“This is officially our new go-to restaurant! The atmosphere is upscale, but still so hometown and friendly. The portions are well done- we went home with leftovers! Our server, Matthew, was so lovely, very friendly, very professional. You can tell he enjoys people and values working here. You’re in for a great time if he’s your server! The Korean Fried Wings and Mongolian Wok- 10/10 recommend!“
“Finally had the opportunity to try Lilly's Tacos. Everything was fresh and made to order. Great flavor in every bite with amazing salsa. I am looking forward to trying what more the menu has to offer. Thank you Jordan for an amazing lunch!“
“Since it was recommended to me, that's how I checked it. Hidden gem of good gas station food.Birria Taco with the quality of the street stalls in Mexico City. Today I also tried a Taco de cuerito and blew my mind. Some delight. They have a very varied menu.My prejudice against food at gas stations ended. To judge, you must first try. I decided to go to this post because of a message I read on FB. The recommendation they made was so positive that I told myself, tomorrow I'm going to order something, when I saw that they had Birria, and I saw an order that a customer ordered, when I saw it I said, this is authentic. I have already been five times and the quality, quantity and most importantly, the consistency has been the same as the first time. Tomorrow I'll return to try the broth of the day that varies every Saturday. I mean, I'm going to kill the hangover.“
“I'm so blessed that this place is about five minutes from me. I've been looking for a go-to taco place since crossing over Racetrack Road and becoming a Pinellas Resident instead of Hillsborough. I have driven by Juli's multiple times a week every week for a couple of years now and wish I had stopped sooner. My search is over. Thank goodness!!!The place is unassuming, but festive. Hope they bring the produce back at some point. I missed that part of their business. This is a food truck with a good size patio for a fresh air option to enjoy your food there. I did take-out this time. For some variety, I ordered one steak, one chicken, and one marinated pork taco. To round out my experience, I added the esquites (termed something else on the menu). I would love the option to have tried a shrimp or fish taco, but you must buy in orders of three (which I see often at Mexican and Taco places alike) for $11, which is actually a good deal. The pork marinated came recommended and did not disappoint. All three tacos were excellent. They provided plenty of limes and hot sauce, which added a nice heat and additional layer of flavor (I tried them with and without the sauce. I'm a habanero/ scotch bonnet heat level; but for those who do not like spicy, these are flavorful without). The esquites was what I would expect. I prefer elote (the cob over a cup).Normally, I do not buy a drink with dinner or lunch. I drink a lot of water and do not want the sugar, caffeine, or carbonation in most available options. They had Aqua Fresca Tamarindo, and I love any and all things tamarind, so I treated myself (started a new job this week, so why not). This may have been the highlight for me or icing on the cake. Wow, so much tamarind flavor and not overly sweet. Large cup, so I split this and drank half with my meal and the other half the next day (actually smiled to myself when I saw it waiting for me in the fridge). They offer a decent size refrigerator of drink options of choices and had a few aqua fresca choices. I should have checked to see if they have the Mexican Cokes. I do those about once a quarter.Going forward, this is my go-to taco spot. I see why the ratings are so high. Well deserved. If you are near this like jem, do yourself a favor and stop in.Parking: There is plenty of parking. They still have the building/store where they used to sell produce (it's currently locked up, so enter through the patio).“
“Very tasty! Ordered ahead and had a pleasant pickup experience. I had the jackfruit sandwich and as a vegetarian I highly recommend!!! Ohhhhh and get the chocolate banana empanada, you’ll love it. Vegetarian options: Jackfruit sandwich ?“
“Seems like good value. The portions are large. My tacos were packed with meat, toppings and flavor. My burrito bowl was equally as good. What can you say, same toppings, same great flavor. All the toppings and meat were fresh. I had the beef and chicken for tacos and the pork and chicken in my bowl. Really, really good.“
“Convenient, quick, friendly, and tasty. That was one delicious, filling, taco made “my way.” Ingredients tasted fresh and the chicken used in the taco was prepped properly and marinated with a blend of well balanced seasoning. I should have ordered two! I will be back to Jesse Mae’s. I suggest you give this food a try. I also saw all kinds of burgers on the menu as well. Stop by , say hi, look at the menu, and I’m sure you will find something you will love! Thank you for making me a delicious taco!“
“Let me start with this is a taco STAND and not a full on restaurant. For what they have, and pricing this is excellent for a light bite. Tacos are small, street style and delicious. Sure the salsa might not be the hottest but the offerings are great, love that they offer vegetarian and vegan tacos too! Nice surprise and if you are walking by in need of a snack, definitely give them a try!“
“I was pleasantly surprised by my first visit yesterday. Places like this are usually best known for their large drinks, and I'm sure Fatty doesn't disappoint there, the crowd was pretty raucous for a Sunday afternoon, but I was there to eat. My blackened grouper sandwich was delicious, excellent quality fish and NOT OVERCOOKED. My companion had a burger which looked juicy and pink in the center. Laid back 'beachy' atmosphere added to the experience. Definitely on my list for a return visit.Vegetarian options: Plenty of fish options.“
“Absolutely loved the lobster bisque and clam chowder! I recommend the crab cakes as well since they were full of crab meat. The pie of the day was Banana Cream Pie. The setting on the dock is amazing at sunset. I suggest wearing a hat and/or sunglasses because despite the shaded covers, the sun reflects off the water. Parking at Edgewater Park is slim and much is restricted to Marina slip users (naturally). We parked at City Hall and took the freebie Loop to Bon Appetite then walked to Olde Bay. “Well, I came with a group of 10 and everything was very tasty and served hot. The only issue was the time (it took us over an hour to get our food!!) and the the server must have been new because she kept making errors. Other than that, our visit was a 4 star !“
