It’s hard for me to give five starts but to get four from me is equal to awesome!Food was wonderfully prepared, portioned of the sides were very large, the atmosphere was relaxing and the staff was nothing but so kind and attentive.The only downside is the price of the chicken for quantity did not feel proportional. This chicken restaurant is located in the Petro Express on North Avenue in Athens GA where the Hardee's used to be. The hot bar was very neat and had a variety of food items including chicken tenders and fish. Sides include mac and cheese, green beans, fried okra, and others. I can't speak for any of the sandwiches, but the fried chicken wasn't anything special--it's about the same as what you'd get at a Publix or Kroger deli; not 'bad', but not anything one would particularly go out his/her way for. I also can't speak to the quality of the sides--there wasn't much to pick from when I went (around lunchtime), and what they had (mashed potatoes and Mac & cheese) didn't look too appealing (looked sort of like what you'd find in the frozen food section).
