“My fellow traveler and I stopped by on our way home to Virginia. It was a long day of travel, delayed flights, we just wanted to sit down and chill. We didn’t expect much out of an airport restaurant… But we were both blown away. Our server, Tarvis, was charming, professional, knowledgeable, and exceptional. The BLT with bacon jam, and the rice pudding with cinnamon and peaches was superb. (I could’ve eaten a whole jar of the bacon jam.) “As my friend and I walked in, we were immediately greeted by Dominick and we were seated in a very plush chair. We could see the entire room from where we were seated. The patrons were of all ages (no children). The ambience is of modern flare compared to the old world Japanese style and house music vibes gave the restaurant superb energy. We had the Nice Pear and Kinjo cocktails. They were beautifully executed and not too sweet. A very nice combination of flavors and herbs. We shared the Shrimp Tempura which was lightly breaded (yay!) We also had the Uni and the Spicy Tuna roll, all filled with scrumptious flavors and well presented. To top this off, we ate the Lady M cake and it was to die for. Very light, crisp, and melts in your mouth. Throughout the evening, Dominick was very attentive and made sure our visit was an outstanding one. Our waitress (I apologize I forgot your name) was very knowledgeable with the menu and prompt on getting our orders out. Kudos to Dominick, the waitress, the chef, and the bartender!“

“This is one of the best Japanese restaurants I've experienced, alongside Sushi Yoko. While Sushi Yoko offers dishes closer to Japanese home cooking, this restaurant provides a more authentic dining experience. Although some menu items don't quite meet expectations, many dishes deliver what are likely the highest quality offerings in Atlanta, which justifies the premium pricing.“

“Umi was a nice upscale sushi restaurant. I enjoyed the atmosphere of the space and the food was realy good! My friend and I ordered the spicy tuna rice, yellow tail, spider role, and spicy tuna roll. First time trying yellow tail and it was nice and fresh. The spicy tuna roll had a nice kick to it! “This is a great place for a tasty lunch, and the service is really quick! I come here pretty often to get a poke bowl on my lunch break. They have a bunch of really good sauces but my favorite is the sriracha aioli to top the salmon and tuna. A little bit spicy combined with the sweetness from the mandarin oranges. Can't be beat.“

Was entertained with the dancer and the game was on so my husband was happy! I came in on a Sunday around 4:30. Small bites, finger food great portion sizes and tasty. “We've been making our way through Halidom Food Hall and tonight's new try was Wasabi Sushi & Ramen. It did not disappoint! All the dishes were beautifully presented. Unfortunately, we dug in before remembering to take pics, so please take that into account.

I had the steak hibachi and it was delicious - packed with steak and loads of mixed veggies. Salty, savory, sweet, soy goodness! Hubby and son split some California rolls and a tuna poke bowl, all were excellent. My son mentioned that the tuna bowl was loaded with fish. We also had some gyozas dumplings and they were super yummy too.

As for the price, it's a food hall, so let's be honest, they are never cheap. But considering the food and service were excellent, and I supported a family run business in my community - it was worth it and I'll be back.

“Love this restaurant. Fly to PDK ATLANTA every month. The plane lands at 11 and by noon I am sitting with family and friends enjoying one of my favorite restaurants. The serving staff is excellent. Food is always consistently great. I've seen other reviews complain about the prices but I find the prices consistent with other sushi restaurants but the food and service here far exceeds most. Best value, for highest quality freshest fish.

Vegetarian options: They make any vegetarian happy in our party everytime.

