“We shared the special of the night which was a 16oz boneless rib eye that had a light parmesan cheese sauce, mashed potatoes, grilled broccolini and little shrimp on top of the steak. It was cooked to perfection and the was shrimp delicious too. The bartender knows her cocktail proportions so our drinks were very tasty and well balanced. We each had dessert. I had the special, which was tasty; however when I go back I'll definitely get the Cracked Pie! Highly recommend eating here.“
“Daisy’s is my without question favorite bar in Macon. The Tequila is always fantastic and no matter what I order I am always delighted with my drink! The bartenders Rudie and Mary are also great and always efficient, happy and polite and makes the best drinks in town BY FAR! Can’t wait to return and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Daisy’s Tequila Bar to anyone looking for somewhere to hangout and have a good time in Macon.“
“We had a great experience. It was a beautiful day so they had the roll-up doors open..... cool vibe in the place, TV's everywhere! The food was phenomenal! I got the wings with hot Chipotle sauce and it was delicious. And my wife got the bacon cheeseburger. The bacon could have been a little more crispier. But other than that, all the food was fantastic and we also got an appetizer: The queso con carne which was freaking delicious. I highly recommend this place and I will be back soon to try those mozzarella cheese sticks that the guy next to me had, they looked good.Parking: Easy free parkingKid-friendliness: Great kids menuWheelchair accessibility: Plenty of handicap parking and ramp“
“My wife and I recently visited Macon, my hometown and were fortunate enough to spend an evening in the Woodward. The checkin process was super simple, even though we messed up the date of our stay. A staff member quickly saw us struggling with the keypad, figured out the problem, ushered us to the bar for a delicious cocktail and fixed the issue (caused by me not them!) with grace and efficiency. My wife’s initial reaction when we walked in the room was “This is the nicest hotel I’ve ever stayed in!” The room was large and well appointed, with amazing ceilings and natural light. Everything was spot on, down to the wonderful shampoo, conditioner and body wash. The linens were to die for and I really wanted to take the mattress home with us. My wife is usually up no later than 6am, I’ve never seen her sleep past 7. She was still sleeping soundly at 8:30! We had a short walk to a fantastic dinner at Dovetail, with many other restaurants also a convenient walk. All in all this was a perfect room in a beautiful downtown setting, can’t recommend it highly enough!“
“I will definitely be back my first time trying out this restaurant. It did not disappoint many choices on the menu to your liking. The lollipop lamb chops we're chopping cooked to perfection . It was a great birthday dinner. Everyone enjoyed their meal and service.“
“Entry was seamless. Once inside a waitress point out where we could sit no one ever came to our table to take our order so after about 30-45 mins we decided to go to the bar and place it. The food was really good we had the honey hot wings and buffalo chicken fries. The drinks were also good but for some reason the bar tender kept leaving off the candy garnish even after I requested multiple times. maybe the didn’t have it because I don’t believe she change me the additional fee for it but if that was the case I wish she would have just advised that. It wasn’t too crowded this particular night. Overall pretty decent place, will return.Vegetarian options: Some menu items are vegetarian or can be customized to a vegetarian diet.Parking: Every one normally parks on the parks in a nearby tire shop parking lot that is typically closed at night or on the street as the parking meters are turned off“
“I ordered take out for me and my boyfriend for dinner. We had combo A which was 1 LB Shrimp, 1/2 LB sausage, 3 potatoes, 2 eggs, 1 corn, and a basket of Tilapia fish. The food was very declious. This will be my new favorite seafood restaurant.“
“I came with a friend on a week night. When we arrived there was no one there so we were able to easily take a seat at the bar. Service was quick because of this. I started with the Win Lose Or Draw which is a take on the French 75. Very good. I then tried the Laid Back which was also very good. Though in the moment I think I enjoyed the first cocktail a bit more. Unfortunately it was a bit chilly out to sit outside, but the outdoor area looked very nice. Inside was spacious enough. Love that the building is now a hotel and bar! Downtown has changed a lot over the last decade and this was a nice addition. There was only one bartender. Over the time I was there everyone who came through was served relatively quickly. So it seems that on a chill night one bartender works nicely enough. However, I can't imagine how service could be during busier times. Despite this I enjoyed my time and service. Next time though I really hope to be able to enjoy the outside rooftop area.“
“We LOVE a tiki bar and have no idea why more cities don't have them. This one is super fun! Everyone was enjoying a drink that is finished with flames. Love the constant Gilligan's Island on the bar tv. The "Missionary's Downfall" and Mai Tai were delish! Bar tenders were friendly, enthusiastic, and efficient - they look like they are having fun!!“
