“It is closer to a 5 than a 3.9 (ylp) on service and overall fit and finish alone. I think they are working a great model with a couple opportunities to tighten up.The Good: The service was as good as anyone can hope. Ambiance was nice, clean, and very comfortable (no booths but I get why). The food was satisfying overall. Everything came out quick (almost too quick, but not complaining). The Challenges: The lasagna was too salty. I deconstructed it, and it was the meat. Also, the pasta lacked structure consistently. It was an older crowd so maybe playing to the masses, but was far from al dente. We will try this again I think. The good parts were really good. This 5 is partly because I'm rooting for them and hoping they had an off night with the pasta and lasagna, which (lasagna) is hard if it's not fresh and executed properly.“
“We really loved the ambient and the food. I had a Chicken Marsala with gumbo soup ( not pictured - amazing) and baked potato. Flavor was on point and service was pretty good too. Don't forget to save space for a desert and come to thank me later.“
“4.3 overall for the people, ambiance, and food. Coffee is very good, not great. Yes, I would get coffee here again.Who else recalls when Anthony first opened the Cupbearer in this space? Then, The Copper Coin.Cortado was very good, having an excellent consistency and being at the top end of "good" hot. It was a bit more acidic than this dark-roast drinker favors.12oz Pumpkin Spice Latte was less great... the milk was overheated and pumpkin flavor was interesting.I did whole milk for both.Maybe... the path from good to great is to leave the lids off until the customer sees perfect microfoam atop their drink. Don't hide hard work under a lid... nor hide a mess.“
“My fiancé and I enjoyed this restaurant for the first time last night after she had searched it up on Google. It was a great find! She got the terra mare and I chose the lasagna. We ordered the bang bang shrimp and the bruschetta for appetizers and DID NOT need to-go boxes because everything was delicious and the portions were perfect! We did arrive hungry (neither of us had eaten lunch that day) and the food was brought out in a very timely manner. I HIGHLY recommend the lasagna and the bang bang shrimp…You will NOT be disappointed! My fiancé was thrilled as well with the bruschetta. It was my first time having it and it was fabulous!A little extra advice—Be aware of the credit card charge. It is a percentage of the total bill, meaning, DO NOT PAY FOR A TABLE OF 6 WITH A CREDIT CARD…it will be pricey! Use cash if possible.Parking: Parking was fine, just watch out for the golf carts.“
“We have added Eclipse into our regular places to go. The food is always so delicious as the service is top notch! We have had Tate a few times and she’s very lovely! We had Lance tonight and he’s just fantastic! So much so that I decided to write this review to let y’all know! They are everything you hope for when it comes to service. As someone in the industry myself I know how rare this has become. Never an issue here though!!“
“An amazing experience with decor that makes you immediately say 'ah'. The service was great, as were the food, drinks and atmosphere. We loved the beef curry crepes, Brussel sprouts and I personally ordered the most delicious Caesar salad with shrimp with crispy chickpeas. Please make this a destination when you are in the Avalon area, and I promise, you will be glad you came. BTW, we did make dinner reservations.Kid-friendliness: Good kids menu too“
“We have been trying to find the right time to get to Cork It and finally did! We went on a Saturday evening. Cork It had a very soothing ambiance, the staff was welcoming and very knowledgeable. We were a little disappointed that 2 items on the menu that we wanted to try they ran out of (the Pimento Cheese Bruschetta and Deviled egg Bruschetta) and they also had no olives. We ordered the small charcuterie and cheese board, Italian Panini, and Turkey Pesto Caprese. Everything was delicious. My husband ordered the Executive flight and I ordered the White flight - Sella Antica and Torresella being the favorites. We wanted to end the night with a dessert wine but sadly they were out of that too. We will definitely revisit Cork It again soon!“
“Fabulous. Host Sydney adorable, servers Lainy and Kat so nice but of course best getting a visit from famous Chef Liv! She Engaged the whole bar where we wee sitting.l and was so nice ans funny! Ok the food- Waghu meatballs were so delicious and the sauce was perfect. Pasta special was creamy perfection- would eat Every Day. Restaurant was full and bustling but not overcrowded. Cant wait for warmer temps to sit on that patio and enjoy a rose and charcuterie!“
“This is probably THE BEST Italian restaurant you will ever find in the Alpharetta/Roswell area. I'm not kidding. Almost everything here is made and cooked from scratch in their custom brick-oven (excluding pastas and salads). Their craft cocktails are $4 off on Thursdays, so their aperol spritz runs down to $3 (see the picture I snapped of the serving).Service is great and so is food! I have not a single complaint. Consider it champion.“
“I took my friend there for her first time and it was amazing! The food and wine choices are excellent. I had the Salmon (my friend, the Scallops) plus we ordered the Goat Cheese Beignets and Meatballs as appetizers. Everything was cooked perfectly and we will be going back very soon! I've had the same server, Jesse, several times and he is super knowledgeable and good at his job. Great experience all around!“
“Just went here for a birthday dinner. Nice atmosphere. Great service. Loved our waitress. Tons of gluten free options. Wonderful drink menu. Ate the best pork chops we've ever had. Oh, and the banana pudding creme brulee. We had the cheese plates. Fried chicken. Fried green tomatoes. Everything was so good.“
“Went here for the first time for Gwinnett burger week. The service was great and the food was excellent! The burger that came to our table looked spot on to the picture advertised and that is hardly ever heard of. We will definitely be going here again.“
“Prompt and friendly service. (5/5)Nice, pleasant atmosphere. Casual, but not loud--a more relaxing environment. My wife and I went for dinner on a Saturday evening around 5pm. It wasn't overly crowded. The clientele was, I'd kindly say, of the "older person" demographic. But my wife and I appreciated the calm, mild atmosphere--It made for a very pleasant evening (4/5)Caesar Salad: Not great, not bad either. Tasted like the pre-packaged salad mixes from the grocery store. I wasn't convinced that it was made in-house. (2.5/5)Spaghetti and Meatballs: The spaghetti was cooked properly (al dente), the red sauce was nicely seasoned and not acidic/sour. The meatballs had a soft texture. Not dry, but could have been juicier. They needed more seasoning. Quite bland. (3/5)Chicken Pamplona: Chicken breast stuffed with fontina and prosciutto and covered in marsala. Chicken was moist and very flavorful due to the saltiness of the prosciutto and savoriness of the sauce. I couldn't taste much of the fontina, and I could have used more mushrooms included in the sauce, but the sauce was very silky and smooth (not greasy or broken at all). (4/5)Overall, I would return. This place makes for a nice casual dinner. I would love to try some of their hoagies/sandwiches off of their lunch menu sometime.Would recommend.“
