“I went in with high expectations and O-Ku exceeded every single one. We had edamame and the variety of sautéed mushrooms, which were so delicious to start. We ordered the black magic (HIGHLY RECOMMEND), spicy tuna roll, A salmon roll, yellowtail sashimi, uni, and tuna sashimi. Everything was so good and the service made our dinner experience even better! The photos were taken after we started eating so everything is not pictured“
“Had drink at bar as I waited for rest of my party to arrive. Bartender Isiah was excellent! Lunch was a birthday gift for my friend, and the table was decorated with birthday confetti and chocolates. The meal was excellent. I had the 8 oz filet, which melted in my mouth like butter. Wedge salad was huge, and my side of asparagus was wonderful. Our server, Gina, was top-notch! My party of four were all first-timers to Blue Ridge Grill. We will definitely make this our favorite restaurant in Atlanta. Excellent in every way. From the valet parking to the special birthday ice cream cake to finish our meal, this was one of the finest dining experiences I have had in quite some time. Highly recommend.“
“We really enjoyed the atmosphere, service, and food. The “Hot & Easy Sticky Chicken” was a great, and the spiced fish sauce made the appetizer even better. The another highlight of this meal was the Bon Ton Rice Bowl. I initially ordered the chicken Adobo but after my seeing/tasting the Viet Meatball bowl brought to our table, I asked our server if I could swap to this choice. He quickly updated the kitchen of my decision change. Will definitely be dining at this establishment again, and again‼️???“
“Despite Atlanta's bad reputation among customer service in the popular restaurant industry, C&S Seafood & Oyster Bar - Vinings aka Clark & Schwenk's over this past weekend was superb and the food was fantastic. Omar was our server and even with some minor hiccups, the overall experience was worth it. When you first walk in, they have an array of tables, booths, and a full bar - all showing the Braves game. The lighting is relatively dark where you need to read your menu near the candle or use the light on your phone. Omar explained the full menu and highlighted the features. You are given a bread basket with delicious butter. We didn't get a chance to try out the raw oysters because we weren't hungry enough... LOL--the states that they had to offer looked really good especially the Blue Point oysters. We did order the following: · Espresso Martini - This was not in my Top 5 and it was actually average. Not sure what went wrong but perhaps it was the actual espresso. · C&S Smash - Orange, lemon, basil, club soda, choice of 1792 bourbon, or empress gin. We went with gin. The taste was described as "interesting" but was refreshing. Perhaps mint would have been a better herb. · RC's Chargrilled Oysters [Didn't capture a pic] - Of course not comparable with New Orleans! They were a tad overcooked and not the right amount of parmesan to butter ratio. The flavors were good though. · Jump Lump Crab Cake (1) - All crab, no filler. It tasted fresh, fluffy lump crab, and the grain mustard butter complemented it well. · Sea Bass - Options were grilled, broiled, or blackened. Sauce options were Olive Oil & Caper, Soy & Chili-Garlic, or Lemon-Herb Beurre Blanc. FYI, choose broiled if you want it pan-seared. We chose broiled with Lemon-Herb Beurre Blanc with Creamed Spinach and Whipped Potatoes. They were out of the first choice of Broccolini. The Sea Bass was cooked to perfection with the right amount of flakiness and lightly seared; You can taste the freshness from the sea. The sauce was served on the side and really was not needed but it did elevate the fish when combined with the whipped potatoes. The serving size was plentiful! They mistakenly added Brussels Sprouts but quickly brought out the replacement - Creamed spinach was seasoned well and combined with creamy parmesan. · U-10 Scallops - We chose broiled with the same Beurre-Blanc sauce, Lobster Risotto and Crispy Brussels Sprouts. The scallops were all succulent and seared perfectly. I loved, loved the Crispy Brussels Sprouts which were seasoned well- slightly savory and sweet. The Lobster Risotto had the right amount of lobster bits and it was velvety--could have been cooked a little longer and less white wine. Overall, the dish was still fantastic. Of course, had to end it with dessert... · Sea Salt Caramel [no pic] and Espresso Gelato - No words. It was smooth and derishush. · Crème Brulee - One of my fave desserts. The portion size was significant, had fresh strawberries and blueberries. The right consistency--not too runny and right amount of firmness. The caramelized sugar wasn't too crunchy either. One of my Top 5 crème brulees. · Key Lime Pie [no pic] - The pie to crust ratio wasn't right--too must crust but the crust also had some sort of nut in it..maybe a walnut? So FYI if you're allergic or do not like nuts. The flavors were good and maybe needed an extra tad of key lime element to it. Overall, it was a good dessert. I still would highly recommend C&S and would love to re-visit if we are ever in town again.“
