“We happened to investigate this store to see what kind of bread they had and found out that they have pastry and filled pasta such as manicotti, tortellini, and ravioli. We tried the olive loaf and a desert. All is transported from Brooklyn, the Bronx and Staten Island. The Bread and desert were both delicious. We had a coconut ice too. Will be back for more.“

Our daughter has an egg and peanut allergy that makes casually dipping into a local ice cream shop (or any restaurant for that matter) a near impossiblity. However, the staff and management at Venice Avenue Creamery walked us through all their ingredients (all ice cream is made in-house, and is EGG FREE), and even brought out boxes for us to read the ingredients. Even further, when we orded for our daughter with allergies, they went into the back and scooped from the uncontaminated/unopened ice cream containers with a new, unused ice cream scoop. Eliminating the remote possibility of cross-contamination.To be able to drop into an ice cream shop as a family of five is something extremely rare and special. And thanks to the fine folks at Venice Avenue Creamery, we were able to make it a special part of our vacation ... more than once!“

“Great local ice cream shop made me feel very welcome. The young gentleman with the blondish brown hair was extremely courteous and customer service was on point with Chick-fil-A. Very accommodating anything to please the customer. The gentleman with the bowl cut dark hair on the other hand was very rude. Pumpkin swirl Milkshake was very good.“

“We went for the Friday night open mic and had the best time! Owner Dan, along with the gals behind the counter - Melissa and Alexis - were absolutely wonderful. We didn't go to eat, but had the pita and green olive tapenade for a snack (delish!!). We will definitely return for a meal - and for the open mic again! Thank you!“

“Great little Ice Cream shop. We love our homemade ice cream shops. We have had Arctic Alligator's ice cream before and were actually going to go there this afternoon, but it didn't open until 2p. Then we searched up ice cream shops near us and found this cute ice cream shop that served Arctic Alligator ice cream as well. We were so happy. We got 1 scoop in a waffle cone. I can't resist key lime pie or cheese cake, so when you put my 2 favorite deserts in an ice cream, I have to try it. Let me just say it did nit disappoint. Delicious. My so got chocolate ice cream hard serve, and my husband mixed roasted coconut ice cream and salted Carmel praline on a waffle cone. It was all amazing. The service was great and loved the cute dining area. There are plenty of tables to sit at inside or outside. We chose to sit inside since it was a little hot out at the time. A/C works great here, by the way. We will definitely be back to try my flovors.“

“The employees are always cheerful and welcoming but not in that annoying way! The store is always clean & neat unless you have the unfortunate timing of coming in behind a gang of slobby PEOPLE( I was gonna just say kids but often there's "adults" too) My favorite flavors are Euro Tart, Pineapple, Limeade, Raspberry & Key Lime. They are all light, tasty & refreshing! There's also something "clean" tasting about them. I live in Englewood but every time I have to go to North Port or Venice, you can always count on a "pit" stop at Peachwave if you're w/me! Pun intended!!“

“I really enjoyed my visit to scoops! The staff was attentive and sweet and the ice cream was really delicious. They have so many options. My favorite was the roadrunner raspberry with fruity pebbles. I love that you can add cereal to your ice creams, not a lot of other stores offer that. It looks like it was recently redecorated and looks very clean and welcoming. Would highly recommend this place!“

“Came here for food an a treat. The only food they have is a hot dog but it's a good one. The different selection of ice cream treats is great, especially the one with the brownie. Nice selection and a step above the rest of the ice cream places. There is no inside seating but there's a covered outdoor seating which is perfectly acceptable.“

Also ordered the baked ziti came with two garlic knots. Both were so delicious! The ziti was authentic and the garlic knot had fresh garlic on top.
