“First time trying this place today and had the Turkey Wings (which I'm assuming were baked first and flash fried), Half Chicken with Mac, and some other random sides. The Turkey wings stole the show, absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection, not dry at all. The Half chicken was also good and cooked properly. The Mac was pretty good. Will definitely be back for the wings and to try some pork options once I start eating pork again.“
“All I can say is HOLY SMOKES!! This food is awesome. We had our wedding, 175 people, and everything was perfect! My guests were talking about how great the food was all night and I am so glad we went with Holy Smokes!! We had chicken, ham, green beans, loaded potato casserole (SO GOOD), and rolls. “Ordered the lunch combo with half Reuben and a Brunswick Stew. Reuben was delicious (maybe missing a spicy sauce), but the soup could’ve been warmer for my tastes. Not as savory of a soup as I expected, but for a lunch combo that comes out to under $10 in this economy is a damn good “
“We have always looked forward to this place as a favorite neighborhood venue for great food. We were so disappointed. My husband ordered his favorite burger and steak fries but received little greasy small fries mixed with old fries in a metal basket. It is not as shown in our earlier photos from past visits. I ordered a Greek grilled salmon salad and got a nugget sized piece instead of a great $18 salad sized serving. When I asked about it, the server said the prices went up. The quality and appearance of what was one of our favorite places to eat out has seriously declined. Very disappointed ?“

“We visited Waffle House on Dacula Rd in Dacula on Christmas Day 12/25/2023. Our food was delicious and the server, Alieaster, did a great job. The juke box music was too loud so I sent a complaint directly to Waffle House website online. I was so impressed they called back and told me the jukebox had been turned down and hoped we would return. We went back 1/1/2024. The food was delicious & our server, Janet did a great job and yes, the juke box was turned down to the appropriate volume. I played all my favorite country music songs by George Strait!!! We had a lovely time. I want you to know they have increased the staff and they are all so friendly and ready to serve you. The place was spotless. I am so impressed how things have turned around for the best at this Waffle House location. We had stop going for a while to this location and we were so pleased when a friend told us we could go back now. They had hired all new staff...it's true. Great food & great service & the music volume just right on the jukebox.“

“They helped us pull off a birthday celebration from out of state. Rachel, their event manager was SO VERY HELPFUL and communicated often with me. She went above and beyond to make this a special, and beautiful occasion for our mom's 80th birthday party. I was able to ship decorations, and she had them ready for us. “We have been coming here for years and can definitely say it’s one of the best local spots for brunch! They have a variety of dishes and daily specials that is always a hit! The environment is cute and cozy while the staff are friendly and welcoming. Their signature whipped coffee is a must! They have a delicious churro waffle but this time, I got the special coconut waffle and it was sooooooo amazing, you didn’t even need to put syrup on it. I am still drooling writing this, it was soooo good! The food always come out hot and fresh! It’s fun coming here because you can also build your own biscuit! I highly recommend to all family and friends!!!“
