Such an icon of the Tallahassee scene. I've lived here for 15 years and Blackdog has always been the go to for common meeting spots, first dates, quick coffee in the morning, and quite a bit more. Phenomenal cafe that still carries on the atmosphere of 2nd wave coffee cafes (think Central Perk from Friends) which is such a breath of fresh air when it feels like every other coffeeshop has fully embraced the Modern/Euro/Minimalism aesthetic with clean lines and flat surfaces.Blackdog...read full review
Visited for the 1st time this morning and what a lovely experience. My boyfriend and I each ordered a drink and a baked good. He ordered the iced Vietnamese coffee which was delicious along with a chocolate filled croissant (also delish) and I ordered one of the specialty drinks which I believe was called the lavender haze latte and I ordered it iced(tasted like chocolate covered strawberries with a hint of lavender).
