“Food was fantastic. Staff is friendly. I gave it a 4 star only because it was so expensive! I asked for lean brisket and saw on my bill, after I sat down, that there was a 2.00 upcharge for lean but it wasn't that lean. I'll still go back because it was so good!“
“Our daughter and family moved to Florida last year. If they hadn't, we would never have discovered Bob's! Now we plan our trips to and from Florida by making sure we stop by Bob's around lunchtime! We've lived all around the U.S. and had barbecue everywhere. This is the best we've had! When you get out of your car, you'll smell the delicious, smoky BBQ scent! All food is preparedwhen ordered, so expect to wait. We've had BBQ chicken and pork ribs. Both are tender, juicy and extremely flavorful. There was a lot of meat on the bones. Sides we've had: baked beans, potato salad, cole slaw, collards, mac and cheese, and green beans. All were very good, and many were zesty. We got sauce on the side. Love my mustard sauce! To me, it's a little spicy but Bob's calls it Mild. The spicy sauce is appropriately spicy. Everything we've had we would have again! And we will, next trip to Florida! Be aware, they do sell out sometimes and then they'll close for the day.Parking: Bob's is next door to Florida Citrus Center, exit 373.“
“It was outstanding! Hands down the best bbq in Northeast Florida we've had since moving here many years ago!We got ribs, 1/4 chicken, and pulled pork. Beautiful bark, very tender, and perfectly cooked. Sauce comes on the side and it was good but honestly, the rub they use is so flavorful, you don't even need sauce. I can't wait to be hungry again so I can come back!“
“I came across this place while visiting Amelia Island. The service was excellent! I ordered the Captain's Platter. I chose bbq ribs, pork belly, macaroni and cheese and baked beans. Everything was seasoned to perfection. The portions were generous. I couldn't finish it all. They had a variety of bbq sauces... each one very good (although the ribs didn't need any). I would definitely recommend! My new go-to on Amelia Island.Sorry no pics, I dug in so quickly, I forgot!“
“Not only do they have the best ribs in all of Jacksonville, they also have some of the best music playing while you’re waiting for your food. 10/10 fall off the BONE ribs, their coleslaw is also amazing, their baked beans have a unique spice to them. Their collard greens (Saturday only) are some of the best I’ve had as well. A MUST TRY of the Jacksonville area. FYI it’s takeout unless you want to sit outside but totally worth it. I usually can’t make it out or the parking lot before digging in.Don’t sleep on the boiled peanut stand next door either.“