“We arrived on a busy Saturday evening and our table was ready. The staff was attentive. The smoked trout dip and crackers, fry bread, and moqueca stew were great. The trout was a bit simpler and didn’t have the same flair as the other dishes.I would go back and try other dishes and appetizers any day of the week.“
“Beautiful setting, wonderful service. Ron was fabulous. We had a very pleasant brunch. The food, however was less than I would expect from such a highly rated establishment. Maybe it's because we went for brunch, and it's not their normal service, but we had to go back through and season everything, and the breakfast potatoes were sad. The bread basket was yummy though, and especially enjoyed the salmon on crispy potatoes. Maybe will try again when we are in town for dinner though.“
“Wanted to try a new restaurant for my birthday and the Capital Grille did not disappoint! Food was delicious - we had the beef tenderloin with lobster tails, filet, lobster bisque, and ceaser salad. Our server Charise was absolutely wonderful- very attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable!“
“I wanted to try a Michelin star restaurant. This place did not disappoint! The parking was free! The staff was so kind. It was not hoity toity either. I didn't need to know the cutlery as they brought out new pieces for each course. It was the most expensive meal I've ever had ($200+/plate) so I don't recommend bringing kids! The attire was more laid back than we expected, which was also nice. S/O took off his tie. ?It was a great experience.“
“Amazing fish spot. My wife and I had Blackened grouper, ceviche, and tuna tartare, and every dish was one of the best we had ever had. Tight, intimate setting. Excellent for a relaxed but high quality date night.I've also picked up fish from there to cook for dinner at home and it was incredible. Very high quality.“
“So we came here for brunch a couple weeks ago, a girls day out. We started with the shrimp, crispy and perfectly seasoned with a wonderful sauce that balanced sweet and spicy flavors just right. Let me tell you the pancakes were so amazing we dreamed about them and returned to make sure they were not a fluke, and fam they did not disappoint. These pancakes are so light and fluffy. They come with a caramel syrup, and a whipped orange mascarpone with fresh fruit. Amazing doesn’t even cover it. I also had the crab cake Benedict, they know how to properly poach an egg it was warm and liquid, perfect. Service was great both times. The kitchen was clean and because this is a little known gem there wasn’t a wait. Plus they offer valet and validate self parking.“
“Wonderful experience all around! From the moment of arrival, the service, the ambience, and of course the food, absolutely delicious. We had octopus for an appetizer, prawns lamb chops for entrees and ended it with the trio of desserts. Everything was outstanding! Looking forward to the next time!“
“Amazing service! Shae and Mikalea are so good at their jobs. They make everyone feel welcome and are great at recommending drinks and food. You can tell they love their work and the clients they help. The whole bar had a great time because of their service. I hope someone in corporate recognizes them for being so amazing.“
“I took myself on a solo date, the first one since my partner went on deployment 2 months ago. I felt awkward and was watching YouTube videos my whole dining experience but Rhett(I hope that’s the servers name) was patient and kind! I enjoyed all the food and the wine. I didn’t feel pressured to leave since I was alone taking up a table. He even went over the deserts for me and help me come to a decision on the best one and I really enjoyed it!The oysters were fresh, the salmon tartar was delicious, and the almond torte was to die for! Will definitely return!“
“Everything was perfect! The hostess was nice and attentive. The seating and atmosphere was amazing. The waiter was perfect, they worked as a team and we were attended to frequently. The food was amazing from the appetizers, the main course and the sides. Everything was PERFECT. Appetizer: Calamari Pork Belly Main Course: Dry Aged Ribeye Filet Mignon Sides: Mac & Cheese Mashed Potatoes Brussel Sprouts“
“My BF took me here for my 43rd bday and when I say they did me right!! The ambience and atmosphere was a whole vibe. Food was amazing. I had the lamb chops with the bleu cheese butter. It was Devine and melt in your mouth. Our sides were lobster Mac and loaded mashed potatoes which both were excellent. Pharroah was a great smooth server he told me to pick my complementary Bday desert and I chose the cheesecake its was Devine. Over all my birthday was excellent.“
“Had a dinner party for 8 at YEBO to host the Black Employee Resource Group during our work retreat. I tried to RSVP 4 days in advance for 10 but I was deterred by the requirement to pre-pay $65 a head minimum. I ended up booking the day of for 6 and adding the other 2 people. The experience was outstanding and I would have no reservations pre-paying in the future. The food was delicious, the service was warm and friendly, and the ambiance was intimate but lively.“
