“Went with a large group for Easter, and I made the mistake of ordering a steak at an Italian restaurant. I’m not sure what I was thinking. The garlic mashed potatoes and the asparagus, as well as the complimentary bread were all delicious. The steak was tender and looked pretty, but didn’t taste like much of anything. It was kind of strange. Other family members enjoyed their food: lobster ravioli, chicken ravioli, a shrimp and scallop pasta special, kids spaghetti, etc. I also very much enjoyed my strawberry lemonade. The staff were great, bathrooms were cleaned, lots of parking, and easy to get to. I’d come back, but just not for steak.”

They were heavenly. They were hot and soft. In fact I appreciate the temperature of all the food. It was all very hot and fresh. I also got the macaroni and cheese and the bass. Those items were okay. I feel they both couldn't been seasoned more. The sunflower seeds on the bass was interesting. My boyfriend got the crab cakes, grits, and rice. I can't recall the name of the rice right now, but it was a fried rice. It was delicious. Probably the best thing we ordered, besides the bread. The host and servers were really nice and attentive. I would go by to try different dishes.”
“A local favorite and highly recommended. It's almost a whole in the wall family restaurant. The food is exceptional. They open at 4:30 and was quickly full on a Friday night.The entrees are huge with fresh catch options. We decided to have an assortment of appetizers to try more items. Gator, pimento cheese balls, grouper, blackened tuna, crawfish, and voodoo shrimp. We finished with homemade key lime pie.There is a self-service bar on the left side.”

“My son and I tried Kimchi Factory yesterday. Wonderful experience, great service and delicious food! Declared this our new favorite place to eat. Super friendly staff, can’t wait to try another dish. I had Beef Bulgogi and my son some Ramen noodle soup. Piping hot and huge portions. I would highly recommend this place in the old Len Berg’s building, off Walnut. They do offer lunch prices but don’t have a separate lunch menu displayed, just ask.”

“I can’t believe it has been over 20 years since I have had one of these ham and cheese wraps!! I remember eating these wraps weekly at Hovan Gourmet in the Macon Mall. What a treat to find them again! The wrap is just as good as it was back then and the owners are just as sweet as I remember them ❤️You have to try it! I will be back!”

