“Really good coffee! They sometimes have a stand at the Lamar Dodd school of art and it is always good there! I have tried some at the farmers market too and it is great! The employees are always friendly and kind 10/10 recommend.Vegetarian options: easy to find something!Dietary restrictions: easy to get no milk“
“Today I decided to look for a local coffee shop and came across this adorable place. The story of why this place even exists was enough for me to come check it out! If you don’t know - go to the about section on the website! ?The inside was super cute and the coffee was really good! Definitely check it out - I got a hot caramel hazelnut latte“
“Friendly service and delicious burgers / fries! I took a star off because the pricing is absolutely absurd. I’m surprised a quick FICO score check isn’t required before payment. $50 incl a 20% tip for two burgers (no premium toppings btw), 1 fry, and two drinks is WILD. If I’m paying for high cholesterol and heart disease, I can do that more cost-effectively elsewhere.“
“Super friendly staff. Very knowledgeable and willing to help and go the extra mile. Food always looks great. Drinks always taste great. Good place for a chill atmosphere and welcoming vibe. With indoor and outdoor seating you can't go wrong.“
“Just great and so happy we found this gem in Athens. There are not a lot of 'nice' places to eat in the downtown area, but this was a very pleasant surprise. We had a few drinks, ate the whole left side of the menu, and had all three of the dessert options from that night and loved all of it. Seating at the bar was nice, and the service was quick, friendly, and informative. If we're ever back in the area, I'll certainly go back here.“
“I've been coming here since they opened here and I love it! My go to is always the iced caramel latte, I haven't had a latte from anywhere else that gives me the energy I need (no lie). There's one worker, I wish I could remember her name(wears glasses), she gave me a recommendation and it was delicious as well as energizing. I also love their bagels, my go to is an Asiago with egg and cheese. You can also rack up points with every purchase and they have an app you can order ahead. Highly recommend!“
“One of the best iced matcha lattes I've ever had. Inside is very aesthetic and a lot of students come to study. Not sure if there is a lot of parking available but I am definitely interested in coming back again. The employees were really polite and knowledgeable.“
“Shout out to the Homies! Super excited for Sips to be roasting their own beans. Had the CostaRican drip with an ounce of honey and it was excellent. No bitterness, nutty and really opened up some nice melon fruit flavors with a little sweetness. Keep up the hard work and good vibes y’all.Dietary restrictions: They have gluten free options“
“My third time here and I’m never disappointed!! Cozy, warm atmosphere both inside or outside. Here on a rainy Friday at 5:30, having a coffee and a delicious gluten-free almond apricot tart in a candle-lit booth while I do some work on my computer.“
“My friend and I have been visiting every cafe in Athens to determine what is the best weekend study spot. Molly's Coffee Company is our favorite so far. I loved the pleasing atmosphere and decor. It is light in color and calming. I appreciate the plants and lighting. The cafe is quiet and has many tables for studying. They even have some charging for laptops, phones, iPads etc if you sit in a booth. We went on a Sunday in the late afternoon and the cafe was quite busy, but calm and we were able to get a table. I had the chai and the raspberry chocolate scone. Most people were studying or working in the cafe so the atmosphere was not distracting. They also have outside tables for when the weather is nice. I also like that the cafe is in a quieter part of town so it doesn't feel hectic. I hope to come back again!“
“Such a staple small businesses in Athens! Every Saturday they do slices of pizza bianca and my favorite are the slices with Romano and basil. The bread is super fresh and I actually was actually not too heavy and doughy. I only wish the ends weren't as crisp.“
“Starting off, the food was very good. I had a breakfast burrito with added sausage and it was killer. The portions were also pretty large which was good. We also had the pumpkin muffin which was also very good. The service was good as well, we had to wait a little bit because she was on the phone but other than that she was very nice and even help us change an order we needed. The overall interior was very cute, a converted house to the restaurant. Had a great experience, only downside was the price. For two people we spent about 40 dollars, which is honestly fine for what we got.“
