The fry chicken is juicy and succulent! My all time favorite is the spicy curry shrimp with rice and peas plantains and a side of pasta! ( made to order about 30 minutes wait time) People on Saturdays they have the sea world soup!! Order early and order two as you may need one for later! ( downside there are no lunch specials and a bit pricy) I believe it's worth it and portion sizes are large.“

They are over 30 minutes away from me, but I never hesitate to go when I'm craving some real Dominican street food. Their Picadera con proteínas is my go-to. They have different options for the protein and the sides for you to choose from. I always do Tostones with pechurinas (fried chicken), longaniza, carne de res, or cerdo frita. My mom loves their orejitas. When I'm craving a chimi, they are my go-to. They also have a special for chimis on Wednesday. I love their empanadas; they have an authentic Dominican flavor. Their empanada de pollo or pizza are my two favorites. Their Yaroas are excellent and very loaded. Their Rebulu fries are the perfect Dominican-style loaded fries. My family also enjoys their kipes. I can go on forever on what to try from them, but all I can say is that if you are looking for good flavor, quality, and feel of Dominican style food De Lo Mio is the place to go.“

Wife and I find this place as our regular go to place. This all new DJ on Thursday night. Is a complete bomb!!! Can’t hold a conversation! Plays music into the football game! Bartender can’t even hear our order! The music that is played reminds me of strip clubs I use to go to in Miami! I’m from Miami. The locals older generation from Plantation don’t listen to that style of music. I understand it’s a business that’s drumming new business but it’s pushing the regulars out.“
