“Quiet dining, but it was late and not crowded inside. Friendly waitress and very attentive. Service was fast and food was tasty. Have not stopped here in years until the other night.The neon Carey Hillard’s sign outside is in need of repair, several lights burnt out. Pleasant experience, worth the drive.Parking: Parking is tight, especially for drive-in spot next to building. Not made for large vehicles, cars, or large pickups. Not well lite, Although great place to take your date if you’re on a tight budget compared to other restaurant prices.“

“First time to visit Noble Fare and it was exceptional! Our server was Ben, and we knew from the first moment we met, he loved his job and was very accomplished at it!We loved the atmosphere and the decor. Our salads were fresh and delicious, the entrees (scallops for me, filet for my handsome fella’) were prepared perfectly and the dessert was a warm chocolate topping to a lovely experience! We will return and request Ben to be our server again!“

“While in Savannah, my girlfriend's and I knew we wanted to have a low country boil! I loved the casualness of the atmosphere. It was a fun experience and the food was good! I ordered the crab legs and shrimp but I highly recommend paying a little extra to have them peel the shrimp for you. Located conveniently near lots of other nightlife, it was a great place to grab a bite before a night out. The service was awesome, everyone was very nice.“

“Great bar right downtown Savannah. I had the crab cakes and my friend had the oysters, both excellent. The Bartender (can't recall his name, Pax maybe?) was absolutely amazing. One of the most talented bartenders I've ever seen. Definitely worth the stop if you're in town.“

“11/10. My husband and I loved everything we ate from here. Started with the calamari and French onion soup. The calamari was very fresh tasting. He got the special which was a ribeye with mushrooms and it was topped with a Demi glaze. The steak was tender and cooked perfectly and my husband said it was one of the best from a restaurant which Is a large compliment since his are cooked to perfection at home. I had the Atlantic shellfish melange and it was amazing. All the seafood in it was seasoned and cooked to perfection. We finished with the crème brûlée and it was the best I’ve ever had. Let’s not forget the blueberry lemon martini I had. We sat outside and it was a perfect evening for it and we had great service. It was all so so good and we 100% will be retuning when we come back to Savannah.“

“Our group chose Vic's River Grill for a birthday celebration and it was definitely over the top! Starting with the organizer, Nicole, making everything absolutely perfect upon our arrival to our Kate, otherwise known as our most superb server, and finally to the appearance by the precious co-owner/chef, Wheaton, who visited to make certain all were pleased! The food, the cocktails, the champagne, and the ambiance were absolutely awesome! Among our group of 12, I believe we taste-tested almost the entire menu and the food was amazing! The delivery was impressive for a group of our size and the presentations were spectacularly done! Whether dinner for a couple, brunch for friends, or hosting a larger event, Vic's River Grill is a top choice!“

“This was my first trip to Savannah. Always look for the “best of” and indeed this spot lived up to the hype. The house made sour dough with habanero butter was devine. I started with the granita oysters which were so tasty, perfect balance. For my entree had the lamb sausage which was the best of all. Highly recommend 1540 and Trish who was helpful, on point, and really made the southern hospitality shine through.“

“My partner and I went there for our anniversary and it did not disappoint. The environment really shines after sunset with its candle lighting. The food was amazing, my favorite part of the dinner was the appetizer. We had the mussels which were savory and salty with a hit of spice at the end. Afterwards I had the curry while they had the ribeye. Both were delicious, the ribeye was tender and juicy while the curry was complex and warm. For desert we had the house made ice cream as well as a chocolate bark. The bark was not to my liking personally (I’m not a fan of bitter chocolates). The house made banana ice cream though was exquisite. Smooth, creamy ice cream with a strong taste of real banana.“

“The Raw Oysters were great! We got the sampler dozen. Yuzu extract was very weak, couldn't really tell it was Yuzu. Lemon went very well with the Oysters though.I had the Red Snapper entree, and the fish was cooked to perfection, but the asparagus looked big and very not easy to eat. Pretty, but lost functionality.“

