“I stopped here for a late lunch when traveling from Georgia to north Carolina after I got gas nearby. I was seated right away and a young lady came to take my order. She was very patient as I asked several questions and she was excellent at explaining the menu. She brought out some chips and salsa and I was surprised at how good they were. I usually eat very few chips but I had a hard time not eating all of these. They are crispy and light and have great seasoning!! Awesome! I decided on a chicken crunch wrap which is similar to a quesadilla but grilled. The filling was good but could have been a lot more... there was plenty of room for more inside. I will probably stop here again but order a different entree. My server was excellent, place was clean and the bathroom was clean as well.“

“Best mexican food in the Savannah area!!!! No competition. The staff was extremely friendly and very attentive. The atmosphere was immaculate and the music was bumping. The man working the hot line had an energy to him that was absolutely contagious. Gracias por una cena maravillosa. Regresamos pronto?“

“Party of 5. The atmosphere in the bar at dinner is more festive. All of our dinner plates were served hot and correctly. Margaritas were delicious. When we finished our waiter came right over with the check even though he was busy! I would visit again.“

“The place doesn't look like much and sits next to a fast food giant but the food and the people are great. Visited many times and have yet to be let down. Brush up on your Spanish and get ready to enjoy the fire roasted chicken, carnitas or even the street taco selection.“

“We stopped in for dinner...sat at the bar..Started with Dos Equis, salsa and chips and some queso. Perfect start...I recommend getting some hotter salsa to add to their salsa as we like it hot. Our server recommended the dish El Durango and we couldn't be happier with her recommendation. Isabel was the best server!“

“El Sazon offers the best Mexican food in town! Everything is fresh and cooked perfectly. The restaurant is tastefully decorated with plenty of tables, booths and seats at the bar. They offer daily food and drink specials. You can’t beat $2 off tacos on Tuesdays! The Sante Fe steak, avocado & jalapeño taco is my favorite! Great service, reasonably priced and the best kitchen staff around!“

“The food is good. We love the buffet they offer. Servers are friendly and normally attentive. I've had a few visits where I've ordered something from the bar, and it never came. Other than that it's normally a descent tex mex experience even though it says authentic “

“We came for dinner. Half our meal came out while they had to defrost the beef for the other orders. Then they brought out 1 of the orders and never brought the tacos. Food was mediocre, small restaurant. Average food. If you are a “gringo” , this may be the place for you. Not trying to be critical but definitely not the experience I was looking for!!!!“

“We just got to try out this hidden gem last weekend. Let me just start by saying we were not disappointed at all. Our bartender daisy was an absolute gem!! Also she knew what a dressed beer is (which is rare in Georgia). She made our whole experience amazing. Everything is reasonably priced and the food is delicious. We will most definitely be returning!!“

“Yum food, very busy which made the service a little slow. Tried the lunch options, good portion for the price. Tried chicken fajitas, vegetarian combos (burrito, enchilada, tostada), chicken quesadilla - all tasted fresh and yum. Chips and salsa were served as soon as we sat at the table. Many and good vegetarian options!Vegetarian options: Black bean burrito, combo meals“

“WOW. I usually order the flacos special or the breakfast chorizo burrito. However, this time I got the California burrito. Without a shadow of a doubt this was the best burrito I have ever had in my life. It’s not even a contest. I love spice so I got it with the big boy sauce. Good job Carlos! (He’s the one who cooked it)“

“We had a great waitress and another nice lady that took our pics for my son's 24 birthday. The waitress was very kind and patient while waiting for him to make up his mind on what to order. Lol. He's not much of a drinker but did finish his frozen drink while I tossed back his shot. Thanks again for a great Día de los Muertos!“

“We stayed next door at the Holiday Inn Express. It was recommended by the hotel staff. Oh my goodness, excellent food and super generous portions. Prices are cheap-steak, shrimp and chicken were tender and perfect. Loved the complimentary salsa and chips. We highly recommend this non chain gem! Server staff efficient and friendly. A WIN for sure.“

“The food service and atmosphere were all good. I sat with my salad till my entree came out because I couldn't get the attention of a server to ask for utensils. The atmosphere is your typical Mexican restaurant, a bit slightly better.“
“This place is such heaven on earth that I just had to add it to Yelp. Everyone needs to know that this is, hands down, the absolute best Mexican food in the area. The flavors are money, the prices are unbeatable, and the home-cooked feel of it all is so authentic. This is a Mexican market divided into three sections: The market side with grocery items, a corner with tables and chairs ("the restaurant"), and the meat market side. There is street parking and the store itself can feel a bit cramped. Not to worry, that just means that they have a huge selection of groceries and wonderful customer service. I ordered tacos carne asada and tacos al pastor. The tacos are $3 each and are served on homemade corn tortillas, chopped onions and cilantro, and salsa verde and roja on the side. Outstanding flavors and good portions. The sauces have a nice kick. I also ordered tamales and they deserve their own Yelp page. They are the best tamales on earth (don't tell my mother-in-law). The dough is extremely soft but not soggy. They're wrapped in authentic green leaf so the aroma is preserved nicely. The pork in the tamal was so flavorful and tender. The chicken was white meat and seasoned to perfection. It's the first chicken tamale I've had where the chicken wasn't dry. At $2.50 each, I will be ordering them by the tray load next time. If you ever go and see me camping outside, I'm likely waiting for the store to open so I can get more tamales. While waiting for my food, I ventured into the meat counter section. I was completely impressed by how efficient and quick the guys were cutting and packaging meat. I ended up getting 2lbs of churrasco meat for barely $20, and I grabbed fresh limes, cilantro, onions, fresh avocados, and a packet of homemade corn tortillas for dinner. I'm never getting my meat from a chain supermarket again. Not at the prices that this place has to offer and the freshness. The guys at the counter were friendly and the butcher offered to cut/package the meat however I wanted it. By the time I went to the register to pay, the sweet lady that took my to-go order handed me my food. So I went to the register and they packaged everything for me. My groceries came out to $40 exactly (and I have at least 3 dinners for me and my husband, and enough tortillas to feed an army), and the food was $25 (6 tacos and 2 tamales). I am absolutely coming back. Often. This is the place where I'll come to get meat for the week, and I'm definitely coming back to keep trying the menu and have more of those heavenly tamales.“

“We came in after any lunch rush so service was fast and friendly. Food came out pretty quickly as we usually finish the chips everywhere else and were not even halfway through them here. My tamales were very good - shredded pork was very tender with a great slow cooked taste and the masa dough must have sauce added in as it has a great taste also ( most is just masa, water, and lard - I use broth and add cumin to my dough). The red sauce was very spicy (not hot) and flavorful!!! Yum! Hubs tacos were just basic goodness which is sometimes all he wants and the $$ was better than other places so a definite win on those!!! We will definitely be back!!Add on: we did indeed come back!!! I had the enchilada verda and WOW! Their green sauce is packed with flavor with only a bit of a bite. Plus the shredded chicken was tender and full of flavor also. Hubs had a couple of beef enchiladas and this time he got to enjoy the red sauce - loved it!I like that this place uses spices and herbs to add flavor and doesn't just make stuff pepper hot to hide the lack of other spices.“

“Looking for some awesome Mexican food? Flacos is top notch every time. I placed an order online. It was super easy and was ready when I got there. The birria tacos is ! The beef is super flavorful and the dipping sauce is perfection. Their jamaica is one of the best I've ever tasted! I could seriously drink gallons of it. My husband loves the chicken tacos. The absolute best thing on their menu is the street corn! This location does have indoor seating, but it's nothing fancy.“