“Very clean and cozy place. I think they have the best steaks in the southeastern United States. Not sure what they put on them but it’s incredible. The staff is super nice. Call ahead cause they stay packed. It’s nothing to see somebody famous in there just about any night. One night when we were there J Foxx was playing the piano. Try the place, you won’t be disappointed.“
“First time at St. Cecilia and it was a pleasurable experience. The decor was fitting and comforting. The staff were friendly and respectful. Virginia was our server and was superb! Had a Sazerac from the bar, spot on. Then for dinner enjoyed the Agnolotti and Risotto di Aragosta. Both dishes were flavorful and looked great. The Agnolotti was super tender. Would love to try more dishes in the future. Oh and definitely get an order of the Arancini!“
“My fiancé wanted Italian or Steak for his birthday so I landed on a reservation here because it gave him the best of both worlds. Let me say that this place did not disappoint! The check-in process was smooth and felt very attentive. Parking was a bit confusing at first but you can valet your car at the Intercontinental for free. Just make sure you get your ticket validated before you leave the restaurant. We decided to sit outside because it was a nice evening; the traffic on peachtree was nonexistent for a Tuesday; and the view was amazing as well.We ordered drinks, fries, the salmon dish, and the pasta that had wagyu and everything was delicious! My fiancé left no crumbs behind on his pasta dish. My salmon had a pesto sauce with pomegranate seeds and I was amazingly surprised with how well the two paired together. Compliments to the chef because I also left nothing behind lol!Our waiter even added a special touch to our dining experience by bringing both of us a plate of chocolates for our birthday, as mine is the following week. Will definitely come back!“
“Amazing Food. Amazing service. The food NEVER disappoints. I Had the sea bass and my goodness. I think I was finished in 10 minutes. RoflmaoWheelchair accessibility: Wide doors and wheelchair ramp. The valet even drove the car up to meet us at the end of the ramp.“
“Great spot for brunch! I had a large family brunch today, and with only one waitress to serve us- she took on the challenge and did a great job! The service was exceptional, the portions were great, and the flavor was on point. I would definitely come back here again. I love supporting black owned businesses that are stellar.“
“My husband Tyler and I were there for our 13th anniversary! Dan was our server and his recommendations were amazing! He was very professional, kind, and knowledgeable! We had an amazing dinner and a special dessert to end the night on a sweet note! Thank you to everyone at Chops who made our night one to remember!“
“The atmosphere was dimly lit, a real nice quiet place to take a Date. Very pricey but worth the time. Validated parking. The food was very good, service was excellent. The Bathroom was very clean. The waiter was very professional. Had a wonderful time !“
“This restaurant and the people that work here are so very special. The food is spectacular…thats a given. The atmosphere and the staff are what make it feel like you are with friends and family and you are home. It truly is my happy place. ❤️“
“Great food-actually amazing! Lots of variety and everything we had was delicious. Chef Karl puts together a beautiful and delicious plate. Everything we had was fabulous-appetizers and main plate. Service was great, attentive and helpful . We will be back!“
“This was my first visit and the food was excellent, I recommend the oysters for a appetizer and for a main dish the Redfish Louisianne it was cooked to perfection and the spices and seasoning were amazing..we were welcomed with smiling faces and great customer service…I will be returning❤️❤️“
“I usually order fish and fried rice which are really good. On Saturday, I ordered whole wings and rice and those wings were so delicious! While waiting for my food, I always enjoy meeting some of the friendly customers, and Steve really makes you feel welcome. So don't just take my word, stop by and try it for yourself!“
“My dinner at Ray's was a simply magical! Tee was our waitress and she was superb! Tee communicated clearly, got all of the meals delivered at almost the same time for our party of 15. All drink orders were correct and she even delivered hot towels after dinner.“
“Initially we were disappointed at the reduced menu options compared to our last visit and there may be people who wouldn't find choices that they liked. I had two small plates rather than a larger dish. My mussels were really very good and the scallops were even better. The service was excellent. Prices are a bit steep, but I was very happy with my food and with the service.“
