“This place was suggested by the Quality inn clerk. We were tickled to find the most welcoming atmosphere. Mr Pinkard was sitting with some other customers just talking when we came in. Other customers started talking to us when Mr Pinkard got up to play as a waiter. Very humble and yet a state representative was there eating at the same time. We wouldn't have known if he hadn't introduced himself. Very filling and prices you don't find anywhere else. This place was a treasure find. We'll be returning to get some lunch.Parking: When the place is busy, park across the road.“
“We were on our way back to Chattanooga, we wanted something hot.... no fast food. So me and my wife and the stopped. Surprisingly to be in the location we were in the experience went totally different than we expected. Food, service and atmosphere was totally pleasant. We ate got back on the road and got home..... The cook and our waitress were the best!!“
“Beautiful property with lots of fun outdoor activities available. We enjoyed our visit. The historic gardens and ruins are worth exploring, especially with all the spring trees and flowers in bloom. The ATV's were pricey, but a great time. The shooting facility was excellent. Golf course was nice but was too crowded and we had to wait so long between holes, we quit after 9 holes. I felt nickled and dimed with each activity as you are charged a service fee and credit card processing fee. I think the food could most definitely be improved - the offerings were slim, quality and service was sub-par, especially for the price. We were here for a week. Eating at the Woodland Grill every day got boring as the options didn't change and there was not enough variety. I felt that the food was overpriced for what you received. Though not busy, service was not attentive, and they add on 20% gratuity. I didn't realize this and added another 25% tip. If I am charged $50 for a filet and then charged for the bread and each side. I think charging for bread is unnecessary. I will pay $100 for a steak, bread and couple of sides and non alcoholic drink, but the food should be topnotch in addition to the service and it was not. Disappointing. The beer garden had just opened - brisket was dry and overcooked, wings had way too much liquid smoke, pork BBQ was just okay. No sides available. It is a nice resort and certainly worth visiting...“
“I got to dine here twice in 24 hours as this restaurant has dinner and breakfast. We went to the resort for a friend's birthday and enjoyed the service provided to us. The waitresses in the evening and morning times were very friendly and accommodating. The food wasn't as flavorful as I hoped but we were happy with most of the dishes. They even took back the pasta dish and remade it with alfredo sauce for one of my friends. The oysters were probably my favorite dish for the evening. They tasted so fresh.“

“That was the first time I had been to Yellow Jacket in close to 60 years. The food was very good. I had a double cheeseburger and it was about double of what I should have ordered. The patties were fresh patted and very good.The food was served fast, hot, and just like I ordered it. Every employee we met was friendly and nice.I don't plan to wait another 60 years before going back.“
“Incredible! Have driven past Calhoun 100s of times. Never stopped. From now on it will be a destination. Dubs is the best ribs we have ever eaten. Fall off the bone, moist and seasoned to perfection. Don't really need the delicious sauce. Service was excellent.“

“So many words I could say about water Tower grille but what I will say is there the most professional establishment I have eaten at in a long time and has some of the best food and drinks of course! MJ and his wife are wonderful parents an amazing individuals! Their professionalism really shows what their future holds for their family and for their restaurant! I would absolutely recommend anyone to eat there!“