But it is comfy and welcoming and nice to be in.Second, service. Great! They were insanely busy but very kind and attentive when they brought the food. Helpful if you had questions. Patient and charismatic when taking your order. Nothing more you could ask for!Annnnnd the food: Delicious. I think I could have made a meal out of the sloppy breadsticks and free refills alone. SO good! But the pizza was worth the wait! Covered to the edges, fresh, hot and VERY reasonable. I think next time I'll get it a little more well done but I have no complaints. “Always the best for many years. The owners are sweet and the space is very cozy for a gigantic pho meal. Although, after I try a new dish here it’s hard to go back to the last. Easy to become obsessed with the one until randomly going with another, then repeat. If you don’t want pho randomly on a Tuesday in June they got amazing vermicelli dishes. This place will always be a core memory. Can’t live in Macon respectfully without visiting this plaza.”
“My husband and I love their food, the Crab Rangoon are the best In Macon, The Sesame Chicken is awesome. We highly recommend it based on food alone. The Prices of food are very competitive and the food portion size is very good for the money. What Can they Improve on Primarily Customer Service. Some workers are great at it some are weaker with it.and need a little help. My husband and I are blind and have ordered through door dash a few times, well tonight the restaurant never confirmed our order, The Restaurant Claims that Door Dash has to Do it, and Door Dash says the restaurant has to go to their app and confirm the order. Now i have no dinner and have to wait 5 days to get my money Back. we even called the store and asked them to confirm and my husband said the guy who answered the phone was really short. It would be a great idea to train the employees on this system and how to properly use it. I will update this review after a few more orders. If you have never eaten here before, i recommend giving it a try. I have absolutely no problem with the food, its wonderful. it is my hope that the restaurant uses this review both for encouragement and to improve on their weaknesses. Will Definitely Order again.”
“We went as a group of 3 to celebrate my aunt's birthday! It was Cherry Blossom weekend so parking was a mission. My mom is on a scooter so zooming by in the rain was a necessity. The restaurant is very inviting and lively. Colorful in Mexican tradition with Hispanic music playing in the background. There were so many option on the menu, it was hard to choose. Our server gave us many suggestions and all the food she suggest was WOW! We ate two orders of Salsa, queso dip and nachos! My aunt ordered the Texas fajitas platter( steak, chicken and shrimp) this included rice, beans, guacamole, sour cream, veggies, cheese and tortillas. She could not get enough. My mom ordered the Molcajete with all the meats( steak, chicken, chorizo and shrimp) with tortillas and fried cheese....it's A LOT of food! Obviously we helped her eat it. I got taquitos fritos de barbacoa. They were covered in crema, cheese and avocado. Delicious! I was so full. This food is one of the best Mexican restaurants I've eaten at. Everything was prepared to perfection. Nothing was missing. My mom, aunt and I are not huge fans of Mexican food. We are still raving about our meal! We paid $100 bucks for 3 people and we had drinks! No regrets for sure. The Texas House Margarita and my Texas Mango Margarita was YUMMY but potent! My aunt's complimentary birthday shot made her evening. We almost carried her to the car but so worth it! Can't wait to go back and try the other platters. The cups our Margaritas came in were so adorable we purchased one. Thanks!Wheelchair accessibility: My mom is on a scooter and this place is handicap accessible. A little ramp is available to enter.”
“Christian’s is a beautiful setting for a special occasion. The decor is relaxed, cozy, and not cluttered or overdone. I really love how blank space is used to draw your attention to the chosen art. I love the color of the accent walls, something between slate and midnight blue. It creates intimacy. Although situated on a busy road, the light is filtered well with shimmery, gauzy curtains, and you feel more peaceful once you’re inside. The service is kind, but not stuffy, although I personally like to know my server’s name, so that would be one small change that I’d suggest to level up. She did offer recommendations and mention her favorites, which was appreciated! The charcuterie board was tasty, with apricots, figs, raw honey, gherkins, and various delicious cold cuts, but I was a little disappointed in the cheeses, because I eat Cheddar and Brie all the time. Maybe these were very special cheeses, but we didn’t know it, because our board wasn’t explained in depth. The board was generous though, and along with the delicious bread, and the tapenade it came with, was a meal in itself. We chose the surf and turf special and the seafood Thermidor for our entrees. The veggies that came as a side were beautifully presented and tender. I loved the little mushrooms! My husband’s steak was perfect. The seafood Thermidor was creamy and the portion was huge. I tried the pastry hidden below the sauce and the chunky seafood, and it was alright, but I’d already eaten the bread earlier, so I didn’t care for it. Dessert was divine, a chocolate mouse pie. We ate every bite. Decadent and memorable. Overall, I would definitely return to Christian’s but for very special occasions, which this was. It’s pricey, although a good chunk of the bill consisted of cocktails and wine.”
“I order a grilled snapper meal 20 min b4 closing. Let’s just say the cooks/waitress had a very long day because there was several things wrong with my order. The next day I called to speak with a supervisor about my order. Kelly is who I spoke with. She was very friendly and apologetic about the service I had received, she offered to replace my meal and assured me that I can come by at my convenience. 2 weeks later (3/19) I came for my meal replacement.Kelly is definitely great at her job! She went above and beyond. Snapper…grilled to Perfection 10/10!! I was given a variety of sauces to try with my fish. My whole meal was amazingly delicious. Besides the meal being awesome. My customer service experience was fantastic. Kelly, got to the phone promptly, brought the meal to me herself, gave tips on how to reheat a Togo order, offered to redo my meal again if I wasn’t satisfied. I’ll be returning, delicious food & amazing customer service like that is hard to come by.”

When we arrived for our reservation, we were met with “Happy birthday!” and a celebratory sign was waiting at our table. My husband got a perfectly-prepared filet topped with an herb butter and I ordered a special, scallops in a lemony, buttery capers sauce—fantastic!Dustin, our server, paced our meal well and surprised us with two desserts (crème brûlée and a vanilla-caramel cake with mounds to f whipped cream and berries)!Delicious food, great service, and little extras that made a lovely difference.”

I was traveling through for work and my only regret was my wife wasn't with me to enjoy a wonderful, romantic meal. But this was a really nice solo dinner surprise after a long workday and long drive from south Georgia.”

“On our last morning in Georgia - we have gotten around to trying a Waffle House. When we told our waitress Miss Penny that we lived in Idaho and had never been in a Waffle House before - she couldn’t hardly believe it. It was one of the most entertaining times I’ve ever had in a restaurant. I don’t think it would be possible to leave there without a smile on your face! There were at least 8 people back there working - and every one of them were dancing & singing to the music. And they were all thanking each other multiple times for everything they were doing for one another. It was the epitome of Southern Hospitality! Miss Penny said we were just lucky & happened to pick the best one in Macon!”

The pizza was good, though some of our kids weren't crazy about the crust. The sauce was delicious! They liked the shark bites and the monkey bites! The gluten free pizza was good, but a little chewy. Overall I would recommend this place, especially if you like trying different pizza places.”

