“I drove from Chattanooga once a month to attend graduate classes at the local university! I ate here for lunch and it was delicious!! It is hard to find good barbecue in North GA. I had the chicken plate with baked beans and okra!! Their Brunswick stew was also AMAZING!!“
“You want your Great Grand-Mother's and Grand-Mother's cooking? This is the place. If from Atlanta, this place is reminiscent of Mary Mac's in Atlanta when the Lupo family owned the restaurant back in the '60's and '70's regarding the food savoriness and taste. We had fried chicken, collard greens, green beans, mashed potatoes with gravy, mac & cheese, dressing, cranberry, pecan pie, like Momma used to make! and some of the best sweet in the South.Cafeteria self served style, come early, or, don't complain about the offerings. but most delicious!Ignore the decor, its a basic cafeteria of sorts, that's not what you came here for! It's the food!“
