Star is amazing and they use TOP QUALITY tuna and all fish. MOST other sushi restaurants serve a completely different fish for tuna and hers is the most quality bluefin tuna. Star only serves what she would eat herself and the woman is alllll about quality! Go and never look back. We love you Star, thank you!
FIVE stars I couldn't be more satisfied with my trip to Hoshi Sushi, the server was so polite she even taught me how to use chopsticks! The sashimi I had is the best I've ever had, and I will be back for more! The rolls were as fresh as can be, I mean even the avocado was just amazingly fresh, I cannot find a flaw with this place, everything was 10/10, one of the only places I've ever felt compelled to write a review about, the reviews stating they were "rude" made me hesitant...read full review

Best hidden gem! We are RAAAVINGG about this place! All you need to know is Christmas roll. Wonderful melange of flavors from yuzu and black truffle with salmon belly and tuna belly. Unreal! 5++++++++++++ stars!!!! The owner and sushi chef hails from New York and was trained by a Japanese sushi chef and some other spots and it shows. The rolls on the menu are for the masses, so if you want something special he can do so much more. Sarasota you are so lucky!!!!
