Madras Chettinaad Reviews
This restaurant catered my daughter's wedding at the end of June this year. Multiple events where everyone was very impressed with the choices of both vegetarian and non vegetarian dishes..I have not heard a single complaint, and everyone feasted on the variety. Many thanks to the team who ensured the guests always had enough food to find on and for ensuring the quality of food and service was second to none. Highly recommend this restaurant. Well done and thank you!

Madras Chettinaad is a welcoming Indian restaurant in Alpharetta that offers a mixed bag dining experience. The food quality varies, with standout dishes like fish chettinad and idly chat receiving praise, while the roti and goat chettinad are noted as average. The restaurant is particularly famous for its lunch buffets, providing a great value and a chance to try a little of everything, with a vast selection of vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes. Additionally, the buffet includes a non-alcoholic beverage and chai, while paan is available on weekends at an added cost.
The atmosphere is comfortable and family-friendly, making it suitable for groups. The service has been described as prompt and efficient, with courteous and friendly staff ensuring a smooth experience. Though it’s operated by a Punjabi owner, the kitchen team delivers authentic South Indian flavors, and the dining area is tidy and well-maintained. While desserts are simple, the main dishes shine, particularly with the fragrant rice preparations that are well-seasoned and not oily.
Recently, Madras Chettinaad catered a wedding, impressing guests with the quality of food and service. Overall, Madras Chettinaad provides a diverse culinary experience, with both hits and misses, but remains a recommended option for anyone craving authentic Indian cuisine, ideal for families, friends, or large groups.
