“Menu amazing. Only had a beef arepa. Was pretty good, but was not given what I ordered. After eating and thinking it wasn't as flavorful as I was expecting, I overheard someone asking about the Thai sauce and remembered my Arepa was supposed to have it. I asked the mature lady that appeared to be perhaps managing the front? if they normally put it on the Arepa or on the side. She said we don't put it on any more. I said but that is why I ordered it. She said you could have asked for it! I said they should let people know, she said instead of changing all our menus they can just get it on the side if they ask for it. No apologies. Justifications only. All the other staff were wonderful so don't let that bother you too much. Maybe ask if everything is correct on your choic s tho!Then, I left my purse on the chair. Called back and nice young person assure me they had it. Came to claim it, another server went back to look for it behind counter and in back. The aforementioned lady pointed to the shelf in a window...outside the counter, in the area people can hang out! Just sitting there out in the open for anyone to open or take! So I just had to share. SMH. I still have 4 stars because everyone else was great. But, if an item is different than the menu, you tell the customer. EVERY SINGLE TIME. No excuses.“

“Stopped in today for the first time and the place was Joplin which I expect is normal on a Saturday morning. I ordered Hashed Out and it was pretty good, and my boyfriend ordered the Kickstart breakfast. I also had a side of Fried Green Tomatoes. The FGTs were some of the best that I ever had and I would rate those 5 Stars…I will say that I felt the prices were pretty high, and that will prevent me from going back. $7 for 4 slices of FGT, $16 for Hashed Out and I think $14 for the Kickstart and then $7 for the waffle. The drink menu looked good, but we stuck with coffee and water.“

“I always really enjoy my Build your own Pho from Vietvana! Very flavorful and great value for what you get! Lots of fresh ingredients! The staff is usually pretty friendly and welcoming! The one time I've had a concern with my pick up order, it was immediately fixed with no hassle.“

“This place is amazing! When I first looked at the menu, I was a little concerned, because there didn't seem to be a whole lot that was geared towards my tastes. My wife had really been wanting to try it, so I figured I'd give it a shot, mostly because the drinks looked really good! Anyway, I was kind of challenged to eat outside my comfort zone. We started with the Mackerel Dip, which was delicious! I had the Reef Burger. It was one of the best things I'd ever put in my mouth! The melding of the flavors was out of this world! Here's the good part, though... my wife ordered the last thing on the menu that I would have considered, the eggplant dish. When she offered me a taste of her entrée, I figured, why not. OMG! What a nice surprise. It was so good! I didn't realize eggplant could taste that good. I liked it so much, I can't wait to go back and order that specific dish for myself.Finally, the drinks were awesome, just as expected!“

“The portion sizes are generous. The pancake was the size of a 10 inch plate. The chicken was lightly battered and tasted delicious. The biscuits were fluffy without being underdone. The sausage gravy was very good. The fried green tomatoes are thick cut and good. The pickles are Doux South, which are very flavorful, but we didn't care for the cornmeal batter on the pickles. The horseradish ranch was very good. Sriracha ranch had a nice kick. Overall, we would definitely go again.“

Even if the food had been sub par (which it wasn't) he would've made it right. He made the first night of our anniversary vacation memorable! Cocktails.....we had the Fresa Ahumada, Botella Del Rayo, Jardin de Privavera & Amigo, the Devil. All excellent. Amigo, the devil....I'm not a passionfruit fan but this was more aligned with pineapple IMO, so if you are not a passionfruit fan, but love pineapple you may enjoy this. The Botella del Rayo is very much an old fashion but with tequila. Very nice. Food..... Pulpo, excellent. Not the best we've had but definitely top three. Bistec.....oh my lord.. order it. Unless you're vegan. Pork cheek tacos, empanadas de carne, BWD, all very good.“

