“Delicious authentic Jamaican food! The brown stew chicken is amazing! Definitely our favorite. We did the pick 2 chicken plates with rice and peas and plantains and added on drinks. My order was incorrect but still good. I was given the bbq chicken instead of brown stew. The bbq doesn’t have any sauce it’s really more so grilled so barbecued in that way. Not a lot of flavor but well executed for that. The curry was flavorful and they mixed the rice and peas with the gravy. The jerk had a little kick to it and the second plate had gravy from the brown stew which made the rice and peas sweet. They sold out of beef patties but the chicken patty was tasty. We will definitely be back for the brown stew chicken and to try more options.“

“I've been eating here for almost two years. The customer service can use some improvement. The food hands down is my favorite Jamaica spot to go. The beef patties are good. I've had the curry goat which is my favorite. The jerk pasta is my daughter favorite. The beef patties Is a family favorite. The older age wo.a. is very kind everything I come. The younger two ladies attitudes are a hit and miss. Sometimes it's good and sometimes it's horrible. I'll prefer the mother to be at the front. I do love the food here. Try it for yourself tell them I sent you.“

“I’ve been looking for a good Caribbean restaurant in the ATL for a while. The food was good and service was spot on! I told the server it was first time and she explained that a plate came with a meat and two sides and the plantain came with dinner. I had jerk salmon, kale, with rice and peas. Awesome flavors. The plantain was NOT sweet but I will be back.“

I love the poster on the wall listing all the accomplished Jamaicans in various industries. I love the pride they have in their people! “I ordered here once a few years back and couldn’t remember if I enjoyed it so I stopped by again yesterday. I ordered a small jerk chicken, I wanted a beef patty but they were out. The jerk plate was good, food was fresh, I asked for just rice and meat but they gave me cabbage and plantain as well (it was tasty but I didn’t eat cause I didn’t want it). The chicken and rice & peas were so good; I wish they gave a little more rice, but they meat was plentiful. Customer service wasn’t friendly but they weren’t disrespectful or rude to me, and although there was a bit of a crowd as I came in, I was served quickly and out the door. Oh just a heads up, it’s 27 cent for extra jerk sauce (for anyone who likes a lot of sauce for their meat). Will be returning for the food for sure.“

“Stopped in this little spot for a quick lunch when traveling for business. We were greeted by the sweetest, most welcoming woman with her kind words and big smile.I had the jerk chicken meal with rice and peas. I chose the white meat chicken which was slightly dry, so I would probably do a mix of white and dark or just dark next time. My coworker had the ox tails meal wish he was kind enough to share. I’ve never had ox tails but would consider them now that I’ve tried them.I would recommend this place for anything looking for authentic Caribbean cuisine!“
“We finally had the opportunity to try out this restaurant! And it was well worth the wait We ordered the oxtail (well seasoned and cooked to perfection) with rice and peas (the peas were this yummy looking pea that resembled a black eye pea). The plantains were delicious. Can't speak on the cabbage because I don't like cabbage and cabbage doesn't like me !!! The owner/chef named Cherlynn (hopefully that's how she spells her name) was friendly and informative. She told us her food is organic and she gets her meats from a farm in Tennessee (aka farm to table)!! We wanted to try the red snapper, however it's cooked to order (from cleaning to seasoning and preparation)....so remember to call ahead. As for the meat patties they were gone also....so I'll call ahead the next time I return (again and again as long as she chooses to be here)!!! Sorry no pics we devoured the food as soon as we got home!!“
