“A very talented gentleman started this place some years back when I first went looking for a cigar after our pilot brought us into puddle jumpers. Ever since it has been my favorite place to go. When I visit Mount Dora, Tavares, Eustis or Leesburg. My wife does not like cigar bars but she absolutely loves this place. My French bulldog absolutely felt at home. I can enjoy a cigar with out her getting overwhelmed by stale smoke. The air flow is just perfect here and has a very Florida room feeling when around the bar. Very comfortable in the summer and super cozy in the winter months with the fire tower heaters that are here. The humidor is well maintained, you might not find everything here but the cigar selection is excellent. Proper range of beers and wines for pairing with cigars. After a nice day of fishing out on the lake and some burgers or steaks near by this place is the best time spent for a beautiful evening.“
“A Hidden Gem by the Lake!Fish Camp Lake Eustis is a delightful restaurant with a lovely lakeside setting. Their steakburger and French fries are outstanding — the 1/2 lb burger I received (pictured in my review) was juicy and cooked to perfection, served on a buttery toasted bun, and the fries were crispy and perfectly seasoned. The prices here are very reasonable considering everything is brought in fresh, and the portions are generous. The staff here has always been friendly and attentive, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. The atmosphere is fairly casual and relaxed, perfect for a laid-back meal with friends or family with fantastic views of the lake. As a local favorite, finding parking, seating, and getting your food can take some time during peak hours, which should be expected anywhere, but I can assure you it’s well worth the wait. Many of the negative reviews I’ve read here seem to be left by pretentious people who think the world revolves around them. Listen, if you’re polite, friendly, and respectful to staff your servers will notice and appreciate your kindness. I visited for lunch during a weekday. My hostess/server seated me promptly, provided me a menu upon seating, brought me a beverage right away, and got my order in very quickly. She stopped back several times to check in on my experience and to see if I needed anything, was able to provide me with a guest WiFi password, and even brought me a small to-go cup for my Coca-Cola. Kindness begets kindness, people. Remember that. All in all, Fish Camp Lake Eustis is a hidden gem in Tavares that I would highly recommend to anyone looking for delicious food, beautiful views, and friendly service.Parking: Limited number of spots in the restaurant parking lot, but people park on the lawn on a property across the street. It can get busy here so finding parking can be difficult.“
“I like this place. It’s got a cool vibe. But admittedly, the whole food thing is confusing. We went next door to get food and beer; the more restaurant side. Folks there said they only had a few beers and sent us to the bar spot and said they were owned by the same people and we could just order there and have more beer options. Awesome. So went there. I ordered and started a tab. Ordered beer and food. No prob. My friend ordered beer and food and started a separate tab. Easy. Food took a while but it was fine, there were great beer options. Went to close out and I got a beer check. Then they gave me a food check separate where they’d charged me multiple tabs of food. I said, “hey, you put the whole tab on my card,” and the server responded with, “Well, you didn’t tell me you wanted them separated.” Not sure how I would even know to ask that? Anyway, it turned into a hassle that required getting a manager from next door to figure it out. All of that is fine, it worked out. But it *might* be useful to tell people when they order food that it is a whole separate tab and also to track tabs in the system. Or put a sign up. I’d have asked if I’d known.Overall a cool spot but making things a little more seamless goes a long way.“
“The one thing that keeps me coming back to this place is Cynthia. She is amazing. So full of personality and experience. I am convinced she could serve that place blindfolded.I’ve been coming for years. The food is getting so boring. I will however always the sweet and Spicy Tacos. Which of course I was recommended by Cynthia. I always get a side of Pork Ri da because where else has homemade ?“
