“I was visiting from out of town. The food was very good. The process is very much like chipoltle but with a healthier farm to table version of food. I thought it was going to be a sit-down restaurant. I was told the steak was a great option to go with along with the mac and cheese.. It did not disappoint. I got a mixture of rice and greens with the sweet potatoes. When thinking about this does not sound like the best combination. However, when you add the garlic aoili sauce, it is perfect. I like to mix my food up. I would definitely try another option should i visit tampa again.“
“Even though Ellies has great food, great servers and othe help except Pam who was a different story the first time she was our server. She was pretty miserable and I noticed the busers were doing pretty much all of her work. She just took our order. Busers brought menus, silverware, drinks and even did our refills. One of the other servers on the floor brought us our food. We chalked it up to she was having a bad day and even though I wanted to tip the busers, we did tip Pam! Today we got her again and from what we could tell, nothing had changed! Our opinion, if you don't enjoy working with the public, hit the road before you start causing Ellies to lose customers. We will try again, but if we see her coming to us, we will ask for a different server. No one deserves to be treated rudely!!!! “This place is so good!! I've passed by Greenlane so many times that I finally decided it was my turn to try them and now I'm hooked ! I got a harvest bowl, but instead of the dressing it comes with I got the chipotle, and also added corn poblano and the Flavors came together so well! I love the sweet potato with the spice from the poblano and chipotle ranch. It was a match made in heaven. The slushies are so good I've been back since to get another slushie and salad and it's was fantastic. Definitely going to be back!“

“I had take out Chicken Pad Drunken Noodle that was Thai Hot++ (EXTREME HEAT—I love spice) with Chicken. The chicken was luscious, delicate, and delectable. The noodles were perfect, and the spice brought real tears to my eyes. I say this as a chef who’s worked in fine dining and a Michelin Star restaurant, go check them out. The only place I've been able to find a solid chicken salad at prior to this was Magnolias in Bartow but I will always return back here! I have tried the fancy Nancy, lemon basil, the BBQ chicken salad and the kickin Lynn. All of them I recommend and would get again and I'm definitely looking forward to exploring more of their choices and trying the whole menu.“
“Defiantly the best Pizza in the SemHeights area. It's a thinner (but not too thin) crust NY style Pizza. Nice crisp, excellent toppings. There is a lot...lot of pizza places in Tampa and most of the are pretty terrible, this is one of the good ones. Good beer selection, local craft brewery stuff, not the largest selection but they got all the bases covered. Indoor Outdoor seating. Yes it is a converted gas station, but is done surprisingly well. Has to be the only time I ever seen a gas station converted successfully. All in all great place, it's defiantly my go to for local pizza.“

“I first knew about Village Inn in Omaha, Nebraska so imagine my surprise when I came to Florida. I first visited Village Inn in clearwater and then for whatever reason, it shut down and then another one on Dale Mabry and that became some other establishment, so I started coming to this one closer to Kennedy also on Dale Mabry. I was happy to see a familiar face from another location named Rosie-an amazing human being with a heart of gold. Another familiar face is Brenda and Brenda is an amazing server with super service and high attention to detail. Now Village Inn at this location can up it's game a bit by interior updates for a more pleasant dining experience. Most of the servers are exceptional such as GG, Tiffany, Sharonda, Holly, Denise, Brenda, Danielle, Angie, Jackie and Annette. GG is by far my most favorite because she is attentive, always has a smile on her face, and goes the extra mile to deliver a wonderful experience. I am a regular here and visit Village Inn when Im in town-Wish they had Village Inn in NY, NJ, CT, PA, and VA with at least one GG in each location. GG is high energy and super at her job as she takes a lot of pride in what she does and she takes her job very seriously. GG has a high attention to detail, gets every detail of my order and usually knows what I like before I ask just the way I like it. Without asking, GG is usually on top of her A-game and replenishes empty drinks and always has a smile on her face with a wonderful small talk exchange in a proactive manner. GG is a strong asset to Village Inn as a high energy server and pleasant to talk with. Tiffany is much the same way and Tiffany is super chill as well. On the same note, Ive had absolutely atrocious service by someone who forgot to give me utensils, brought the wrong dressing, and apologize for being distracted by another table to the point I had to ask for another server. I get it some people are having a bad day and got distracted we are all human . Awesome set of managers such as Joie, Rosie, Denise, and Cherie. At random times, I always pay for any law enforcement in appreciation for all they do as well as other tables just cuz. Food is fresh and tasty for most selections as well as customizing food the way I like it such as avocado salad, avocado toast, and other types of dishes done in a certain way.“

From the moment we walked in to the moment we left we felt appreciated as customers and have been treated amazingly. They were out of the saffron basmati rice (it was cooking when we arrived but not ready yet) and my boyfriend and I typically only get that rice when eating at Cava however we decided to try the brown rice instead and it did not disappoint. The taste and quality of the food and soft drinks we had were superb. Ellis and DJ’s radiant, divine, and welcoming energy made mine and my boyfriend’s experience better than we could’ve ever imagined. Their persistent effort, compassion, and remarkable customer service has not gone unnoticed. Perfect amount of spice and totally reminded me of being in New York. I folded in half and felt like I stepped back in time jamming out to good tunes with pizza in hand. I’ve also had the zucchini noodle warm broth bowls a couple times and substituted the corn, onion, carrot for baby kale, broccoli and chick peas for no extra charge and added blackened chicken breast…it’s pretty legit if you’re looking for something that’s not trash for your body. My only small issue with the broth bowls are the awkward to eat with rectangle-like spoons. But yea, definitely recommend the place and the wraps are also pretty fire. I’d rather sit at the outdoor tables than the inside at the location in Westchase. It’s not dirty inside but it’s relatively small, I prefer more space.“

They played real mexican music that we listen to all the time. The guests were all so nice, we told a group their food looked so good and they sent over a round of beers. The owners nephew was sUch a hard worker and made sure everyone was being taken care of, no matter how vpusy it was. And the food was excellent. Our kids loved every bite(and they are picky).
