“I dont write reviews for restaurants as im not a food critic but I felt like i had to for this spot. I have bought food from this place in 4 different occasions and the owners are super friendly, the food is always fresh, well seasoned and delicious ? consistency is key and they are definitely doing it right. My pregnant girlfriend is also picky about the food she eats but loves everything from here, definitely our go to on our days off???“
“The food here was SO good! They had it all. It’s alike a little Dominican buffet. You can get one main and two sides for about $14-16; and the portions were great! I had Rice with gandules, ropa vieja, and yuca (but I really wanted to taste everything they had, LOL) Clean restaurant, good music was playing, and plenty of tables. Highly recommend.“
“Excellent Dominican cake. They are 2 hours away but they are worth every penny of it. I did not ordered ahead of time but they just had bake some cakes and were able to decorate them (They informed me that if I want them decorated I would need to wait 20-30mins and I did) and put the filling. I did pineapple and dulce the leche. While waiting I tried a couple of empanadas and kippes and a Dominican soda "country club". And also took home a Tres leches. Simply amazing.“
“If you are looking for authentic Spanish food— go here. The best Cuban toast breakfast sandwich you will ever have. Mangu is incredible. Not greasy and not dry. Incredible. We ordered our same meal to go as well. I have never done that before.“
“Heading to The Latin Dugout in Tampa, Florida, post-concert turned out to be an exhilarating culinary adventure that I didn’t know I needed. Nestled in the vibrant streets of Tampa, this food truck is a gem for anyone craving authentic Dominican delights, especially when the night is far spent. My visit happened after a concert that wrapped up around midnight, and to my pleasant surprise, The Latin Dugout welcomed late-night food enthusiasts until 4 a.m., making it a standout for Dominican cuisine in the area. The food, oh the food, was nothing short of delightful. I opted for fritura, and each meat I selected was cooked to utter perfection, embodying the rich and savory flavors that Dominican cuisine is celebrated for. It’s a testament to the authenticity and care the chefs put into their cooking, ensuring that each bite transports you to the heart of the Dominican Republic. The Latin Dugout isn’t just about the food; it’s about the experience. Although parking can be a bit of a challenge due to the limited spaces available, it's a minor hiccup in what promises to be a memorable visit. They have managed to create a cozy dining space with a few tables and chairs, allowing patrons to enjoy their meals on-site. The truck’s location, adjacent to a gas station, might not sound glamorous, but the atmosphere around The Latin Dugout is unexpectedly inviting and entertaining, making you forget about the mundane surroundings. This food truck is a place I’d recommend to anyone looking to dive into Dominican culinary excellence without boarding a plane. Whether you’re winding down from a night out or seeking a late-night food adventure, The Latin Dugout stands ready to serve up a slice of Dominican warmth and flavor. Just remember to navigate the limited parking situation, and you’re set for an unforgettable food journey.“
“Diana Delicias catered my bridal shower and it was very delicious! Everything from the set up to how the food tasted exceeded our expectations. We have ordered cakes and appetizers from Diana before and they are always amazing. I highly recommend her for all of your special occasions.“
“We found this amazing place on Google and decided to give it a try. Brandy greeted us and was very kind, friendly and helpful. We then met Mandy who took our orders and struck up a nice conversation. They make great food and have great customer service skills. You have to come and try it!“
“We stopped here on our way to Bush Gardens. Love that they are not quite about their faith with all the biblical decor. My mother in law doesn't eat much Latin food and she is not accustomed to the seasonings so she didn't like her initial order. The owner was very nice and gave her another meal free of charge ❤️ showing God's grace in that action. Our trip started off bumpy but running into this place reminded me that God is always with us!“
“I happened to be in the area and was just looking for a coffee and breakfast sandwich. I saw this place had 5 stars on Google but didn't really look at anything past that. When I walked in, I was greeted by a wonderful lady and found out this was a domincan family owned restaurant. I love trying new foods and let her order for me. Her father made me the most delicious, authentic Dominican breakfast and coffee. I was so happy I found this place and highly recommend stopping in if you are in the area! I love family restaurants, and I also met her father as well. What a gem of a place!Vegetarian options: Veggie and cheese empanadas“