“Hello fellow #foodiesofatl we want to share our Foodie Friday visit at @fontainesatl in the N. Highlands Area of Atlanta.Let's start off with the vibes. It was low key, the staff was friendly, and the food service was very quick. Speaking of the food we had some positives and some neutrals. Here is what we had:Cajun Rice Balls ❤️❤️❤️These were simply "okay". We wouldn't order them again because there was nothing special about them. We have had tons of great rice balls in Atlanta and this is at the bottom of the list. They were just dull.John's Famous Cold Crab dip with pita points❤️❤️❤️Same as the rice balls, not bad just dull. Would not order again. The pita points were a nice touch though and were warm and soft.NOLA oysters ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️Okay, finally something we loved. These were amazing. We will be back for these again and will order no appetizers. We should have ordered this twice lolCatfish Seafood Basket ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️Cooked perfectly, not too much breading, hot and crunchy on the outside and soft and yummy on the inside. Came with really good fries with cajun seasoning.Crawfish Tails Basket ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️Cooked perfectly, not too much breading, hot and Crispy. This was really awesome!!The oysters and fried seafood were great. The appetizers left much too be desired. We decided if we back we will go straight in for oysters and fried seafood. We will be back for sure for the seafood!!#fontainesoysterhouse#virginiahighlands #t_vfooduniverse2024 #T_vfooduniverse #foodielover #foodbloggersofatlanta #seafoodlovers #seafoodatl #atlbites #atlantaeats #oysters #goodeats404 #atlantablogger #foodiesforlife #atlantarestaurantscene #bestofatlantaeats #foodietakeover #friedseafood #yummyeats #atlantanights #foodscene #bestfriends #atlantaga #atlantalife #atlantablogger #foodhype #foodfinders #foodreels #foodcoma #atlantafridays“
“Have been getting COVID-19 omakase with Yasu! And I cannot recommended it enough! Every single little detail is not missed even though it is take out. By far one of the best Omakase take in Atlanta currently for it’s price. The amount of food is easily 2-3 times the other omakase and yet the same quality. ❤️“
“I stopped by for dinner here about a month ago while on a business trip. I was there during their golden hour, 4-6PM. The restaurant is clean and decorated with bright nautical decor. It wasn't very busy at all since I was there between the more traditional lunch and dinner hours and on a Tuesday. I was the only one dining in at the time . Ordering is super easy, you mark off everything you want on a laminated ordering card and hand it to the cashier. The service was wonderful. The staff were very friendly but also gave me my space to dine comfortably as a solo diner. Food was so good, fresh, filling but healthy. They also have all kinds of sauces other than your traditional tartar and cocktail sauces that were all a match for any taste preference and paired perfectly with the fish. Not that the fish or any of the food needed anything to make it better. It was already very good on its own. The golden hour specials were a welcomed surprise given how expensive everything is everywhere these days, especially seafood. My food was like $7 off, I had a dinner plate that's regularly $22 that is only $15 during golden hour and I had a glass of wine for only $5. As I ate I noticed many people dropped in to pick up their preorders. They seem to have a very efficient "order ahead" system. I would love to eat here again and wish there was one where I live. Sadly I will have to wait until I find myself back in Atlanta.“
“Service was top notch!Food was quite good….only complaint was the fish in the fish and chips. It was very small potions…reminded me of the frozen battered fish I buy from time to time…see photo. I would not order it again. The tacos were good as was the chicken sandwich. They were out of the crab cakes unfortunately.Other than that it was a good spot while awaiting our connecting flight. ✈️“
“Great for a first time experience! I went with my girlfriend tonight. Jay had phenomenal customer service. He made sure our needs were met & still made room to joke around to ensure we were smiling. AB was very kind & shared similar traits, as well. Great personalities.Great atmosphere.“
“Stopped in at this place to catch an English “soccer” game (EPL). It’s close to the Atl Zoo and across street from the Oakland cemetery. A shortish walk away from the Atl Beltline. They had two screens dedicated to EPL around the bar. The others showed NBA that day. So it’s a mix of sports on offer. The food was good… nothing was over salty or over spiced. So the taste of seafood comes through. The blackened catfish was good and the side of zucchini fries was excellent (especially the dip it came with). They also have a big selection of beer on tap. The Terrapin - Los Bravos (Athens, GA) was excellent if U like a light, citrusy lager.Service was good.“