“Food was wonderful and the service perfect. The standouts were the brisket, fried shrimp and oysters, brussel sprouts, Cole slaw, gumbo and crab stew. So, basically everything we ordered! I actually ordered the slaw but once my husband tasted it and liked it so much he took it from me.Also shout out to Jamal our waiter. Great recommendations from him.“

“We spent the entire meal saying YUM. I'm usually not very impressed at steakhouses since they all tend to have the same thing but this was one of the best meals I've had in a while. My husband and I stayed at the Plant Riverside for our anniversary and decided on the Stone & Webster for our celebratory dinner. We made a last minute decision to try dinner here so we didn't have a reservation but we're able to have full service sitting at the bar and it was great. Taylor, the bartender, was a GEM! She was so attentive, friendly and offered great suggestions. What we ordered: Filet Wagu steak frites Mushrooms Squash Broccolini The steaks were cooked perfectly and well seasoned. The sides really made the meal that much better though. If you go here you cannot sleep on the side dishes. I'm still drooling over the mushrooms. Everything we had was so delicious. Since we were celebrating an anniversary we were also treated to some macrons which were also very tasty, lemon & pistachio. Oh and if you're a whiskey drinker they have a great selection. 10/10 experience, ambiance and service. Would definitely go back if we visited town again.“

“We were in Savannah for St Patrick’s Day & looking for a good soul food restaurant. We searched & stumbled onto 2 Chefs Gullah Geechee Soul Food. The food was awesome. I had the red rice, collards, Mac & cheese & fried fish. We really enjoyed our meals & we will definitely be back next time we visit Savannah.“

“This restaurant was fantastic! I cannot say enough good things about it! The staff was informative and attentive and made sure we always had whatever we wanted. The atmosphere is great and restaurant was clean and fun to be in from start to finish. I loved the overall atmosphere because they have made it so you have privacy with your group but there is still a larger experience of the restaurant. The drinks and bartender was fantastic and efficient! The food was also amazing! I had a series of oysters as an appetizer and then a scallop risotto that was perfectly cooked. I am Italian and super picky when it comes to risotto and this was great risotto. The scallops were perfectly cooked. My husband got a chicken Caprese which is a somewhat lighter version of chicken parm and it was flavorful and light and tender. Dessert was also fantastic. I cannot wait to come back here!“

“The atmosphere is very dark and sexy located at the bottom of the Alida Hotel. The service was friendly, but sometimes could lack attention. But the food quality surpasses everything, and it is definitely worth a visit. The prices are not that high you would spend just as much money as going to a P.F. Chang's or a Cheesecake Factory. This was a little bit too salty for me but for the appetizer we got CRISPY CALAMARI BANANA PEPPERS, CALABRIAN CHILIS, PARSLEY, CILANTRO, ROSEMARY AIOLI. My main entree was the best burger I have ever had. It was the first time I could eat a burger without it sliding off the bun. From the bun to the sauce to the cheese and pickles everything was perfection. RHETT SMASH BURGER TWO BEEF PATTIES, AMERICAN CHEESE, RED ONION, PICKLES, NORFOLK SAUCE, OLD BAY FRIES. And dessert was just okay for me to much cream not enough banana. BANANA PUDDING WAFERS, VANILLA PUDDING, CREAM“

“EGG-SULL-LINT!!! Excellent!! We had grilled shrimp, scallops, snapper, boiled crawdads (that had garlic butter on them), salad (colorful, crisp, awesome), garlic mashed potatoes (you could taste the real garlic), fried okra (tender), and hush puppies. A lucky find on our visit to celebrate our wedding anniversary!! Not a fancy restaurant by any means but adequate and extremely clean! Service was on point!“