“Amazinggggg. We usually come here for coffees but the chocolates are great as well. I highly recommend a caramel latte. The flavor of the coffee itself is incredible but paired with their house made caramel just takes it over the top. You won’t find a better caramel latte in Athens.“
“Cozy, comfy space with lots of natural wood — which is what makes it so cozy. Friendly staff, nice outdoor seating area with dog bowls for the dogs. Only reason I didn’t give it. Five stars is the Wi-Fi sucks. Other than that it’s a nice spot.“
“The Holy Spirit is in this place. The people know and walk in their identity, in Christ. They take the Word of God seriously, as it should be taken. They see the world and it's worldly systems for what it is. The people are so loving , so kind , they really exhibit the Love of Christ. The Holy Spirit is in this place.“
“Will Walker is a moron. I am someone who checks out reviews of places when I’m from out of town, etc. this man left a review that the seating wasn’t good, too small - that is incorrect. Also, this reviewer didn’t have anything to drink or anything to eat… why would you review?I’m just trying to stand up for the Mom & Pop Coffee Shops out here. Shut up, Will.“
“My friends scheduled a coffee tasting for my birthday this month and it was such a fun group experience. One of their friendly and knowledgeable staff members guides your group through tasting several coffees without revealing what they are, and it's so fun to try to identify the notes with your friends. At the end they reveal what all the coffees were, and I found a new favorite coffee this way. Charlie even gave me a delicious jar of local Kuhlbee Honey as a birthday gift and I put it on everything now. After tasting, there are used books and local art to browse or buy while you enjoy a cup of your favorite - you won't feel rushed out the door. I will definitely be scheduling another tasting in the future, and I recommend this activity for any small group of coffee drinkers.“
“I have been going to the Baxter/alps location as of late due to the sbux boycott and while it was a transition for me, I’m so glad I did it! The team at this location consistently have been amazing and soooo personable each time as well! On top of the fact I made the transition to going to Jittery Joe’s, my wallet has been thanking me because their prices actually make sense and I don’t feel like I have to take out a second mortgage on my home. Thanks for being awesome!“
“Jittery Joe's on the East Side helped me get through the Pandemic. I went there every morning and chatted with Paul. It literally helped me stay sane during that time. I still go there pretty much every day and the espresso Paul makes is my favorite I've ever had. It's basically become a part of my routine. I can't recommend this place enough, especially early in the morning. Many thanks.“
“If you are looking for a good weekday study spot with a quiet atmosphere downtown this is the place. It has no loud or distracting music and most customers are there to work. Finally, its got strong coffee at Starbucks prices that tastes just as good.“
“So it's my new favorite coffee shop. I'm a crazy Dunkin' fanatic (...I know) so when I tried this place, it's my go to. Warm and friendly place, love the coffee and bagels. Also love they sizes they offer. My favorite drink that I actually crave is the Vanilla Chai latte (hot or cold) it's so good!“
“Beautiful and cozy place! The service is nice but very inattentive :/ I ordered an affogato and was given a lemon fog, then 20 minutes later finally got my affogato and it looked... half drank? There was basically no ice cream, just 2 shots of espresso. Other than that, their sandwiches are very tasty and the environment is ambient and beautifully decorated. Board games are plentiful and interesting.“
“It's starbucks. Very reliable. Best prices and coffee in downtown! This should not be the case but it is. @local is super expensive and tastes like water. Jittery joes is great everywhere except downtown athens, zombie coffee is gone and walkers only sells child sizes. This is the place for coffee in “
“Real kind crew working here. Ordered an item that they were out of and recommended me another similar item. Additionally, they offered to throw in a free pastry out of our kindness. Cashier was very friendly as well. Would give more stars if I could.“
“I had the grilled pork bánh mì and it was pretty good. It’s not traditional banh mí bread and it doesn’t have pate, but the pork was cooked really well. The inside of the place is really nice too and they sell a lot of asian snacks and drinks.“