The egg rolls (filled with fried chicken, collard greens, and pimento cheese) are even better than the burgers and honestly almost the main reason I'd recommend this place.That being said, this place is super divey, in one of my least favorite places in GA, so that certainly leaves something to be desired. But for those egg rolls, I'd eat next to a literal dumpster...on fire...in sub-0 temperatures. They're that good.Shakes are solid, too, although I can almost guarantee you that an appetizer for two, the burger itself, and the associated side will leave you completely full - if you can even finish all of it, that is. Had the onion rings, which were absolutely in the top 3 I've ever had, nicely seasoned with black pepper, but they're ENORMOUS and came out six at a time, which is why I could only eat two thirds of them, unfortunately.Parking: Not a lot of parking during peak hours, seeing as downtown is quite limited in that regard, and it's all paid. If you pay through the app using a credit card, it comes out to be $1.60 per hour, which is roughly the recommended time frame for your meal, so not terribly expensive; just not a given you'll even find a spot.Parking is free after 8 PM ET, if I recall correctly.Kid-friendliness: Not very kid-friendly. It's a dive bar in a bad area.”

“That’s a cool place outside Macon downtown. The have live music, a play ground for kids and vendors who provide food. The vendor that was there when we went wasn’t that good. But there is an awesome pizza place right next door.They also have an outdoor bar and indoor bar. They make good exotic drinks and beers. They pretty fast in making the drinks.”

Someone in another review pointed out it seems odd to name a place a steakhouse and have only one steak (ribeye). My food came out quickly and the server was very nice. The lady at the hostess stand didn't seem rude but she didn't have much spark. Someone else gave them a really bad review based mostly on the hostess. It's not possible for me to know if it was the same one but I have a feeling it might have been. She wasn't very personable and didn't give off a very welcoming vibe.The grilled buffalo shrimp were cooked perfectly as was the fried shrimp I ordered along with my ribeye. The steak seemed to be of poor quality. It was tough and had a large section of gristle that I think should have been trimmed off. I would recommend anything seafood from this place but wouldn't suggest the steak.”

The next day I called to speak with a supervisor about my order. Kelly is who I spoke with. She was very friendly and apologetic about the service I had received, she offered to replace my meal and assured me that I can come by at my convenience. 2 weeks later (3/19) I came for my meal replacement.Kelly is definitely great at her job! She went above and beyond. Snapper…grilled to Perfection 10/10!! I was given a variety of sauces to try with my fish. My whole meal was amazingly delicious. Besides the meal being awesome. My customer service experience was fantastic. We later asked him if he could grab the manager so we could brag on him and it turns out he is the manager. He was bussing tables, delivering food, checking on customers, sweeping floors, etc. that is the true example of a manager. I ordered a 2 piece meal with fries, I wanted spicy chicken but they did not have the spicy chicken. My food was hot, fresh and not salty. There was good communication between us. I did not have to ask for condiments, the employees put them in the bag without me asking, including hot sauce for my chicken. I read the reviews before I came to the store there were some reviews that were not favorable to Popeyes. One of the reviews was mine. I decided to give them another try and I was satisfied with the service and the food. Let's hope that we can all be satisfied with Popeyes chicken and service. One had chicken, pineapple, jalapenos and other veggies. The other was grilled chicken in more of a Philly cheesesteak style. Staff were super friendly!”
“We decided to try Biddy's on a whim and glad we did. It's a small place specializing mostly in salads, chicken, and sandwiches. They definitely had a steady stream of customers coming through the door. Seating can be limited during peak times. Parking is a small lot on the side of the building but there are other options close by. The order was a Summer Salad and Chicken Strips. My wife enjoyed the salad as it was something not found at most places. The chicken strips were well cooked and crunchy.”

“Love the food. The egg rolls (filled with fried chicken, collard greens, and pimento cheese) are even better than the burgers and honestly almost the main reason I'd recommend this place.That being said, this place is super divey, in one of my least favorite places in GA, so that certainly leaves something to be desired. But for those egg rolls, I'd eat next to a literal dumpster...on fire...in sub-0 temperatures. They're that good.Shakes are solid, too, although I can almost guarantee you that an appetizer for two, the burger itself, and the associated side will leave you completely full - if you can even finish all of it, that is. Had the onion rings, which were absolutely in the top 3 I've ever had, nicely seasoned with black pepper, but they're ENORMOUS and came out six at a time, which is why I could only eat two thirds of them, unfortunately.Parking: Not a lot of parking during peak hours, seeing as downtown is quite limited in that regard, and it's all paid. If you pay through the app using a credit card, it comes out to be $1.60 per hour, which is roughly the recommended time frame for your meal, so not terribly expensive; just not a given you'll even find a spot.Parking is free after 8 PM ET, if I recall correctly.Kid-friendliness: Not very kid-friendly. It's a dive bar in a bad area.”

“I can’t believe it has been over 20 years since I have had one of these ham and cheese wraps!! I remember eating these wraps weekly at Hovan Gourmet in the Macon Mall. What a treat to find them again! The wrap is just as good as it was back then and the owners are just as sweet as I remember them ❤️You have to try it! I will be back!”
