“My girlfriend and I went to this place on our way to the movies just to get something quick and we immediately agreed to order barría tacos. Let me just tell you the service was top notch, the food was incredibly well made and tasted amazing. The gentleman that served us went out of the way to give us the best meal tacos of Tampa and had us taste all of their spicy sauces and even offered to double them up. This was all at the very end of his day when they were just about to close the truck. Him and his other employees made sure we had the best experience ever! Please don’t hesitate to try them out !!!“
“This location has some wonderful Mexican cuisine. The nacho chips are absolutely amazing. They are the perfect consistency to holding up sauce and queso without getting soggy. One of my favorite items is the chicharrones taco. It is loaded with nicely balanced pork belly with a sweetish sauce, salty feta cheese, and paired with onion and cilantro. Delectable!!Vegetarian options: There is a wonderful vegetarian taco with mushrooms, onion, and peppers.“

“Excellent service very friendly. Very good food. I have no complaints about the place and its services. Supporting small places in these times of pandemic is the best thing we can do to shape the economy so they don't have to close their doors. Negative people go ahead and keep buying burgers and fries. Have compassion on the merchants and people who put all their effort and money to be able to have their store open, in this Pandemic. By a client with Cholera. It does not determine neither the food nor the place and its service by the hundreds that we like about this place to eat.
“Really Mexican food (antojitos) and especially the sauces and bullfighting chiles wow! They cook with very good seasoning and use quality products. Super Recommended! If you are in a hurry I recommend calling and placing your order in advance, their staff is always very helpful and friendly.“
“Honestly I love Bull Market! They are a great local family run option. I love their endless selection to mix and match for a unique bowl every time. You can't go wrong with their yam noodles and sweet potato mash! I usually order to go but every once in a while I will dine in, which is a nice change of pace because their interior is relaxing with dim lights and feels bodega-ish. Highly recommend!Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options“
“Visiting Tampa. After a recommendation from someone else, came for some tacos. Had their al pastor & carne asada and they were very good. Sauces could be spicier but the tacos were great. Al pastor especially was my favorite, crispy corners on the meat, the tortillas were perfect.“
“If you're looking for some delicious authentic tacos, this is the place to go. And let me tell yall, he doesn't skimp on the steak or chorizo so it is very fulfilling and worth every penny. After eating 2/4 tacos I bought, I felt compelled to leave a review and let others know how fantastic this food truck is. In addition to the amazing food, the guy who served me provided great customer service as well. 10/10 would recommend.“
“Ones of the best spots I've had in Florida coming from southern Cali, says a lot. Fresh, yummy, clean & quick. Wish I could've snapped a pic but I ate too quick. Talked with someone, maybe the owner? Anyways super nice and remembered my friend who had only been a few times. Definitely recommend!“
“The Lolis on Benjamin Rd is amazing, the pastor sope, quesadilla, and carne asada tacos are the best I have eaten and that says a lot, I have had them from multiple southern states and many throughout Florida. This was hands down the best I have had!! Please open one in Brandon, FL. Thank you for an amazing lunch.Denise RodriguezVegetarian options: Very fresh“
“First time trying them after seeing the great reviews and realizing I worked close. I got the chicken teriyaki w/ white rice and veggies there; and wow. it was so fresh and delicious! I work at the Camping World across the street. I'll definitely be coming in more often to grab lunch. Thanks for lunch ladies!“
“Although I have been in Tampa 2 years now I had never been to the International plaza food court. I recently happened upon this gem Mexican restaurant to entertain a friend that came into town to visit. The wait was short, our bartender Sam was great. We had the pork tacos and the roasted corn. Food was phenomenal but what really really made my day was the service from our waitress Emma. Patient as she waited for our food choices. GREAT very welcoming personality. She checked on us regularly, just overwhelming awesome personality. Funny, and made the whole restaurant experience that much more enjoyable. Emma girl you did your thing.Gina MillerRiverview FlParking: International mall parking lot“
“a really yummy surprise while visiting Tampa! this place is the OG's of Birria! Don't expect fancy or health food, but greasy, delightfully tasty comfort food all made to order in house. plus, the Aguas Frescas are LEGIT.seriously, If you've never had Birria tacos before, then do yourself a favor and make this place you try yourself. will definitely come again next time I'm in Tampa!“
“Empanadas filled differently. 4pk/$25($7ea. hey, it's Armature Works). Fresh Prince: take on a Philly. Buffalo Soldier 2.0: buffalo chicken. Cheeseburger in Paradise: as advertised. Tampa Girl: a Cuban in an empanada. All delicious. Taste like they were baked or air fried. Thank God, because the insides were pretty gooey with cheese ?. Cute baking mold with the names. There's tacos, too. I hear it's another great transition from a food truck. If you're trying not to have a full meal, most of the places in AW don't help, even the smaller kiosks seemed geared to larger(and pricier) offerings. See my review of AW.“
