“We loved it here so much we came back twice in a 3 day period. So many great menu options. The view on the lake is beautiful. Delicious food. Easily enjoy amazing weather with the deck/patio style seating. Really great all around.

Only complaint is we had a hard time getting drink refills. And it took a long time to be able to put an order in for our food. Waitresses just seemed to disappear for bits at a time but were good when they were around.

Definitely highly recommend the deep fried green tomatoes!!! They were a family favorite for sure. Honestly all of the food we got everyone loved. It seems you can’t go wrong here.”

“Second time coming here and was blown away again! This time I tried the Spicy Bulgogi Pork Rice Bowl which was delicious and full of flavor! My wife got the Sake Don which is similar to a Poke Bowl but way better. We also ordered a “For Your Girl” roll and that was awesome! The staff is always very helpful and willing to answer any questions you may have. Will definitely be returning because there are several other things on the menu that I want to try. And judging by my two visits so far I’m sure I will not be disappointed!”

“Service was super nice! The milk tea I got was a little too bitter for my liking and the girl at front desk switched for me in no second. I then got a white peach blossom milk tea which is pretty good. You definitely taste the tea. Great ambiance and music background to study or work! Recommended.”

“We love trying new Italian. We always get a meat pizza and a lasagna to try our first time. I do believe it’s our favorite local Italian restaurant so far! Delicious!! We’ve been back a few times already and the food is consistently good. Prices are in line with portions too.”

“Christy catered our wedding reception and words cannot describe how satisfied we are! We told her the style of our wedding and she created a menu based on the price range we wanted and everybody loved it. The desserts were delicious as well and she did a great job with our cake too.”

“I’m not typically a huge fan of bbq because if the intense smokey, salty flavor. The pulled pork was perfect! Flavor was so good, just the right amount of ‘smoke’! The sides were delicious as well.”

“Yesterday I tried this place for the first time and it was soo good, I got the fried chicken tender sandwich with fries and it was perfectly seasoned, today I came back and got the Buffalo chicken wrap with pasta, the wrap was good however was barely any Buffalo sauce in it so it was like a regular wrap, if it had more buffalo sauce it would be amazing!”

“J Christopher has been our favorite breakfast spot since the Duluth days, well before expanding. Thankfully, it’s still our favorite after yesterday’s food, service, and price experience. We had a Billy goat omelette with spinach, goat cheese, and turkey sausage- mane, so good! We also had a traditional breakfast- pancakes, grits, bacon and eggs. Our server (Amy) was on point, attentive and most importantly, a nice person. When servers like each other, service is excellent and the vibe is right. Amy and a colleague were working multiple tables but still having fun on the job- an Owners’s Dream! With that, we highly recommend JC above 2. Snooze, 3. Flying Biscuit, 4. First Watch 5. Oui, and 6. Cracker Barrel. The JC Flowery Branch location is almost never crowded and your food is out after a short wait.”

“First visit. Will definitely return. Food is excellent and portions are good size. Warm & inviting, small restaurant atmosphere. All staff we interacted with were very friendly. Our server, Trish, was friendly, attentive and stopped by frequently to make sure we were satisfied.

“Old Mill is a fabulous place to go anytime of day. I usually go after I finish my workout for a loaded tea. Their shakes are great as well (high protein) And it’s a major plus that they are super friendly every time you go in! I highly recommend checking them out!”

Upon arriving to Huey Magoos on 7310 Spouts Spring Rd, Flowery Branch., Ga, 30542, I have to say the restaurant is amazing. Once we arrived we were nicely greeted. We had ordered our food and sat down. As we were having our food handed to us we realized part of our order was missing. I mentioned to our servant we were missing a 3 piece meal. The young lady checked our receipt and said we only ordered 2 meals opposed to 3 meals. I had mentioned I would go and purchase the missing meal. The young lady Stephanie utilized her amazing customer service and said “ no worries you stay put and I’ll go and get the meal you were missing”. The training that was given to Stephanie was practiced by her to the fullest extent. She is an amazing servant who made a rapid decision to make things right for the customer. Thank you Stephanie for your service.”

“We have been traveling for the past few months from NC to Atlanta to the Shepherd Center to see family. We found this little jewel early on and always stop now. Hannah is an ah-mazing waitress and even though we don’t come often, remembers us and our drinks. Great food and true hometown feeling. Wish we lived closer!”

“Come here to eat quite a bit and their food is good most of the time. Something really stellar is that they can accommodate food allergies (limited options of course) but still. It’s nice there is some effort and they even have gluten-free soy sauce!

Dietary restrictions: Knowledgeable and accommodating for food allergies. Ask to change gloves if sensitive to cross contamination. No separate food prep areas, but they take allergies seriously.”