“Rabbit for Easter!? And those hot cross buns, woo hoo hoo doot, doot, dooo! lol. I give them something like a five for nice elevated dining with delicious fancy foods and impressive, exemplary hospitality on a level you don't see often enough anymore, in a beautifully curated arty modern space. I don't mind throwing good money down on food and an experience worthy of it and 1921 delivered, mostly. Was looking forward to the deviled duck eggs as shown on the online "example" menu but they didn't have them on the day. Shoot. And while I realize this is supposed to be an experience, we waited well over an hour for our mains to come out, long after starters and cocktails ran out, and I was about done, restless, and feeling full. So, whatever was special with the mains was sort of lost; at least on me. Our bill was also messed up, they double charged us, and took even more time still, to fix.“
“Visiting from the Chicago area, we are so blessed to have found this place. We can't give it high enough reviews. Best coffee in the Orlando area so far. We loved visiting Mt. Dora and Ground Up was the perfect way to start a perfect day.“
“This restaurant has the best Mexican food in the state, IMO. We lived in Arizona for 20 years and miss real Mexican food. My husband had the enchiladas and I had the carne asada. Everything was great. The restaurant is clean, service is excellent and food is great.Parking: Parking is tough. Street parking is the best option, but hard to find a spot on weekends.“
“A great place to eat outside in Mount Dora, Fl. If you like deviled eggs you will ABSOLUTELY love the Devilish Eggs as an appetizer. The goat cheese they put on the Mt. Dora Burger is amazing!! The salad dressing is homemade and is wonderful. Haven't had anything bad there - it's a great restaurant!!“
“They offer a most deliciousCAULIFLOWER CRUST/GLUTEN FREE options!!I couldn't be more pleased!Vegetarian options: It's an Italian restaurant so Vegetarians just knock-off meat items....Dietary restrictions: Gluten free availableParking: Parking at restaurant ample and public parking lot, directly across street.“
“The absolute best ice cream I’ve had in a long time. The only downside is they have so many flavors to chose from but I always mix and match anyways :) I live about 20 minutes from this location and it’s always worth the drive. Lastly I never leave there with a stomachache (which is very odd) just goes to show the quality of the ice cream. The staff is great and so many options to sit from inside and out!“
“Five stars isn't enough for this wonderful ice cream shop, and as far as I'm concerned it's one of Umatilla's best little gems. The staff is always nice, and even when I'm indecisive about what I want, they seem to know more about what I'm craving than I do sometimes. By far my favorite ice cream place, no contest.“
“Although the food is very good - the service needs improvement, took 15 min to get a drink , and it wasn't that crowded , while we watched the bartender gabbing with costumers , I ordered a French Bordeaux, it was served warm , I may sound like a prude but when they charge $20 a grass it should be done right, it a nice place and I will return but just saying.“
“I am so happy that Delonte has opened a location at the Eustis Market!! He offers so many varieties of drinks (Coffee, Lattes, Refreshers, Smoothies, Teas) and food (Pastries, Breakfast Sandwiches, Sweet& Savory Crepes) all with a smile! I chose to go with a February special the strawberry and creme refresher with coconut and it was just the right amount of sweetness, versus the overly sweet Pink Drink at Starbucks. After my experience today, I do not think you will be disappointed with anything you choose, and highly recommend stopping by!“
“Do not try any other pizza place in the Mt. Dora area, seriously. We tried a popular place in Mt Dora that had good reviews and has been around for a while, it was terrible. Everything about the pizza at Shadrach’s is the real deal- crust, cheese, and sauce. Great service and nice outdoor dining area (pet friendly for those with furry friends). Give them a try, you won’t regret it.“
“I honestly was not expecting That Place to be as incredible as it was. It was relaxed and fun, and has some of the best burgers I've ever eaten. I'm not kidding. I have had burgers at almost every restaurant in the tri-city area. I was floored. My friends got a margarita flatbread and a surf and turf burger. Everyone went home happy. As a rainbow-flavored young person with young-people friends, I was not expecting the enthusiastic welcome we received. We all had a wonderful time and want to come back for karaoke on Saturdays.Parking: That Place shares a building with a Thai restaurant. If you come from the Thai side, there's more parking and signage around back.“
“Great food and excellent service! My wife and I had such a lovely experience here with delicious pasta, pizza, AND desserts. Avery was our server and handled our stubborn requests gracefully, thank you!Highly recommended if ever in the area.“
“The pizza we ordered was so good and the staff was super friendly even though our waitress doubled as the bartender since we were seated in the bar area. She was awesome! The manager had to come over since the cook misread our pizza order and treated us with cocktails. It was one pie that was halved with different menu specials... but no worries, we were fine. It was all so delicious. We really enjoyed our first time in Mt. Dora.“