“I discovered this place when I was pregnant last year and it was absolutely amazing. Ms. Laura is such a sweetheart. I absolutely adore her. I stop by every time I am in the area. The food is ????. Very authentic taste. Everything is fresh. They make you feel welcome and the food taste as if it was made with love. I have yet to have a bad experience.“
“The owner is kind and helpful. The food is amazing! And prices are great! Portions are good to! I had the Al pastor burrito! Guac is automatically included inside with no up charge. And I tried a fried plantain desert that comes with a sweetened condensed milk sauce ? the whole thing will probably be 3 meals for me. The burrito was $9 and dessert $3.“
“The food is really great, I frequent this location. My favorite is the duck but they just added a tuna that is phenomenal. I rather enjoy their lettuce wrapped tacos more and more as well. The vibe is always fun and never dull. It can get packed so make sure you call ahead or get a reservation. Also it getting packed can create some slow service but honestly that is rare and the staff is pretty great.“
“We had a great lunch this afternoon. It was our first visit. We had the steak and chicken bowls. They were fantastic! Great food and reasonably priced. My daughter also enjoyed her order of churros. Felicia our server was very friendly and pleasant. We look forward to returning in the near future.“
“Comida deliciosa! La Torta de Asada y la Agua de Limon que ni se diga! Llevamos desde Enero ordenando de ahi y todo sigue igual de Delicioso. Lo unico que pensamos que ocupan es una salsa más picosa, ya hemos probado la verde y roja y están igual no pican. Y como muchos mexicanos son como mi esposo que no comen agusto si no pica, sería mi única recomendación por que aparte de eso todo delicioso! Y los recomendó al 100%.“
“A humble fast casual restaurant with really nice staff and the best chicken quesadilla I've ever had! This is no Americanized menu. There are tacos, quesadillas, sopes, and tamales, and each one looks better than the last. You can even have a bowl! The tortilla was crispy, the mozzarella cheese was generous, and the chicken was delicious! The chicken was chopped into small pieces, sauteed in something incredible, and had fresh cilantro sprinkled on top. Whenever I'm close by, I'll be eating here and trying their sopes next!“
“Super crowd when we visited this place. I’m sure they are great on a less busy day. We visited during strawberry fest. The food was awesome. My wife has been craving good Mexican food and this place satisfies that for sure. Very authentic. They have awards in the walls. Price was good also!Parking: Very tight parking lot. Very few spots. Do not park in the 7-11 store across the street. You will get towed away if you do.“
“This is not so much a taco restaurant but instead it's a bowl shop. They put together delicious bowls with a good selection of toppings, proteins and base stuffYou select your base (rice, greens, etc.), then your protein, then toppings. There's plenty of seating both inside and outside. There is a self-serve beverage station.“
“The food is soo good! Just wish I can go get some when I wanted it. It seems they are never open! Needs better hours. Every time I go, even if it says they should be open, they are not. Closed on Sundays and Monday as well! Would need better hours please so I can enjoy your food more often! :)“
“Didn't even see this place when I first passed .had to do a quick search of the area for some good food near me literally a 2 minute walk for a quick bite to eat. Tried the lunch burrito and was not disappointed! The right size for a great price and a diet coke on the side. Will be back for more authentic flavors.“
“This is one of the best burritos I’ve ever had and it’s out of a food truck at a gas station. We were at the Elder Ford and told them we have to leave food and they said what would you like, we said mom and pop they said what about tacos we said yes and glad we did, it was amazing highly recommended!Parking: It’s at a gas stationKid-friendliness: Kids are allowed!“
“I have been a fan of this family since i moved to tampa back in 2011. They had a spot on armenia and i used to go everyday. They moved closer to my job and now i go at least 3 times a week. Their food is delish and cooked with love and they are always friendly and kind and happy. My kind of place. Ill be a loyal customer for ever =)“
“Talk about a hole in the wall gem. Upon arrival you will think it's just a gas stastion with your typical convenience store inside, but, just passed the cashier you'll find a hot care with a friendly face ready to take your order! My husband frequently visits this little shop for Lunch and wanted to share the wealth with his wife since we happened to be in the area. PHENOMENAL! I tried the quesabirria and it was out of this world! Super duper hot and undoubtedly very fresh, packed with flavor and very filling. Mostly you'll have to take it to go, but, they do have a small bar with maybe 6 chairs you can dine in in a pinch. Cannot wait to be in the area again. Don't let the lack of athestics turn you away, this place is amazing!“
“Tacos las californias has hands down the best carne asada nachos in Tampa. They're perfect. Freshly fried tortilla chips, guacamole, flavorful meat, and all the fixings you could want. They don't skimp on ingredients or flavor. I would have posted a photo, but they didn't last that long. Just order them!!“
