“Had the best Sunday brunch today. The food was crazy delicious, our server, Chandler was awesome, best brunch cocktails we’ve had in a long time. This place hits all the marks! Can’t wait to go back next time we’re in town! “Great ambience, especially for a Sunday afternoon. Seated right away. Food was good but the grits are a very small serving. The omelet was tasty and overall pleasant. Nice brunch or date spot. Go for the setting, moderate price point, and the food is decent.“
“They actually have multiple mocktail options for those who don’t drink alcohol (such as myself). I really appreciate this, as The Old Pal is a cozy place I like to go to with my friends after rehearsal. Please keep making new mocktails! They are much appreciated.“
“Was highly recommended so thought we’d give it a try. My husband and I showed up 10 minutes after opening (5:10). Upon entering we made our way to the bar (which was open) and was quickly approached by the host explaining that the bar was full from reservations and if we wanted to stay we would have be be gone by 6:15. Definitely need a more professional way to address new guests but we decided to stay anyways and glad we did because Romie was FANTASTIC! She definitely made up for it! 4 bourbon cocktails, 2 glasses of wine, an appetizer, 3 entrees (because we needed to try the risotto) and a dessert and our bill was $200. Money well spent! Thank you Romie for an awesome experience and service. We’ll definitely be back! Parking and greeting was the only reason for the 4 stars!“

“What a fabulous find! One of the best restaurants we have been to in a long time. The brunch menu was amazing- we had a party of 8 but ordered 12 meals so we could all try different things because everything sounded so good and everything was excellent.Wheelchair accessibility: Father has mobility issues and uses a walker - tables were well spaced for easy access. Handicap parking could not be any closer and entry way grade level.“
“Very cute new wine bar in Five Points! The interior is cozy and well decorated, with plenty of tables available and some couches by the window. I got the Hugo Spritz, and my boyfriend got the Barbarossa. Both cocktails were great-- mine was light and refreshing, not overly sweet. This is definitely on the pricier side-- drinks were around $15 each. Service was excellent and quick! You order at the bar and then they bring everything out to you. Definitely recommend this place, great for a date night or any kind of a get together.“
“Cool little Indie film cinema. Great drinks and coffee. Staff is super friendly and the popcorn with rings of toppings and the sodas are a great deal. Old school seating in two theaters with cult classics, independent films and just quirky movies in general. Great ambiance in a renovated historical building that used to be a tire shop I believe.“
“This is hands down one of the best restaurants in town. As we have been eating our way through the menu, we discovered absolutely great dishes. From the Korean Cauliflower to the BBQ rib nachos, American bowl with tempura chicken..and the best tea in town..all superb. “Manhattan is a fine spot for a drink before a show in downtown Athens. We stopped for a quick drink and enjoyed some hot selections from their holiday menu on their patio- mulled wine for her and spiked ginger tea for me. We followed that up with a couple Lone Stars, a nice touch for these two Texans. A bit of a dull interior on the inside, but probably a nice spot for conversation, with a few added touches that take this spot past a normal, scuzzy dive bar.“

“Emily took such good care of us! She had liquor recommendations for us for every drink I was trying to describe. I was honestly clueless, but she helped me find drinks that I was beyond satisfied with! Would highly recommend! Mason and K.P. Were also incredible! The customer service here is definitely beyond what I had expected. The employees were more than willing to help with whatever I had a questions with. The atmosphere here was also very chill yet energetic! Definitely suited for whatever occasion you might have planned.“
“My husband and I met with some friends here recently for dinner. We overall enjoyed the oysters we ordered. Was very fresh and tasted fantastic. Other dishes we had were the fish sandwich, Tybee shrimp and grits, and I believe some kind of fried rice that one of our friend ordered. The restaurant reminds my husband and I of some of the foods we had while in St. Simons which was very pleasant for us. That how fresh we felt the seafoods was. Next time we’re in Athen we will for sure stop by again.“
