“Emmy Squared serves square, deep dish, Detroit style pizza. It probably is the best pizza place in Athens. The service was welcoming and prompt and the ambience is definitely above the norm for a pizza place - comfortable and more upscale feeling than most. The pizza is delicious, with fresh ingredients and has a caramelized, cheesy crust. They also serve other items that are good (mozzarella sticks, salads, etc.) that are above average but the pizza is the show.”

“Wonderful experience! If you enjoy trying unique, tasty, and beautiful food, then this is the place for you! My friend and I split the salmon crudo, mushroom rice paper pizza and the Viet crispy crepe. They asked if we had a reservation upon entering. We did not, but we were able to sit right down at the bar. The server at the bar was fantastic and helpful as we made choices. They accommodate food allergies, and mark things very well on the menu. Highly recommend for those with Celiac disease. So good! Will go back for sure!”

Parking: With the cost of hospital stays, there should be a way for those of us that can't stay overnight to not have to pay $4 every day in order to visit our hospitalized family.”

“I have been to Whataburger a few times, and the people who work here are wonderful. It’s rare to experience good customer service in fast food restaurants these days, but it’s like they took the heart of Texas and brought it with them. And it’s also rare to get freebies from any fast food restaurants unless you have accrued several points. But this morning Rod blessed me with a free honey butter chicken biscuit as part of their free breakfast promotion and he blessed me with his kindness. I hope whataburger stays in Athens for years to come. Thank you!”

“The Krystal hamburger will always be the boom diggity....corn pups are awesome and maybe the chili cheese dog..but the prices that they charge now is ridiculous.we ordered 12 Krystals with cheese a couple drinks and 2 chips and it was over $40 ....there is no way I'm gonna pay that.....I understand everything has gone up but that's crazy. they don't have professional employees that are respectful and knowledgeable. we should be representative a lot better for the prices that they charge because that is ridiculous for just two people.

Vegetarian options: Prices are high for fast food so that a lot with you...

“My favourite out of a bucket full of great restaurants in Athens. It's a counter top order but someone delivers your meal in quick time and hot. But the food is why you come here. Southern through and through. There is not a thing on the menu I wouldn't bring home for dinner or just can't wait and order in. We ordered Christmas dinner from the Preacher and everyone said AMEN! The fried chicken is mouthwatering juicy good. The Pot Roast is just like your grandmother cooked it for hours. The Collard Greens, sweet potatoes, black eyed peas are scrumptious. Just go there. It's terrific.”

Need more local beer options from Athens and GA. Keep promoting. Also include some fancier drafts.

The vibe? Some wait staff are attentive and sweet. People who go can get chatty and loud. Usually though it is welcoming.

I miss the one by campus. Felt local and not as commercialized. That was long ago though.

“I just want to share this with everyone who eats at this place. Yesterday me and My wife ordered our normal chicken tacos like we always get on Tuesday's. I noticed the salsa had a slightly different taste to it. So later that night I woke up around 3 am with chills sweating profusely all over. I've literally been sick all day from this food poisoning. My wife didnt eat no salsa and she was fine. I love this place and I've never had an issue until last night. So take it for what it's worth and be careful is all I can say.”

And the sides also seemed very underportioned. Most restaurants I go to, I struggle to finish my plate. Here, I'm left still hungry. I feel they need to re-access their portion sizes and how four little shrimp can equate to a slab of ribs. While the quality is good, the quantity is questionable. I'll pay the extra price to leave full from Chophouse next door.”

“It was okay. Not the best coffee but certainly not the worst. Parking is atrocious. Why build something here if you've got no parking. I had to walk two blocks to try this place. Also, seating arrangements is a little weird. It doesn't feel cozy. It feels cramped”
