“It took a few minutes for my husband and I to be waited on, but it was quite busy, which told us it must be worth the wait. It definitely was worth it! The Florentine Eggs Benedict was the best I've ever had. My husband had Corn Beef Hash and eggs, made in house not out of a can! It was truly delicious! Hope we make it back that way again soon. We will be back. The waitress was very attentive and kept your coffee cup filled. Bravo for that!!“

“I have enjoyed Blvd Cafe for breakfast and lunch. Love the croissants and latte and both the grilled salmon salad and flank steak with salad were delicious lunch entrees! The owner Mica is gracious and the wait staff hard-working and friendly. Great neighborhood, friendly vibe.“

“Nestled between ice cream stores, art galleries, and clothing stores, you'll find this vegan haven. It has a few tables outside on the sidewalk and a few more inside. The food is very tasty, and there are of course lots of options for various dietary needs (vegan, gluten free, lactose, etc). We had the sweet potato avocado toast (the sweet potato acts as the toast) and a regular avocado toast. Both were tasty, but the avocado toast was not super filling. For drinks try the very tasty (but pricey) juices.“

“My daughter lives in the area and wanted me to try breakfast at First Watch. It was nicely decorated and had a great outside porch to enjoy the sun. We sat outside and enjoyed watching the Turtles and Birds in the pond. Our food came quickly and we had great service. I would definitely eat again here. I got the Everything Omelette--So good, along with the fried potatoes.“

The Sarasota one is to me one of the top! Amazing service, very friendly and always happy to help. The food super fresh and delicious. “Was their for the first time allways drive by on the way to the dog beach se it’s jam packed at lunch time glad I did finally stopped in with my dog Brady and my mom and dad not only are they dog friendly they provide your four legged friend doggie bacon the food is 5 star quality the best corn beef hash in Sarasota county I can tell it’s homemade the best grits and the raisin toast is good and they even have siracha sauce and Rihanna the server was awesome we will definitely come back and ask to be seated at one of Rihanna’s table I highly recommend the breakfast cottage and Rihanna as a server!!!“

“For the record ... We travel in from the Northeast. A local client took us for breakfast back in the 80-90s. Each time we come to Sarasota, we make the pilgrimage to the Serving Spoon. Looks like Denny's - tastes like heaven. Unlike heaven, one can get breakfast after 11. Matter of fact service, food and drinks for those in the know looking for a comfortable coffee shop serving diner food at a reasonable price.“

“Stopped for a late breakfast today. The Full Monty crepes were excellent, I had bacon in mine, the flavor of the bacon was outstanding, and the crepe was cooked perfectly. Our server was great, but the process of ordering and getting the food out was very slow, and there was only one other table occupied. Overall, it's definitely worth a try. I'm sure the serving process will improve with time.“