Parking: Always have parking, Walgreens always has space

“Let’s talk about EAV That & Sushi real quick. I’ve never really been a Thai food eater. I’ll eat it if that’s what the majority wants but I’ve never been the one to have to have it. Baby listen, EAV That & Sushi has me in a choke hold as the food is AMAZNG!!!! We were in the area as Shaunie said it is one of her favorite places to go, as such, we went. Walking in, the ambiance is really low key and has a great feel to it. It’s perfect for friends, dates, or even alone. After we walked in we were able to be seated immediately. Continuing to take in the ambiance, the feel was so chill. There was a game on each television and the music was playing in the background. Yep, I’m here for all of this. Upon taking our seats, I ordered a sweet tea and began to scroll the menu. Taking a moment to take in the menu as there are an abundance of options, I decided on the Spring Rolls as an Appetizer and Pad Thai as my Main Course. Clearly I played it safe. 😂😂😂 From seating us to taking out drink and food orders, our waiter was super nice. He was professional, very educated on the menu offerings and kept a smile the entire time. Not to mention, we weren’t his only table yet he was on top of his game and provided top tier service. Once my food came I was immediately drawn into the aroma. The Thai Spices mixed with the Sweet smells of the sauce made me extra happy inside. LoL. The Spring Rolls were good. They were crunchy loo Upon first bite I almost melted. Whew! I have NEVER in all my years had a Pad Thai this amazing. I’m talking about perfectly cooked noodles. Optimum noodle to meat to sauce ratio. And best of all, the peanuts were coated in the sauce and not only acted as the extra layer of texture, but their flavor profile was enhanced which allowed the dish to have a multi-flavor blend of sweet, salty, and nutty. Omggggggg. I want moreeeeeeeeee. The dish arrived hot and was very fresh. This wasn’t no quick boil or reheated dish, no. This was freshly made when I ordered it and whoever the chef was is amazing at their job. Dear Chef, your ability to cook Pad Thai is beyond normal. Your supernatural flavor elevated dish was exciting, mouth pleasing, and has made me eager to return to EAV That & Sushi. “Finally was able to try the downtown location during lunch recently and I loved it! I have ordered delivery multiple times and enjoyed the food. My cashier Jasmyn was lovely and made sure I was taken care of. Very clean atmosphere.
Only complaint that made me take away 1 star was because there was a young boy there making comments about Nazis among other things I could not clearly make out. It was just clear he was making the other two young ladies working with him uncomfortable.“

“Had reservations for noon. Arrived and all the tables were empty. The restaurant is huge. Taken to our table and had to wait a long time before anyone arrived to take our drink order. Waited a long time for the drinks and waitress came by to say the drinks will be a while (even though we were the only ones in the restaurant) but wanted to take our lunch order. Told her we wanted to wait for the drinks and came back 15 minutes later with the drinks that were terrible. I don't think the person that made the drinks was even a bartender! Bloody Mary had no celery or pickle, no lime and was warm. Mojitos had no rum, no lime! Came back for our food order and it took 30 minutes to get our food. Ordered the lobster rolls and they came with no melted butter as the menu indicated. Had to ask for it. Lobster roll was very good and the fries that came with it were also excellent. Good food but probably won't go back due to the poor service.“

“We got takoyaki, a Malaysian seafood fried rice, and a salmon combo. Everything was fantastic. I love sushi and these were the thickest cut pieces of salmon I’ve ever gotten. We were surprised to see the fried rice had scallops and lobster. And, overall the prices were comparable (and often cheaper) than other sushi places I’ve been to. I’m so excited to go back!“

“The food was pretty good as was the speed of service however, the atmosphere I ran four stars because it’s a little confusing. There’s a separate sushi bar that I’m related to the miso ko restaurant. I sort of wish that you could sit inside the miso side and have your sushi. You have to place an order with the cash register outside on the side, of what looks like the actual restaurant. Service because we had to ask for it after a little while even after sort of standing there looking confused the host just didn’t really say anything much well she didn’t say anything. They could do something to draw people in probably if I was to get a five stars for atmosphere like a little café table or even roping it off. Come on you can think of something I had to use Google walking directions to find the place after I walked into the pot city market. Parked pretty close to the entrance and there’s a QR code to scam for a map, but it’s not as helpful as you might think you can also pay for your parking with the QR code.“