“Came to eat here tonight with my parents, they celebrated their birthdays earlier this month and we decided to step it up a notch and go downtown for a combined meal this year.Valet parking only here, they work off gratuities so remember that as they run to get your car as it was pouring outside tonight! We were immediately seated at our scheduled time, in a table I had sat in before with coworkers in the corner. The manager heard me speaking about it and how I enjoyed that with my colleagues he offered to put me there once again. Super cool, great view of the dining area and very quiet in the corner. I think my parents really enjoyed that. Antrane was our server and she crushed it tonight. Came over and took our drink order then proceeded to absolutely kill it for me tonight; made me look like a good son!For apps- we went with the Wagyu bbq short ribs, and the Lobster fritters and split a wedge salad between the three of us, they also chopped and split the portions for us. I'm going to tell you that the short ribs were crazy good, melt in your mouth barely a need to chew. The lobster fritters were perfectly cooked, beautiful texture and flavor. Wedge salad was so flavorful with the homemade dressing and pappadew peppers- what a new flavor on a traditional salad. My dad and I split the steak for two (porterhouse), cooked to perfection. My mother got an 8 oz strip and she normally gets it cooked well done. She was mowing the steak down and we had two sides of sauce to try- Bernaise and peppercorn. Both were super flavorful and enhanced the steak (truth be told the steak is the star and didn't need sauce)As for sides: creamed spinach and scalloped sweet potatoes (full portions) charred jalapeños creamed corn and roasted mushrooms (half portions). We ate more than we normally would've, but it seemed too good to stop. They were super generous to give both my parents a complimentary dessert since they have back to back bdays in March. My dad took one of each sorbet flavors (mango, pear, strawberry) and my mother did the vanilla bread pudding with cheesecake ice cream. My goodness! After all that food and a bottle of wine, still cleaned the plates! It's unheard of in our family. On the walk out, I noticed Chef Rathbun and he spoke with us for a few minutes. Told him I'd been familiar with his work and watched him and his brother battle on Iron Chef. We have been to many steakhouses in Chicago but this one really is next level. My thanks to the kitchen and Antrane, and especially Chef Rathbun for a memorable evening. It's super cool to get to meet chefs who are so talented and the staff that make them look bigger than rock stars for special moments like this.“
“My experience at Le Petit Marche was so exquisite and beyond exceeded my expectations so much to where I had to take the time to write a review about it. Staff/Service: From the time you walk in you feel like you’ve walked into the home of someone you know who was excitedly anticipating your arrival. The smiles from the host staff, the greetings from every staff member on the way to your table, with the added bonus of receiving a hug from our waiter was like nothing I’ve experienced anywhere else in Atlanta. Our waiter made us feel like we were truly special and created a pocket of bliss and space of happiness in the day of everyone at the table. Food: The unique culinary creations and flavor blends of the dishes was impeccable. From the most cutest brunch tacos I’ve ever seen made with french toast tortillas and bacon, to the best tasting beignets, herb parmesean fries, and salad topped with house-made spiced crotons and perfectly grilled shrimp, my tongue was in heaven. Every bite amazingly delcious!!! Five Stars is literally not enough. Thank you to everyone at Le Petit Marche. You are unforgettable and I can not wait to dine with you again!“
“My cousins invited me here for brunch while I was in town and it was spot on. The food was savory. The atmosphere was cozy and the staff was friendly and helpful. Our waitress was very attentive to our needs. She was detail-oriented and recommended some great items for us to try. I frequent the area a lot so we will definitely be back.“
“Excellent meal, Fresh inventive cocktails, Incredible Thai cuisine, and top notch service. Our table had the specials - seafood platter, Red Snapper, king Crab Cake fried rice, and dark chocolate mousse. All were amazing and I only wish I could have tried everything on the menu. Would recommend.“
“Lauren was absolutely phenomenal during my visit. Super attentive and personable. Despite a kitchen mix-up, I’d happily go back given the way Lauren handled the situation. If you’re heading to Carrabba’s at Cumberland, ask to be seated with Lauren.“
“One of the coolest places to dine out on the beltline. The architecture and interiors of the place are just amazing. You instantly feel like being transported to a high end garden with beautiful tree plants every where. The servers were probably the highlight. Very attentive and friendly, made our experience even better. The second highlight is their crispy brussel sprouts. I can still taste the scrumptious blend of flavors. It’s perfectly sweet and crunchy along with a hint of spice. The cod was our second favorite. Cooked to perfection with a flavorful sauce accompanied on a bed of vegetables. The pork belly was a good attempt but definitely my least favorite. But overall a great place to eat and can’t wait for second round.“
“WOW WOW WOW. What a delicious dinner. The bison was out of this world!!! Fantastic waitstaff atmosphere was dim and beautiful. It’s my kiddos birthday and they even put a candle on his ice cream- it’s the little touches that mean the most.Highly recommend, I would make a reservation… otherwise you could be waiting awaile.Kid-friendliness: Kid cheese burger with fries.“
