California Pizza Kitchen was a pizza restaurant that I learned about for the first time upon the recommendation of my wife in Los Angeles. It was so beautiful that its taste lingered in my palate. I always eat it whenever I come to America. My favorite pizza is wild mushroom and barbecue chicken. Sometimes we do both half and half. That's what happened this time too. Went last night and service was bad but blame most on the manager. She just stood there not helping out on the line to supporting her server that was in the weeds. 20 minutes to get water and our salads sat on the line for 30 minutes and took us 2 hrs to get through the entire service. Salads came after our pizza, no refills on drinks, had to ask for plates once we got our pizzas and waited a long time as our pizza got cold. Very slow service for a Saturday. Waited at least 30+ minutes for our pizza. When it came, it was cold. We let our server know and he brought us a new pizza within 3 minutes that was hot. Funny how the service improves when you complain…!!!
