First time here we had a great meal and experience! My Hot and Sour Soup was very tasty as we waited for our other dishes to arrive. First out was the Shrimp stuffed Eggplant with a delicious brown sauce and al dente Snow Pea pods. We have had other experiences where they chop or put Shrimp paste inside the eggplant, but here the dish is served with the eight eggplant pieces stuffed with whole shrimp...Wow! I've wanted to come here for some time. As it's not in our neighborhood, it took a while to make the trip. And now, sadly, after having a wonderful meal, and wishing they were closer to us, we've learned that they are closing at the end of the month. Rents are going up and the landlord wants them to commit to a longer lease. So here's my dilemma. I'm hoping to get here one more time before they close. And do I tell everyone to come now? The food was very good. You had an option typical Chinese or different. The four of us picked the non traditional food. There was a linen tablecloth on the table and they were very accommodating. We had beef strew soup, pork with bok chop, tofu with gravy, eggplant stuffed with shrimp. All served appetizingly. We all agreed we would return. The only problem we had was the service was a little slow.
