“For those who have never been to Rodizio need to go now. It is one of those once-in-a-lifetime experiences.Rodizio has a wide variety of meats brought around to your table so you don't have to get up unless you really need to eat at the buffet/salad bar.Service is always helpful and friendly. It may be a little expensive for dinner (that is why I always go for lunch).They also have special events and specials during certain holidays. Thanksgiving dinner at Rodizio was magnificent.This is a restaurant you really need to experience.“

“An absolute delight! Last minute birthday cupcakes were needed and when I walked in, I was greeted with amazing service! I met one of the owners and he was so very sweet and informative about all of the sweet treats they had and made it extra special with the birthday signs for the cupcakes! “A lovely little cafe in Sarasota with service and food that matches the pretty exterior. SlI stopped by on a Monday morning whilst on vacation, and though the place was quite busy, the staff was handling it very well, and the vibe was fast but comfortable. My experience when ordering was pleasant and bright, and that was an idiom kept by all staff working at the time.I got a stuffed croissant with egg and cheese and spinach, which was quite delicious. My wife got a stuffed everything bagel with ham, egg, cheese and spinach and commented it was tasty enough that she couldn't stop eating it. I got my children elephant ears that they both liked, and my wife and I split a maple pecan croissant that was decadent and enjoyable. Overall, it's definitely a spot I'd say to stop at if you're in Sarasota, as they also had dozens of other beautiful looking pastries, a vast drink menu and lunch options.“

“Small, cozy bar off S Tamiami Trail. We went on a Friday night, and there was a 30-minute wait for regular seating. The bar had open seats so we decided to just order there. I got the stuffed jalapenos, and they came out hot and fresh. Crispy bacon exterior, with a cheesy mozzarella interior. For my main course, I went for the Hawaiian burger, which did not disappoint. It was cooked perfectly to temp with two grilled pineapple wheels, LTO, and bbq sauce on the side. Two thumbs up. My wife got the cheese steak and said it was good but not the best. Both of our main dishes were served with crispy steak fries and a pickle spear. I normally dont like thick cut steak fries because they aren't normally cooked with an exterior crisp, but these were. Service was a bit slow but only because of how busy it was. Service bar drink tickets were printed nonstop, and the bartender did a great job managing wait staff drinks while still tending to her bar guests. Overall, good food and service.“

“A busy Saturday morning, at such a fantastic establishment, you can expect a wait, but it is well worth it. Hands down the best breakfast we've ever had, outside of my own kitchen! The brioche French toast was light and fluffy, the option to get real maple syrup is a perfect pairing. The apple wood smoked bacon is absolutely fantastic. Veggie omelette, was so delicious and full of veggies! The home fried potatoes are seasoned and cooked perfectly. My absolute favorite was the marble rye toast, the most delicious bread I've ever had. And our server Ken was great!“

“One day last week the girls finally had a day out shopping. We stopped in the afternoon to check out this bakery and market. After some cookies I asked about bagels and they only had frozen ones left. I brought a half dozen bag of cinnamon raisin bagels home. Just like the cookies and cakes, the bagels are to die for. They are brought in from New York every morning and baked in the store. I knew my fiancé would love it here. We rode our bikes using the legacy trail from Venice, and since Sarasota has wonderful bike lanes, we easily found our way to the bakery. Now to back up to the beginning of our ride, I took a nasty spill in the first mile and just tried to keep my wound clean along the way and continued my ride. When we rolled up to the market, I cleaned it with water again. Before I knew it, a sweet employee came out to ask me if I needed a bandage. We went in to get the first aid and they fixed me up. It was so nice to see humanity at its best. I really want to thank them for their hospitality. We then went to the bakery and enjoyed their fresh Fruit Tarts. Yummy! Planning another trip with our car to be able to shop the market properly. I highly recommend the gourmet food and the bakery but especially the customer service.“

Service was prompt, he was attentive without hovering, and when we had a little mishap by way of a spilled glass of Sangria he took care of us immediately. “This place is a little dive bar gem! The High side is connected to Precision Cycle, so it's basically the biker bar. That being said, the people are super nice, the food is cheap and the service is fast. My sandwich was tasty enough that I ate the whole thing and got a $3 glass of wine to top it off. Seriously, where else can you get a giant sandwich and a drink for $11? They've even got a pool table.“

I stopped by around breakfast/brunch time for takeout after taking my daughter to get her ears checked (ear infections oft being the bane of all vacation plans).I ordered the veggie burrito, which had a lot of flavor and a bunch of fresh tasting veggies along with cheese. My wife got the avocado toast, which she remarked had way more avocado than she expected, which is a good sign for the more meager price tag. My children split a simple egg and cheese on toast, which they both enjoyed. Overall, it was good and filling breakfast fair for what could definitely be considered a bargain for the area where it resides.“

“Might not be the best pizza I've ever had- but it is definitely one of the better ones. Truly adhering to the New York style pizza making tradition, this is a very thin pie, but one that manages to be both crunchy and chewy, as opposed to just cracker like.I ordered takeout and got the 3 cheese, with the addition of lump ricotta taking the flavor of the pizza to another creamy level. The sauce was good,and it's the kind of pizza where the crust is possibly the best part, as opposed to an afterthought. Definitely deserves the fanfare it has gotten on review sites and notably from Dave Portnoy.“

“Coming from Buffalo, we had to try the fish fry. The fish was flakie and tasty. The breading was a little burnt, and I picked the fish out of the breading. My broccoli was cooked great. The service was great. Our server was friendly, and he was very knowledgeable.“

“I have loved CPK for over 25 years! First one to visit was in Metro Atlanta in the late '90s. Been to this one many times and the food is always great. Generally the servers do a great job and yesterday was no exception - Crystal was great! However, when we arrived they were far from busy. A couple of men were standing in the kitchen and clearly they saw us, but it took them several minutes for one of them to finally walk over to seat us. Party of 5 with 2 being children under the age of 4. No children's menu provided and he placed 8 menus on the table. Noticed these same guys did the same thing to everyone that entered. One couple finally walked out after the guys wouldn't leave the kitchen. These guys were clearly managers based on their clothes. Disappointed to say the least in the lack of performance of the two managers. Again, Crystal was great as our server!“

“The food here is just delicious - carefully prepared, very clean food. The bowl was amazing -- really good quacamole (which they should tell you costs extra) and excellent pico de gallo. My bowl was a bit expensive ($13) for fast food, but the quality of the ingredients makes it worth it. We ordered tortilla chips and they made them fresh immediately -- sooo good. And they serve cold beer! Can't beat this place.“
