“Tried Halisi Africa for the first time and was not disappointed. First of all, the restaurant is adorable and the staff was so friendly, informative, and helpful. It feels welcoming, romantic, warm, and inviting...like you walked into your favorite coffee shop, or book store, or speakeasy...but they just so happen to sell delicious African food there. Lol It feels as if you can do anything there, from a romantic date, to a girls' brunch, to a birthday dinner, or even just pop in by yourself with a book. But, the star of the show was still the food. It was so flavorful and delicious. You can tell that they use quality ingredients and really care about their food! You feel nourished and fulfilled when you finish eating. The ONLY thing I wish, is that the portions were larger. I ordered to go, so I'm not sure if the portions are larger if you dine in. But, I plan to return to find out. HIGHLY recommend.“