As they say in Italy fantastical Malta Bella of course all their ingredients brought in from Italy the only thing that's not is the water. And in a perfect Wood-Fired oven dome type oven for the pizza cooks very short period of time and to American taste it looks charred but that is the way to cook a pizzaWe got the margarita pizza and had extra pepperoni added and it was marvelous. The deal was perfect light airy the pizza itself was fresh the sauces perfect the buffalo mozzarella is perfect, the fresh basil was wonderful. Also we had p calabrie peppers San Romano cheese olive oil and garlic to add on the sidesHe enjoyed the experience he loved the pizza as to die it's a great place well deserving of the dimension by the Michelin star people.Cortese of old Italy in a style of old Italy and a rustic seating or you're sharing tables you'll love this place.The only downside was here on a Wednesday at noon. “We found this gem while visiting Atlanta for 2 days. Food is amazing, seriously!! You have to try green tomatoes, fried chicken, shrimp dish, crab cake, cornbread dish, desserts!! We especially loved banana pudding. People that work there super nice and friendly.“

“So delicious! Came on a Wednesday night and it was pretty full. The restaurant is small and has limited seating, but the atmosphere is cozy. They do have 1hr free parking in a garage, you pay first then use a code. Service was good, there was only one guy working at the front and he was struggling because it was so busy. I feel like there should’ve been at least two people working. The food was soo good. My faves were the lamb cumin noodles and egg and tomato noodles.“

“Calaveritas never disappoints!! Everything I’ve ever tried from them has been amazing. This time we got the carne asada tacos, quesadillas and chips & queso. Everything was delicious. It was the first time I’d tried the queso and it was so good. Also their new spot is so cute and their staff is always so friendly and helpful.“

Don’t let this deter you and ask for it without if you happen to have an allergy! They will thankfully oblige and it is absolutely worth it.“

“The Optimist treated me exceptionally well today on my birthday & Mother’s Day. I dined in by myself & my server Imani made sure I felt such love. The staff and managers made sure to stop by & engage in conversation with me. The food is delicious, the atmosphere is awesome, the bathrooms are well kept. 10/10 on my entire experience! “Really lovely experience! The service, ambiance, and food were all top notch. The cavatelli is delish, as is the white chocolate pistachio cheesecake. The only negative is parking is just street parking - if you go during off hours, parking is fine. When it’s busy, parking can be tricky. But major props to the team. With so many restaurants in town, I don’t repeat many, but I’ll go back here!“

“Dinner on a Tuesday night at the Kimball house was wonderful. Loved the decor inside and overall ambience. My party enjoyed everything we ordered especially the entrees, they were all excellent and difficult to pick a favorite between the tenderloin, duck and snapper. The grilled oysters were a little different than the typical Parmesan garlic but they were amazing as well. I think the weakest dish for me was the fried shrimp. The pieces were small and seemed like a lot of breading. We didn't order dessert here and elected to walk over to butter & cream for dessert. Would definitely come back for dinner again!“

“It's frankly absurd that Mamak Vegan Kitchen is as good as it is; places with menus as ample as theirs don't usually offer reliably good food, but Mamak Vegan Kitchen does. They also use some unusual ingredients like lotus root. Highly recommend! I daydream about their meals sometimes.“

“Tabby was in town and in usual Tabby flow she was exploring the atlasobscura website and came across The Consulate. As such, we decided to go. We had reservations for 06:15 on a Friday. Arriving about 20 minutes early as traffic happened to be light, we were able to be seated early without any issues. Upon entering the restaurant the hallway decor captures your attention as you focus on the selected hues of blue and artwork placement. Upon being seated we were immediately greeted by Cindy. Cindy arrived all smiles coupled with a huge personality and warm welcome. As this was our first time she took a moment to explain to us the menu selections, geographical inspiration, as well as answer the few questions we had about select items. Cindy’s education of the menu and experience with the foods added to the food deciding experience. Major shout out to Cindy. The ambiance of the restaurant is high energy, captivating and explorative. As you look around the restaurant it puts you in the mindset of being inside one of the classic true to theme castles in an Indiana Jones or Tomb Raider movie. LoL! At any moment Laura Croft could walk in and grab one of the items on display and head out for her next mission. LoL! I decided on the String Beans with a side of Mexican Rice and I was more than satisfied with the flavor profile of my meal. The string beans were flavor stacked with the slight sweet from the sauce and the spice from the peppers. The texture was spot on for a true sautéed experience as well as the portion was perfect… The Mexican rice paired well with the string beans as it provided a texture variation as well as it was seasoned well but not overpowering in comparison to the string beans. This was truly a 10/10 experience. The service, the environment, and the food were all superb. Whether for a personal 2 person dinner or after work friend vibe, The Consulate is truly a must try for any occasion.“