“I saw Jimmy's Tacos advertised in a "That's So Tampa" email and since I was in Ybor for the vintage market, I decided to swing by for lunch. What a nice surprise!!! I ordered the shrimp tacos - one blackened (omg - yum!) and one grilled. They were large/jumbo shrimp cook perfectly and served on blue corn tortillas. Delicious. The atmosphere was very Ybor - chill, and fun. I loved seeing the chickens roam around and good service topped it off.“
“I just had a bad meal at another restaurant nearby home and I found myself asking why I didn't just grab tacos tonight (it was after 10 that's why) but it reminded me that this place is 100% great 100% of the time. I go at least twice a month smh haha. I love the Tinga tacos and green sauce but I'd also recommend the birria tacos, carne and barbacoa tacos. The nice ladies in the truck are always sweet and get your order down accurately. The nice little seating area works if you wanna eat onsite/dont mind eating at a gas station. 10/10 would recommend for quick Mexican food in South Tampa any day“
“you have to try this place! a fun little cafe in an office building with great views, great service, and even better food. we had the cuban breakfast sandwich and it was stellar! the smoothies are great too. the owner is super friendly and you can tell he is just passionate about his food. can’t wait for our next visit so we can come here again.“
“Mexican place with several vegan options including tacos, burritos, bowls, and taquitos. They have vegan cheese as well. Lots of veg options for the protein! Only bummer was we paid $3 extra for vegan queso per burrito and none of us tasted it.“
“Everytime I look for a highly rated place, most of the time my wife and I are disappointed and I look the like idiot recommending a random place. This place is nowhere close to that and is one of the best mexican places i have ever eaten at. I haven't had anything close to rockys since Denver and I've grown up in South and Central Florida. Please go there, you will not be disappointed. $11 for a huge burrito.“
“These were some of the BEST Quesabirria Tacos I've ever had, and I'm from San Diego where the Mexican food is bomb!! My husband had the Chorizo Sandwich and that was amazing too! We really loved this little spot in Tampa. Great stuff!!“
“I'm from Los Angeles. Admittedly I am a taco snob.Let me just say, after living here for over a decade I gave up my search for authentic Mexican food.I am absolutely floored and will be coming back every time I am in the area.Holy smokes guys, fantastic flavors.“
“We had the $6 (3) taco special with a choice of steak, pork, or chicken. All three were phenomenal.Excellent customer service, the place is very clean, I tried the bacon cheeseburger last week and it was great, the burger was a half pound and very fresh and definitely not frozen patties, had a very delicious char, a lot of good bacon also charred slightly in the most delicious way, on a grilled potato bun with lettuce, tomato, pickle, onion, special sauce, cheese, and a side of crispy fries.Everything is well priced, great quality, and delicious.“
“Tacos las californias has hands down the best carne asada nachos in Tampa. They're perfect. Freshly fried tortilla chips, guacamole, flavorful meat, and all the fixings you could want. “Rolled up on a Friday at lunch to grab some tacos. Employee was definitely about business over friendliness. My order took about ten minutes. Price was decent. Food was as expected. I won't say it is the best I have had, but the tacos and quesadilla were both worthy of their namesake. Everything was wrapped up nicely. Check them out if you are in the neighborhood.“
“This is the place to go late night, for cheap tacos, and.. authentic food. my wife is a larger fan than me, but... if you are on a budget, want authentic street food, or just love tacos, go here! The prices make sense for the food, the location is easy to get to. The people working here are friendly, and they also have great hours. Inside it does look like a hole in the wall, which it is, but, that's what you want no? Make sure you bring cash as it's cash only, but... again, it's a place to get tacos most of hours of the day.“
“Food was excellent! Meal came with warm salsa and chips. I've never had warm salsa before but I surprisingly enjoyed it very much. I definitely believe it added to the flavor somehow. AnywaysI got the Birria ramen and the pastor Mexican tacos. The Birria ramen was exactly what the name is, a traditional Birria stew with ramen. It was what I expected no more no less flavor wise. My only complaint is that the noodles were over cooked. As for the pastor tacos, they were delicious very flavorful and moist meat! My son got the quesabirria tacos and he said that they were the best Birria tacos he's ever had. The shells were cooked perfectly with a great crunch and slightly browned. Most of the ones he's had before have been nice and crispy but they're also typically dripping with oil but not these. He also enjoyed their horchata which he also rated on the top of his list.“
“I go here regularly but I usually stick to the tacos. This week I decided to switch it up and try the quesadillas and I was not disappointed. The portion size was great and they gave a good amount of shrimp within the quesadillas. Service is always great per usual.“
“Super clean truck, with nicely shaded small patio/tables to enjoy some of the best tacos I've had in years! The freshly made corn tortillas were outstanding. The guy taking orders was super sweet. My Diet Coke was ice cold...an added bonus!“
