“Having just moved to the area, wanted to find a new Chinese restaurant. This is not high end Chinese, but it is really good chinese that we are used to from strip malls. Prices are fair, and the flavor is solid. I have only tried the chicken with broccoli, which came with 2 small, freshly made spring rolls, but it was fresh, and enjoyable.There is no inside seating, so plan on taking your food to go.“
“Love this place so much. Tonight was the 2nd time I’ve been here and everything has been SO delicious. We had Hazel and she was awesome. We had the pork soup dumplings, the BBQ bao buns, some kimchi, and the lamb skewers. And I can’t decide what was my favorite to be honest. Will definitely be coming back!“
“Server was the sweetest lady. We both got the Mandarin style pork and the meat was so tender and delicious. Spice level was on point because the server asked us how spicy we wanted it. Very pleased. Hot and sour soup and wonton soup were great as well. Even the little dish of cucumbers was sweet and yummy. Highly recommend!“
“They have plenty of options for both food and drink, which is a wonderful thing. Food is delicious and fresh. The waitstaff is attentive and experienced, and the pho is above average. “ABC is now at the old Lucky Star's location. They open late which is great for family that works the later hours. We stopped by on our vacation and we enjoyed everything. My favorite is the seafood tofu dry pot. It's very cantonese like. All the dishes are flavorful and don't need any extra soy sauce. Beef chow fun has that smokey wok flavor that we all love. The sizzling beef is also unique and we haven't had anything like it before, definitely a must try. And the fried rice is very good because they do not stick together that's how you differentiate good and bad fried rice. The service is also really good. I enjoyed this family style dinner and glad we were able to find one while traveling.“
“Wok & Roll will always be my go to for Chinese food. The place is always clean and they immediately welcome you in and offer assistance. The food is great and the portions are perfect! I’ve tried quite a few other places at times, but none have kept me coming back. Whether I am ordering my food, picking it up or talking to the delivery guy, they are always so nice! “OK, I’ve passed this ago. Never once have I really ever thought about stopping there. However, yesterday, I was in the mood for sushi and was looking up good reviews on DoorDash and found this place. I was surprised to look at the address photos and realize this was the same as the little tiny drive-through I’ve passed by so many times.Honestly, I was absolutely shocked. Sushi can be really hit or miss. My very favorite sushi restaurant in all of Saint Pete does not deliver - but I had a DoorDash credit I wanted to use. I have had sushi at several different places, and most times I was disappointed - either there was too much rice, or the fish didn’t taste, or feel fresh, the flavors were t there. or a variety of other reasons.However, the sushi rolls I got last night were incredible.10/10 do recommend. The flavor was amazing, it wasn’t too thick on the rice, the fish was soft but firm. And the flavor!! Every single bite that I took I couldn’t believe how good it was. While I was eating it, I went back to read reviews, and everyone else basically says the same thing: ??♀️ fresh and delicious!How have I been sleeping on this place for the last seven years?!I’m not even kidding when I say that I had it yesterday for dinner and ordered it for dinner as well. “I cannot fathom the 4.2 this place has. I am from New England, and there is 0 Chinese places that has food like Golden Star. Every other place that was recommended to us was absolute TRASH. “It is a small space inside a strip mall but it is some of the best chinese takeout I have found in the area. Their garlic chicken and the ribs are two standouts. Plus their lunch special is an usually good deal in this day and economy. No issues with pick up and easy to order online.“

“I am not kidding when I say this is the best service I have ever had. These people are so freaking nice!! The food is good and not oily which is enjoyable for me. If you like spicy, get their house made chili oil. It's ?. Giving 4 stars for atmosphere since it's a take out joint and there isn't much atmosphere. It is however very clean inside which is why I'm giving it 4 instead of 3.“
“I've never been disappointed in what I've ordered from Hao Wah. I usually order the Spicy beef and I get three meals out of the take home dish. They never stint on the meat either. I am a light eater so maybe most people would only get two meals out of the one take home dish. I've dined in many Asian restaurants and Hao Wah is one of my favorites. When I was on crutches they carried the food to the car for me too, without my asking.“
“Ordered for first time here via Uber. The 4 seasons was perfect. The dish was loaded with good quality fresh vegetables and meat. Probably the best Chinese I’ve ever had. My kids got orange and sesame chicken and it too exceeded their expectations. Thank you for the wonderful dinner“

We love the Steamed Dumplings (super stuffed and plump and my favorite dumpling sauce around!), Moo Shu Chicken, Egg Foo Yung, Bone-in Spare Ribs (best spare rib sauce anywhere!), Wonton and Egg Drop Soups, Sweet & Sour Chicken (a good amount of chicken inside and great sweet & sour sauce), Chicken & Broccoli, and more. I love that you have your own delivery drivers to deliver please never change that as they are always so nice and friendly and Smiling. I have had a really bad year and recently ordered some egg rolls among other stuff but they were the most delicious egg rolls I ever ate, really nice and hot. Food-Ordered Crispy spring rolls, Szechuan chicken, and Chinese broccoli and chicken. Both dishes were very good. Was like the crappy pieces of chicken like you get from some restaurants. Had lots of vegetables. The spring rolls were small and creosote. They give you 4 in an order and I thought they were going to be huge but no. So that was nice. Oh, and also had unsweetened iced tea. Lady was kind enough to give me refills while waiting for my to-go order. And this is always a good sign, when you have a bunch of customers who are also Chinese, then you know it must be fairly authentic. Check the place out.“

“It's good. 4 of us got food 4 of us liked food. I'm a little confused by the negative reviews here. I was on the lookout for a lot of the negativity I saw in other reviews and honestly none of us 4 experienced what was upsetting some reviewers. For example, there was a complaint in other reviews it was gelatinous; this was no more gelatinous than other Chinese food I've had. I'm not sure really how Orange Chicken wouldn't be? The reviews that say the spice is real are correct! I was so happy to get something spicy in Pinellas County, so much of what's labeled "Hot" is mild. Will order here again.“
“Excellent food! My husband and I enjoy Chinese food and over the years have tried several places in the St Petersburg area. We thoroughly enjoy the Asian House for take out. The egg rolls and sweet/sour soup is awesome! We have tried a variety of the entrees and never been disappointed. The prices are reasonable, atmosphere cozy, and the food is freshly made. Thank you!“