“Wish we would have taken pictures. All of the food was great. I’ve eaten at a lot of more hyped restaurants in/around the area, and I found myself enjoying this more than any of them.We went twice in two days (it wasn’t the plan, but the experience was so great that we found ourselves double dipping).Great service. We booked a table online just to be safe. That went perfectly and we were seated as soon as we arrived. Our waiters were each really nice— willing to offer suggestions and consistently attentive.For the food, we got four entrees in our two visits: the shrimp and grits, the low country Mac and Cheese, the Steak, Egg, and Grits, then finally the chicken and waffle gyro. Here’s how I’d rank them:1) Shrimp and Grits- big shrimp and chorizo on top of the great Gouda cheese grits. The separator is the bbq guajilo sauce. It’s smoky and tangy. Not much heat, but a bit of spice— if that makes sense. Try this.2) Steak, egg, and grits. I got my steak medium rare, and loved this dish. Chimichurri sauce with the egg yolk smothering the steak, then getting a smidge of the grits was everything you hope it would be. I’m sad that it’s over, but I’m glad that it happened.3) Low Country Mac. There’s a big jump from the top 2 down to this one. This isn’t bad by *any* means— just a bit one note. It does that note really well. Big shrimp, chunks of sausage, and a bunch of creamy Mac and cheese. It’s really good. Just about what I expected, and the above two dishes went above and beyond.4) Chicken and Waffle Gyro. Again, still really good. Any of these dishes are worth getting and I would get them again. The waffle gyro was really interesting, and the chicken was great. A little sweet for my tastes, but sweetness is expected with this dish.Bonus review in case you made it through my long winded opinion: the pork and donut sliders were great. I thought they’d be gimmicky and too sweet. Our waiter (the GOAT) suggested that we tack on the side of Gouda cheese sauce, and it wasn’t merely an upsell. The Gouda sauce is the perfect compliment to this dish.Bonus bonus review in case you made it through the bonus review following my long winded opinion: great cocktails. They all taste great, and pack a punch. Everything felt well blended and intentional as opposed to the maligned concoction of sugar juice and a shot of vodka that one tends to receive in other nearby establishments.Try it if you haven’t.“

“Let me start off by saying that when I called David's Crab House, I spoke with the owner. He's a veteran, so it was an extra level of respect for him. I'm also a veteran, so that is a bond right of the back.I have a friend who is from the area but lives in NY, where I also live, but she always brings me David's Crabs when she comes home.Driving from visiting grandkids in Tallahassee, Florida to SC, I had to stop in Savannah GA. At David's Crabs ? House!By the way.. someone else was in there from NY.. driving through and said he always stops there for David's exceptional garlic blue ?.They are worth the stop if your in the area... it of a few miles.Think about that discount for military David.. lol“

“Stopped in on a whim and what a pleasant surprise! I expected good bar food and got really good anywhere food. Totally laid back atmosphere and the bartender, Kelly, was the sweetest, funniest and most accommodating person we've run into in a long time. Highy recommend. We had the tuna stack, crab and Lobster dip, grilled Lobster and cheese sandwich. All were delicious. The drink list is extensive but all we tried was the watermelon margaritas with jalapeño infused tequila. Yummy!“

“I was flabbergasted. The menu is broad, price is on point, the presentation and taste is perfection. I got the Snow Crab with medium De Jor spice/sauce, came with corn and potato. Let me tell you I was MOPPING that Cajun herb sauce stuff up with everything in sight... including the chicken tenders from the basket I got as a side. We didn't realize the succotash was cooked with wine (we don't like the taste of alcohol) and the manager offered to make it over without the wine at no extra cost! Very personable and accommodating. “Have been to a few Korean BBQ restaurants over the years and Madame Butterfly definitely is near, if not at the top, of the list. The meats were all tender and plentiful. If you're local or in Savannah visiting, definitely check it out.“

“My first time, taken by a friend that has been there over the past 5 years. It was good, but I would try it again before I finished my assessment. The menu was short and varied - great. The service was prompt and friendly. The presentation of the food was well done. However, my Pork Chop was a tad bit gristly. The blackened tuna was very blackened, which I like, but not my friend. Overall nice/great. Atmosphere was perfect. One thing - the noise was horribly loud when the place was full. They have too many hard surfaces that bounce the soundwaves, and it was noticeably hard to hear. I will try again. I'm giving at a 3.75“