“Cool little place with great service and good prices. In-house brewed beer with enough variation to please the whole group and then some; try their flights if you've never been there before to sample up to four different drinks. They set up their back room with shuffle board, darts, and Foosball. Best part of our visit is they had a 1930s speakeasy theme the night we stopped in, the staff and most patrons dressed the part really well!“
“We ate dinner there for the first time. It was ok. Not anything to write home about. We tried their lasagna, and quite honestly, I have had better. The salad was really good, which came with the meal along with garlic bread. For an appetizer, we had fried pepperoni. It was excellent. For desert, we had what was called cheeze Cake Factory chocolate cheeze cake. I have been to the Cheeze Factory, and this was not from there. The portion was very small compared to cheeze Cake Factory. If we go there again, we try their pizza.“
“I love this spot in Mount Dora, every time my husband and I visit, we look forward to going.Their authentic food selection and true British aesthetic makes you feel transported to a small pub in London. The staff are so friendly! The traditional British breakfast is my favorite ❤️“
“This is the absolute best thing smoking, literally ?I'm trying to figure out what I love the most about this place. Is it the food or Ms. Tennessee AKA Amanda? She is the the reason I refused to leave town until eating here. When we 1st walked in we had just eaten lunch elsewhere and simply window shopping but after chatting with Amanda and the samples she gave us, my husband started working on extending our BNB reservation for an extra day. He knew I wasn't going no where without coming back here 1st and its a decision neither one of us regret making. 5* for everything. THE VIVE; ENERGY; CUSTOMER SERVICE; FOOD; AND REAL DEAL SWEET TEA“
“It's heavenly! You need to be rich to survive a visit if you're hungry.. This place is amazing! They take everything yummy and delicious and put it for sale in baked goodies!! The little girl in me wanted to squeel with delight!ask for a Fat mans misery tart.., Or a peanut butter cookie.Anything you choose is going to be so awesome. The scenery is pretty nice too. If you're up for a drive to the lake park.☺️?Dietary restrictions: Gluten freeWheelchair accessibility: Yes, it's handicapped accessible“
“The mall that refused to die! This place has tenacity! The " anchor" stores(very loose interpretation) are Blech,Petsmart and Booksamillion. This mall is where Spirit Halloween sets up annualy. So you'd think, undead zombie all should garner, what;say a 2 star review at best?Well,ok;I get that...BUT....This little mall that try's desperately to cling on routinely has little pop up events, tries new tactics, opens it doors to small business ventures without turning itself into a flea market. It allows would be entrepreneurs to take a shot at business ownership. In that, you can find some very unique offerings and experiences(the barber shop is always abuzz).Right now there's several new businesses selling lots of hand made this and that's.The property is vastly outdated(and not in any nostalgic kind of way)but you know,I say kudos!Kudos for refusing to die on the vine.Kudos for thinking outside the box with continued re-imagination.So if you're local-ish and just want to get out of the house to someplace in a controlled weather environment that's not insanely loud or crowded, with ample and easy parking,Lake Square Mall might be for you.I'm writing this while sitting in OMG Coffee's huge cafe.Great vibes here by the way!“
“The crabcakes were exceptionally delectable, showcasing the culinary prowess of the establishment. Despite the warmth of the Florida weather, the dining experience was elevated by attentive service from our waitress. The barbecue sandwich served on a biscuit was a highlight, its enticing aroma captivating me from the moment it began cooking at 5 PM. A testament to the restaurant's commitment to excellence in both cuisine and service.“
“Super cool place, we get there by jt ski, docked up, cool lid back southern vibe. good live music, server was great, very attentive, food was great, bun was not fresh that was the only thing we didn't like, everything was great, next time I will tell them to toast the bun - LOL. Will definitely be back. Great looking menu.“
“This is genuinely the best sonic I’ve ever been too. I’m so used to waiting 20+ minutes at other sonics but with this one it took only 2minutes. The employees that took care of us were Anika and Kelab. My friends and I are very amazed and cannot stop talking about it lol. For real the best service we have ever gotten at a “
