“Unique! I wish there were more like it actually, but I'm glad to have found this gem. I give 4 stars because of the missing miso soup... Overall a 5-star place (although I've only been through the drive-thru, never inside) and just one menu item lacking is picky, I'll admit. But it's miso soup, so simple, so classic, how can you not have miso soup?! It's like a burger restaurant not having fries. Please bring back miso!“

“You can 5 light here for under 20 per person, but I recommend 50 per person, so you can try a decent chunk of the menu.
I also recommend making the reservation for the Kappo bar, they took amazing care of my spouse and I for our anniversary.
Almost 3 years of eating here and the menu is always updating with new dishes to try! The meat and fish are fresh and so delicious!! Also, the liquor selection and dri k menu is superb. There is no other restaurant like it and nowhere else will give you the same flavors, quality, and ambiance of a Japanese restaurant.
PS: if you like Godzilla, you should come here~“

“? Ambience, Service, and Food - Wonderful! ?
I decided to grab dinner here prior to attending an event at the Dr. Phillips Center about ten minutes away. There was a 15-20 minute wait before I was notified that my table was ready. The interior is small and intimate with a lovely ambience. Staff were all very friendly and answered all my questions. The food tasted wonderful, and the gyoza was among the best I’ve ever had. If you plan on eating here for dinner on the weekend, I recommend giving yourself plenty of buffer time—both for parking and service.
Did I mention the desserts? I got one of each (mochi and hojicha panda cotta) and both were scrape-up-every-bite good!“

“Was incredible. The cheezus is a must. The spice from the bomb that was added into my Ramen made it just right for me(if you enjoy spicy) The shishito peppers accompanied the ramen perfectly. Our server Brandon was amazing and attentive, fun guy! All around, I highly recommend this place.“

“We’ve always ordered food to go from Totoya but we’ve never ate inside the restaurant until today, and the food, atmosphere and service was all just such an INCREDIBLE experience.
The atmosphere was amazing and we thought it was such a cute place, the playlist/music they had going was some of our favorite songs all playing back to back, and Royce was hands down the best, BEST server in the history of any dining experience I’ve ever had.
Royce was so sweet, warm, welcoming, attentive, such a fun and delightful person to chat with and really made us excited about our food, and just phenomenal customer service in every way possible; we can’t say enough good things about him and he is by far what made our dine in experience exceptional! Next time we dine in we definitely want to see if we can be seated at one of his tables again lol.
We haven’t felt that warmly welcomed at a restaurant in so long and that experience alone will definitely have us dine in vs taking food to go from Totoya.
AMAZING experience, will 1,000% come back.“

“10/10! The Berkwood St Louis Sticky Ribs were fall-off-the-bone tender and so flavorful that we found ourselves talking about them for days. The Hamachi Carpaccio was another standout, with the ponzu sauce and kefir lime oil perfectly complementing the yellowtail. We also enjoyed the Garlic Togarashi Edamame and Shrimp Tempura. I loved the Bee My Honey cocktail—it had just the right amount of sweetness for my taste. My fiancé ordered the Kabooki Old Fashioned and liked the mix of ginger syrup and cherry bark vanilla bitters.
The restaurant itself has a contemporary vibe, with low lighting and an intimate atmosphere. The service was great, and we’ll definitely be returning.“
“Dining at Sorekara was nothing short of extraordinary. From the very first bite to the last subtle detail, every element of the meal was executed with remarkable precision and heart. This wasn't just dinner, it was a beautifully orchestrated experience that left a lasting impression.
My husband and I were there celebrating our 23rd wedding anniversary, and it could not have been a more perfect place to mark the occasion.
The food was simply incredible. Each course was meticulously crafted, showcasing deep respect for ingredients and a brilliant sense of balance and creativity. It was evident that every dish was the result of passion and mastery in the kitchen.
The staff played a huge role in making the night unforgettable. Chef Will's vision shines through every plate, and Pastry Chef Francesco's desserts were an elegant finale that matched the meal's high standard. Sommelier Jason helped us select the perfect sake to accompany the meal, Tracy, Austin, Eugene, and Josue were all warm, professional, and knowledgeable, striking the perfect balance of attentiveness without ever feeling intrusive.
A special mention goes to Uni, the chef’s dog, who added a charming and unexpected personal touch to the evening. It’s rare to find a place where every detail, from the food to the people to the atmosphere, feels so deeply considered and genuine.
Sorekara is more than just a restaurant, it’s an experience.“