“Wow!! OD Seafood is my new favorite place!! My wife and I are in the process of relocating to Savannah from the Emerald Coast of Florida. Seafood restaurants are abundant. I have caught and eaten more than my share of fresh seafood. A few weeks ago I placed an order and Tiffany, the wonderful young lady taking my order, made sure that I was calling the right restaurant location. This was my 2nd night in town, so I didn't know that there were 2 locations. Tiffany was amazing and the food was great!! I arrived in town tonight and came straight to OD Seafood to try it again. I was greeted by very friendly staff and saw many happy customers enjoying their meals. The atmosphere was very welcoming!! Ms. Tiffany, the same young lady from my initial encounter a few weeks earlier, took amazing care of me once again!! Several other staff members made their rounds and checked on me and the other customers over the course of my visit. I'm from the south and catfish was certainly a dish that my family from Louisiana knew how to cook. I'm also a pushover for fried shrimp and scallops, OD Seafood offers a heavenly platter that satisfies my desire for all three!! Thank you to the staff! I will certainly be back!!“

“For a close to the airport restaurant it was a really nice place. It was crowded at the bar when I arrived on a PGA Saturday evening . As a solo traveler I just wanted to sit at the bar and have a beer while I waited for my to go order to take back to the hotel. The bartenders were very nice and attentive and there was a good mix of regulars and travelers which means the food must be good, not just a convenience. Would definitely come here again if I ever find myself staying close to the Savannah airport before an early flight home the next day.“

“The food was amazing! I went to Venson Cafe for the first time on 7/5 and ended up going back on 7/6 because the food was that good! We literally had to stop before we traveled back to DC for more wet lemon pepper wings! I had both the dry and wet lemon pepper wings, fries, some fresh juice they sell, and desserts were FYE!!!! Do yourself a favor and stop by! They’ll get you right at Venson Cafe!“

“I've reduced a star because it is *not* the type of seafood I wanted, but it is in NO way bad! If you like low country boil style with minimal heat, you may love it! Has nice flavor and seasoning, but just not what I personally was looking for.For *me* I wanted a very spicy boil smothered in garlic, the Viet-Cajun style of New Orleans & Houston. The pictures looked like it might be it, but sadly this ain't that, and that's ok. I still enjoyed it.I got the spicy shrimp with cajun & garlic seasoning but I did not see a single piece of minced garlic, and I was hoping it would be smothered. It is not! I did not feel any spice to the "hot" and that was the most disappointing part. I am used to being a snotty, buttery mess but I was ok. Bummer, tbh.Overall, this place is tasty and enjoyable and I would recommend this place to those who have not experienced the Viet-Cajun crawfish boils.Oh yeah, you can't get crawfish rn because of global warming/droughts, so that is not their fault.“

“Ok so looking into the eyes of dead seafood is not a great atmosphere, the fresh seafood will make up for it. They will fry the shrimp and oysters while you wait. Any quantity. They also sell all types of seafood by the pound. No seating so take it home or to Daffin Park for a pick-nick!! Call ahead to get order started.Parking: Parking is wide open. Never a problem.“

“The 5oz lemon pepper salmon with veggies, and fried rice was delicious. the salmon was perfectly cooked and flakey. Veggies consisted of onions, zucchini, and squash with a subtle sweet and almost smokey sauce. Would definitely come here again to try more of the menu. Very affordable. The server Amber, was very attentive, friendly, and had a calm, warm energy about her.“

“On a nice Saturday afternoon, sun shining, music playing, having a beer and some seafood at the district along the river - it doesn’t get much better than that! Although the bartenders were busy, they did a really nice job of taking care of our group. The service was great.I didn’t get the fish n chips but definitely had food envy; my buddy said it was awesome. Shrimp and grits also gave me food envy/fomo. The French fry’s were actually low key legit. Great spot to have some beers and good seafood by the river.“
