The food is very good for the price point, and the specialty nigiri (scallop on the day I was there) was absolutely delectable. The menu is representative but modest; if you're expecting an americanized sushi menu, you'll not find it here. The imported beer selection is decent. The fried squid appetizer is DELICIOUS.
Such a cute and inviting restaurant. The food was delicious - I especially recommend the mochi ice cream for dessert! Our server was attentive and pleasant and even drew a sweet little kitty on our receipt. Overall, a lovely experience.

Update 2024: Original review still mostly holds up. This is probably my family's favorite place to go regularly for casual sushi, though I do find the original midtown location superior to this one when I am able to get there. My main issue with this now is that it is small and with a very limited number of 4+ seat tables.
