Great place for cocktails and bar type food. Inexpensive (for Sarasota) and outstanding employees. Big recommendation.
The outside tiki bar seating was full and it was chilly so we went inside and found a table. Turns out the Shriner's Club operates inside the bar and shares a kitchen with Hot Sands. Waitresses were friendly but overworked as there is a staff shortage. Menu features sandwiches, soup, salad, seafood baskets etc. our food came out quickly despite having a full house. I had the shrimp basket with cole slaw and it was okay. There is a huge parking lot behind the building.