“Every time I come here everything is perfect. I sat at the inside bar, my drinks and food were great.i can’t remember my lovely bartenders name, she was working the day bar inside last Saturday, but she was amazing.I’ve always had a good experience here.“
“I had been watching stories on IG about this place and we love crawfish so on Friday April 5th, my husband and I traveled almost 2 hrs to get a pickup order. We had got them for a gathering we were having the next day. We managed to eat a few in the car on our way back home so we could try them fresh. Man were they good!! And heating them up the next day did not disappoint. They had to have been the best we have ever had.Very friendly service. I’m planning on returning this Friday.“
“⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️ classic • elegant • unique • delicious Atlanta, The Garden Room is the place to be on any night, but weekends are amazing because you get the chance to catch their in house DJ after 9pm. Make a reservation because they are sure to be fully committed. The brilliant and talented individuals that support the service at this upscale lounge are top notch. Jennifer, one of the managers has built an amazing relationship with my spouse and I. Her attention to detail is second to none. She remembers everything that we enjoy, the flavors we love and the food compositions that excite our palate, and she delivers one of a kind specialties. A few items that should land on your bucket list to try include: •I Love Lychee Martini: the best in ATL •Not So French •Love Potion •Fresh Baked focaccia bread served with balsamic vinegar and oils •SQUASH CAPPELLETTI ♥️ Everything on the menu was delicious including the custom Lychee Bon Bon’s that the pastry chef prepared for us in advance because I love Lychee so much. Jennifer scored us a show stopping VIP booth to the DJ. Her knowledge of the lounge and the Michelin Star restaurant “Atlas” next door was impeccable. Please don’t sleep on this lounge and get there as soon as you can.“
“Staff was nice the atmosphere was the bomb the ambiance made you want to stay all night and the food was good i just wish my lamb chops came with some veggies or a side of rice for the price???. Overall nice time and I will definitely come back again????????“
“My whole family absolutely loves this place! I eat gluten free and they are always so accommodating for me with several delicious options. The service is also great and the sweet tea is always amazing!!! We love the salmon and grits are delicious! Whenever we are heading down to Buckhead area we included The Big Catch as a fun family lunch or dinner on the way!“
“Food is ALWAYS delicious! Great portions. Always fresh and never taste old or refrigerated, no matter if it's day or night. I don't go here for the experience. I literally order online and go in to pick it up then leave. Sometimes the parking attendant is rude when I say I just want to pick up food but I guess he just be busy with his flow and high I understand. I don't like their new online system. It charges me for extra stuff that I don't need and there's no way to not get it. But over all, top 5 favorite food kitchen in Atlanta, downtown area.“
“Janelle & Thomas created a memorable experience for Daniel's birthday celebration! The ambiance, food, and drinks were all top-notch, and the hospitality made you feel truly welcomed. We had the blood orange margaritas, grilled octopus, sautéed shrimp, avocado quinoa salad, bbq salmon and branzino and of course Danny’s chocolate brownie! Thank you guys for an amazing experience!“
“From the moment I made my reservation, The Optimist in Atlanta promised a distinctive dining adventure, and oh boy, did they deliver! Steering clear of the usual praise for décor, this review highlights the exceptional aspects that truly make The Optimist a must-visit destination.First off, the service here isn't just good; it's clairvoyant. The staff anticipated needs I didn't know I had, from detailed explanations of dish ingredients to personalized recommendations tailored to my taste preferences. Their timing was impeccable, ensuring a seamless flow from course to course without ever feeling rushed. Now, let’s talk about the culinary journey. The menu, inspired by sea fare, offers a refreshing twist on classic seafood dishes. The smoked oysters are a revelation—served with a mignonette that features a hint of apple, which beautifully complements the smokiness. And the main event, the whole roasted fish, is a masterpiece of simplicity and flavor, showcasing the chef’s deft touch and respect for high-quality ingredients. Not to be outdone, the beverage selection at The Optimist is a treasure chest of delights. The cocktail list is inventive, featuring sea-inspired twists on classic drinks, like the "Saltwater Taffy Old Fashioned," which is as whimsical as it is delicious. The wine list is equally impressive, with thoughtful pairings that elevate the fish dishes to new heights. In summary, The Optimist isn’t just a restaurant; it’s a voyage that delights and surprises with its service, menu creativity, and attention to detail. It’s a place where every visit promises new discoveries, making it clear why this gem is often touted as one of the best seafood experiences in Atlanta.“
