I first knew about Village Inn in Omaha, Nebraska so imagine my surprise when I came to Florida. I first visited Village Inn in clearwater and then for whatever reason, it shut down and then another one on Dale Mabry and that became some other establishment, so I started coming to this one closer to Kennedy also on Dale Mabry. It was a party of 6. We ordered oreo pancakes, birthday pancakes, French toast, regular pancakes, grits, etc. The food was really good. Might be time for an upgrade in building presentation, inside deocor. The staff were very pleasant. I gave a 3 star for atmosphere because on the side where the restroom is has a suer like smell. Kinda like bad water or something. Horrible smell. If we had been seated in that area, we probably wouldn't have stayed. But lots of people sat over...read full review
