I’m surprised a quick FICO score check isn’t required before payment. $50 incl a 20% tip for two burgers (no premium toppings btw), 1 fry, and two drinks is WILD. If I’m paying for high cholesterol and heart disease, I can do that more cost-effectively elsewhere.“
“It still as good as it's ever been. Tacos generally run between 2:50 or 350 each. I'll pastor is still the best meat on the menu. I love everything about this place, I only wish they sold meat by the pound to go.When you think "gas station taqueria" the bar is already pretty low, but Juaritos gets all the stars for excelling in its tight space with a short menu of excellent options. On my last visit I tried the al pastor, chicken, buche (stomach), and lengua (tongue) tacos. All were good, but the al pastor especially so. Additional food items are available on the weekends. There is also a topping bar of fresh onion, cilantro, two kinds of pickled onion, and three sauces. We got ten tacos for about $18. I would hesitate to bring very small kids here, and seating is tight anyway, but we managed with our litter of three and everyone was happy. I will definitely be back.“
“This is hands down one of the best restaurants in town. As we have been eating our way through the menu, we discovered absolutely great dishes. From the Korean Cauliflower to the BBQ rib nachos, American bowl with tempura chicken..and the best tea in town..all superb. “The best Barbs there is! I’ve been here at their busiest on game days, their slowest during the summer, and times in between. The quality of food and service does not waver. Of the Athens locations, this is by far the best. The Barnett Shoals location couple learn a thing or two from this location.“
“Their welcoming team was excellent. After a terrible experience at the restaurant next door we went here with 12 girl volleyball team and 14 parents. Even though we had no reservations they expedited clearing some tables and set all of us up for lunch in 10 minutes.Food was very good and great drinks for the parents. We all had a great experience. The servers did very good job handling such a large group and gave us all separate checks.“
“This is the place to get real Mexican food in Athens. The Tacos are so Good that I had to put out this review. I have eaten here twice in the last week and will probably do it next week to. Tacos are big and delicious the burritos look big to I saw some other customers plates to and it all looks good. Have to come out and check out this place.
