“My wife and I make the trip to Blairsville at least a couple of times a year and have for several years. Today was our first time trying The Sawmill Place. Everything was wonderful! Food was great, service was great and when we got there we had a few minute wait which i would expect any good eating establishment on a Saturday morning. I you ever in the area you should try it. The gravy and biscuits were very good but the sweet potato pancakes were absolutely wonderful.“

“Forgot about the North Georgia Bible Belt that closes most places in these hills on Sunday, but to my surprise, Jim's was open and I got to grab some food to go in between my hikes of Brasstown Bald and Raven Cliffs. Took my food and stopped at Dodd Creek Vista to enjoy one of the best views in all of Georgia. It was a perfect day and the sliced brisket and pulled pork was tender, while the cheddar gouda grits were fluffy and some of the best I've ever had and the greens were worthy of a Southern delicacy. Talked to the owner to order my food and she was extremely nice and a pleasure talking to. Your place is on my list to hit again when I'm back in the area!“

“There are 3 things I look for when eating out: taste, service, and value. Everyone in our group felt that Rib City hit the first two out of the park! The brisket is the best I've ever had. Our server, Susan, was awesome. I think their prices are a tad high. Being charged extra for "premium sides" is annoying. That being said, the food quality was outstanding and merits a return visit; maybe they offer coupons?“

The food was excellent southern home cooking which was only surpassed by the friendly service. Did I mention that all was offered at an extraordinary value. “Had a nice lunch here overlooking the golf course and a mountain landscape. Have a nice variety of menu offerings along with a full bar with a few craft beers. I had the Rachel sandwich with sweet potato waffle fries, both were great tasting. Service was efficient.“

“Sicily's Pizza, Went there tonight my husband ordered a glass of Cabernet for me and it was bad, It tasted like it had been open for several days. They stated that all sales are final even if it's bad the manager even stated that all restaurants in the Blairsville area all do the same which I've never heard of that. Very poor customer service tonight too, our waitress was very slow wouldn't come and wait on us when we needed help. Had to keep asking another waitress for help. Very surprised we eat there all the time and love the pizza but very disappointed in the experience. Probably won't go back.“
