“ordered the pot roast dinner and while I was waiting I checked some of the reviews to see why it wasn't busier on a Fri nite at 8pm.My order came out before i could read very many. It could have been hotter but it was nice and warm. Right size portion. Had room for Pecan Pie. 5 stars for the pecan pie. nothing for me to complain about. it was actually nice to sit and eat without a lot of loud noise.“
“My friend whose been here before suggested that we go for our girl’s night out. I’m hlad we did. What a fun atmosphere and the owner is wonderful and conversational.The food choices are good ol back in the day comfort faborites. Turkey Tetrazinni, Shepherds pie, Chicken corfon blue, stuffed sweet peppers .Alot of the dishes if not all are made to order. I had the chicken enchiladas and my friend had the stuffed peppers. Both excellent plates. They had 3 featured wines that evening. The owner suggested the most affordable one( could have been the opposite) It was excellent and they had a special, second bottle 1/2 off if we wanted.A great visit, I really enjoyed the meal, atmosphere and my company. We were able to stay past closing and chat while they were cleaning. This is a very popular restaurant. Not sure if its wise to go without a reservation, They open at 4:30 and last seating is 8 pm .“
