“My favourite out of a bucket full of great restaurants in Athens. It's a counter top order but someone delivers your meal in quick time and hot. But the food is why you come here. Southern through and through. There is not a thing on the menu I wouldn't bring home for dinner or just can't wait and order in. We ordered Christmas dinner from the Preacher and everyone said AMEN! The fried chicken is mouthwatering juicy good. The Pot Roast is just like your grandmother cooked it for hours. The Collard Greens, sweet potatoes, black eyed peas are scrumptious. Just go there. It's terrific.”

Cole, our waiter, was so nice and took great care of us during our dining experience. Can’t say enough good things about the food! My filet was not only a great value but exceptional w/ asparagus & fingerling potatoes. My wife’s salmon was amazing too. It had been a long time since we had last dined here and kind of had overlooked it as a dining option but we are already looking forward to a return visit and hope to share with some friends so they too can enjoy this hidden gem. “We were blown away by Indigo Road Hospital Group's latest creation Osteria Olio in the Rivet House in Athens Ga. Brenda and I were staying at the Rivet House to attend the Georgia Tennessee game and ended up eating dinner and brunch at Osteria every night and day. Steve Palmer who we met there has hit a home run with Osteria Olio a 5 star gourmet dining experience. AJ is the star host/manager who gave us a great table every time, the food was delicious including bone in New York Strip for me and the Spaghetti Alla Bolognese for Brenda. My steak and eggs at breakfast was the best I ever had in my life. The Martinis were perfectly mixed by bartender Graham. The vibe at dinner was subdued elegance with stunning well dressed customers all feeling blessed to be dining in a such a beautiful built-out space. Thank you Indigo Road Hospitality for giving Athens Osteria Olio which has now joined the A-list of gourmet dining experiences in Athens.”

Parking: With the cost of hospital stays, there should be a way for those of us that can't stay overnight to not have to pay $4 every day in order to visit our hospitalized family.”

“The Krystal hamburger will always be the boom diggity....corn pups are awesome and maybe the chili cheese dog..but the prices that they charge now is ridiculous.we ordered 12 Krystals with cheese a couple drinks and 2 chips and it was over $40 ....there is no way I'm gonna pay that.....I understand everything has gone up but that's crazy. they don't have professional employees that are respectful and knowledgeable. we should be representative a lot better for the prices that they charge because that is ridiculous for just two people.

Vegetarian options: Prices are high for fast food so that a lot with you...

“I recently tried Paris Banh Mi and overall had a very positive experience. The Vietnamese sandwiches are good — especially the grilled fish banh mi; the baguette has a nice crunch and the fillings are flavorful. The bakery items and drinks are a strong plus too. People rave about their baked goods, croissants, and fruit/bubble teas.”

“It is Locos! It is consistent with what you would get at their establishments. I quite enjoy their burger. Decent deal and yes it really does appear to be from scratch.

Wings are hit and miss sometimes. I like them super crispy. Always ask and sometimes they still are too limp . They need to always provide more celery and why no carrots?

Need more local beer options from Athens and GA. Keep promoting. Also include some fancier drafts.

The vibe? Some wait staff are attentive and sweet. People who go can get chatty and loud. Usually though it is welcoming.

I miss the one by campus. Felt local and not as commercialized. That was long ago though.

“Tried to order the steak and ribs combo. Was told they were out of ribs. Got the steak and shrimp instead. My two sides were mashed potatoes and fries. Got 4 shrimp the size of quarters. And the sides also seemed very underportioned. Most restaurants I go to, I struggle to finish my plate. Here, I'm left still hungry. I feel they need to re-access their portion sizes and how four little shrimp can equate to a slab of ribs. While the quality is good, the quantity is questionable. I'll pay the extra price to leave full from Chophouse next door.”

“I've tried Caribou Coffee about 3x times now since moving to GA from Long Island, NY (where coffee is a big deal!!!) And this stuff is great! Everytime I go its delicious and the french toast sandwich is unmatched! The only downside is if you go during peak hours sat morning expect a line!!! To me its worth it if you have the time. Other than that, 10/10!”

I was a little worried about the parking. But the church across the street provided ample parking.
Friend and I met here for a friendly get-together the coffee was great. Although when we ordered our coffee we weren't asked if we wanted it hot or cold. So we received cold drinks when we wanted hot. But besides that everything was great. This is a great little spot everybody needs to try it at least once. I did not taste any of the goodies but they certainly looked good enough.”
