“It reminds me of the Osteria found in Italy but with a creative twist. You can taste the food is made with care and the menu designed with thoughtfulness. We greatly enjoyed the pace of the service. It was attentive but you didn’t feel rushed and like they were trying to turn tables. I feel like the value for the money paid was definitely there. We got two entrees, 3 drinks from the bar, shared a soup, bread service and two salads for $86. I think that is more than fair for proper handmade pasta and risotto and everything else we ordered. The atmosphere is lovely. There aren’t a lot of tables and it’s not overly loud. You can actually have conversations and enjoy the company of your friends and family.”

“We visited the Cartersville location for a family members birthday. My boyfriend ordered his steak cooked medium well. When it arrived at the table it was well done. He was not happy but did not return it or say anything to our server. I ordered the Chicken and Strawberry salad. When it arrived, there was no Chicken on it. I made my server aware of the fact and she got me some Chicken. A family member ordered Chicken Fingers/Nuggets. She said there was alot of breading on them. It was rather cool in there and I am not one who normally gets cold.”

Now you’re judging based on portions and prices. I’m sure the owner is trying their best to stay above water with these trying times. So think about someone’s lively hood before making the statements you did.”

My husband had the shrimp and fish dish and I had the BLT which included fried green tomatoes. Also, my sweet potato fries were just right.\n\nOur service was excellent and we are sorry we were just passing through and are unlikely to be able to eat here again.”

“Just want to give a shout out and a great big THANK YOU to Scott's Walk-Up Bar-B-Que in Cartersville. Yesterday we were already stressing a little at work when we realized we had about 20 more guests than expected, coming to a very special, upper management, retirement luncheon. We left immediately and ran into Scott’s a few mins early for our pickup, in hopes that we could buy extra food to have enough. We told them where we were from and that we were there to pick up our order but needed to add to it if it all possible. They started looking at each other and things quickly felt a little uncomfortable, and sheer panic set in for us. We told them we had been talking to Julie and they said, “we don’t have a Juile. You must have ordered from the Scott’s in South Ga!” Dear Lord did the panic set in then!!! I said we have 70 people coming for a retirement luncheon in about 45 mins! Can you please help us??!! They asked what we needed, which included six butts with slaw, potato salad and beans and more tea. They quickly went to work and had us out of there in about 20 mins. THEY SAVED US AND WE ARE FOREVER GRATEFUL!!! And, as always, their food was amazing!! Please go support this business!! They are in Cartersville on Tennessee St. And keep them in mind if you are having an event in the area and are looking for great BBQ. They will take care of you! “Wholly Grounds is one of my go tos in Cartersville! The employees are always so sweet and the iced vanilla latte is one of my all time favorites. 😍🥰 It has an incredible, almost malt-like flavor. I also love that they are one of the only local coffee shops in the area that are open on Saturday and Sunday. Highly recommend!”

The for pizza is delicious, but my favorite so far is the elevated Bianca. If you love a white pizza, you have to try the elevated Bianca!”

I'm not sure if it was due to new employees or miscommunication, however, our order was missing several things that were corrected (we like to check before leaving the drive thru just in case there's any errors). We had ordered 2 kids meals, chili, burger meal and large fry. We were missing two spoons, and all fries. One small fry should have been in the chicken tender box, another for the kids burger and the other with the adult meal. Maybe they weren't cooked and ready yet? We were given a fork (maybe it was supposed to be the spoon for the chili). Not given a straw nor spoon for the shake. Just used the fork because I didn't want to ask for anything else at that point. Also, the shake nearly completely fell in my husband's lap. Some spilled out, but, they made a new one and was apologetic. The lid was not completely secured to the cup.
We were kind and patient, as was the one girl at the window, so I think it was just a lack of communication/new employee/misunderstanding. Two other employees were standing, maybe it wasn't busy at the moment. We were the only car in the drive thru.”

You never knew what was going to come out of his mouth. I think about the great times I had there often. Sue and Pete and Carol and Hoppy. People use to come up to me and say, you been to the 4 way I can smell it on you!!. Generations have eaten here. If I still lived in GA. I would be there. A burger with steak gravy and onions, doesn't get any better than that.”

This was the smallest scramble bowl I have received from any Chick-fil-A and my tea was fully unsweet, not half and half. This was not worth the money I spent!”

They change things up every now and then with a few different buffet options, and they also offer hot tea.
