“We were in the area and hadn't visited this restaurant before, but knowing Mellow Mushroom wouldn't disappoint, we decided to check it out. The restaurant was very clean and bright. As we walked in, Ida greeted us and told us to pick our spot. Ida was quick to take our order and so pleasant to talk to...in fact I noted two kitchen staff bring out to go orders while we were there, and both, Amanda and unfortunately I didn't hear anyone call out the young man's name, but both of them provided exemplary customer service. I don't say that often, I'm a retired service level manager, so that word is exactly appropriate. They even opened the box and asked their customer if it looked good to them and thanked them for visiting. Now the food, we ordered the house special, of course it was excellent, and they didn't skimp on the toppings, the bruschetta was delicious. In fact, we ate it and some pizza slices before I even thought about taking pictures to share. It's roughly a 35-minute drive from my home, but we'll be back soon. “We stopped in last night after gymnastics practice and were thoroughly pleased. With all the amazing pizza places we have it’s hard to just rely on Papa John’s anymore. We got a Margherita and a St. Giovanni. Both were excellent and the crust was amazing. Even our picky 2 year old devoured the crust. The wine selection leaves a little room for improvement but overall we enjoyed our pizza and dinner! Thank you!“
“20+/- years ago, we followed Joe from a corner pizza shack to his brainchild, Verra-Zanno. Good place, always very busy, because of Joe, good food and great service from gorgeous waitresses. We never did figure out where he found them. Me and my buds were regulars until I moved away 7 years ago. Came back to visit this week and met my friends for lunch. Place looked the same, felt the same, still cute efficient servers, but NOT busy at all. Had my old usual, ordered to split an antipasto salad and small pep pizza with a friend and we prepared for disappointment. Nope, both were better than before. This is the best salad in town! Pizza is perfect, too. This place should still be killing it. What's wrong with you folks in Johns Creek and St Ives? I only wish i could pack it up and take it back to Florida with me. “Gluten free pizza is the best I’ve ever had! I’m not gluten free but it tied it for my mother in law who is. Romeos pizza is honestly the best. Their wings are amazing too. This is that nostalgic feeling pizza and wing place I don’t want to go anywhere for pizza. I’ve had a lot of pizza in the area because it’s the main thing we like to eat and I’m so happy we found Romeo’s because you get great pizza wings. Even the crust is good. We have done take out and eating in. Eating is chill, nothing special but a cozy spot to eat. No one’s going to serve you, which is ok! You go up order your food and sit down and someone brings it to you. “I'm from NY and I was missing eating in Little Italy so I came here. I had no expectations because a lot of the food down here is just not comparable to back home, no offense. I can't speak for the pizza (which I will definitely be coming back for soon because this place is really good) but I ordered mussels and had a glass of sangria. The mussels were really good and I'm very happy. The boys behind the counter are sweet, friendly, and respectful. I'll definitely be coming back here and am happy that after two months of living in GA I found a place like this.“