“I was excited for the all of you can eat based off of the other reviews but the place we went to didn't have it and they were out of tuna. There were also only two servers in the whole place so the service was a bit slow but they were nice and the food was amazing. We got the pork gyoza, veggie spring rolls, crunch roll, super Philadelphia roll, and salmon nigiri.“

“After 15 years living in Japan, this ramen sure tastes really good. Every time I came I really liked it. The starters are simply delicious. Their thaitea is wonderful. Continue as you are. And success. My daughter also loves this place. Very good?. I've been to this place 7 times and my statement above is true. But after today I leave a warning to the owner. Thursday 8pm. Only 1 waiter, and 2 children lost in the kitchen. The ramen taste totally different, no flavor, the fried rice ? horrible. Today's review 1 star.“

“Their food taste pretty good we’ve been coming for awhile. The quality is starting to seem very different from what it used to taste like & prices have increased. You used to be able to have soup & salad with some orders, now it’s either or and the price increased. My wife & I usually buy extra ramen noodles on the side for our meals they are $5 or less I believe, they taste pretty good.“

“Ate here for the first time and the food was amazing! I’d never had tonkatsu before so I was pretty excited, I ordered the cheese tonkatsu. Everything was hot and fresh and had really good flavors! The breading was super crispy and the cheese pull was impressive. The portion was fair for the price, id definitely come back to try some of the other menu items.“

“Without a doubt one of the tastiest foods in the Outlet.
We ordered yakisoba, chicken in orange sauce, a fried banana with sugar and sweet tooth, everything was impeccable, so much so that we even went back to eat there a few times.
One of the few places where we received super good service, if I could I would give it a thousand marks“

“We went to TORI TORI for the first time last weekend. The food and drinks were amazing, but I can’t give the restaurant more than 4 stars. The way the place works is a bit different: you find your own seat, then go to the bar to order both your food and drinks. After that, you can either stay at the bar or go back to your table. We tried the blue crab dip, crab croquette, crab rice, scallop crudo, beef skewers, tomato skewers, scallion and cheese pepper skewers ~ all of them were delicious. The drinks were also really good. They have food runners who bring the food to you, but you still have to go order everything yourself at the bar. The mix of self-service and table service was interesting, but I didn’t love having to wait in line to order and still being expected to tip over 20% (which we did). The bartenders (ours was Thanathep) were very busy, which made sense since it was a Sunday night. I really enjoyed the food and drinks, but because of the service style, I’d give it 4 stars.“

“It’s very solid takeout Japanese (which is kinda rare to see). The price is a bit high for the portion size compared to similar places.
Vegetarian options: There’s not a lot besides stir fried veggies.
Parking: Lot right outside.“

“A nice little express sushi. Very friendly staff. Great customer service. Fish was okay by the local standards and the price was right. They made the orders quick. Have a feeling some components were prepared in advance. Tasted good though. Not a place for a real sushi head, per se, but not bad either. It's like sushi fast food. Without the conveyor belt. Thus the name. We enjoyed it. Recommended.“

“We went to celebrate our anniversary. This is much more than just dinner, this is a dining experience. From the moment we walked in, the service was phenomenal. There was a keen attention to detail. The food was fantastic, and there was so much of it! We enjoyed the Journey, adding the wine pairing, non-alcoholic pairing, crown melon and wagyu upgrade. The Magic Box was an amazing way to round out the experience.“
