“Loved this cute restaurant in Merchant’s Walk. My friend and I picked this because it was halfway between our homes, and we loved it! Perfect girl food lunch, but there were definitely options for heartier appetites. Food was delicious and our server was super accommodating and knowledgeable and offered us lots of options. “The Marietta Diner has earned its reputation, and after our visit it’s easy to see why.

We decided to try the homemade Southern fried chicken, and it was the right choice. The 4-piece chicken dinner with mashed potatoes was generous enough for two of us to share comfortably. The chicken was crispy on the outside, juicy inside, and paired perfectly with the house hot honey sauce.

Don’t skip the matzo ball soup. It was flavorful, comforting, and one of the highlights of the meal. The fresh bread was another pleasant surprise—it rivals what many restaurants are known for and arrived warm with a soft interior.

The menu is enormous, so whether you’re craving breakfast, comfort food, seafood, steaks, sandwiches, or one of the incredible desserts on display, there’s something for everyone.

Service was fast, friendly, and efficient, even with the restaurant staying busy.

If you’re visiting Marietta or just looking for a classic diner experience with huge portions and an extensive menu, this is absolutely worth the stop. We’ll definitely be back to explore more of that menu.“

He is always so kind and welcoming. He takes care of us and makes sure all of our needs are met. We both get the fire grill chicken dish with mushroom cream sauce and it never lets us down. “I play guitar at the open mic here on Tuesday nights. I really like this place. My waitress Quinn is the best of the best when it comes to service. The food is always good, and the atmosphere is always a good fit for me. They are also biker friendly, and that's important to me. I give them an A++“

“First time here last Saturday night. Sat at the bar around 7pm. Bar was empty. Restaurant tables doing a steady business. Bartender was very nice. Burger was very good but bun was so soggy you had to eat it with a knife and fork. Onion rings and tots crispy and good. Fries soggy and did not eat. Would go back but definitely order the burger with "the bun on the side". Soggy bun and fries.could have been because they sat at the kitchen window too long before being served. All and all a pleasant experience and close to home for a burger and a beer.“

“Just wanted to drop a quick thank you to the wing for allowing us to host our annual Fantasy Football Draft at their place last night.

Our server, whose name escapes me.. did not miss a beat taking care off our entire group. I must confess, the wings looked phenomenal as they usually are, but a lot of us were too busy making selections to actually eat.

“Ordered here two days in a row while visiting with a friend in Atlanta. The food was good, arrived quickly and was not cold. On the second day, today, I ordered three omelettes, along with other items. One of the omelettes ordered, called for mushrooms, the other two did not. The second two were supposed to be identical. For some reason, mushrooms were added to one of the other orders. However, I did not order mushrooms because I am allergic to them. Unfortunately, I tried to call three times, but only got a message stating “we’re not available now, please call again!” Other than this mishap, which could have been really bad had I not noticed the mushrooms and consumed them, everything else was good.“

“McCray's food was delicious. We had the Big A$$ pretzel and it did not disappoint. Everyone enjoyed their food, we had burgers, the filet and the chicken Philly and everyone one said it was good.
However, there are some things that need work, the table was not cleaned or wiped down. The silverware needed to be exchanged and although the food was good, the service was sooooo slow. I'd give this place another try, I hope they can work out their cleanliness and service as the food is worth a 2nd visit.“

“Had the Easter brunch with complimentary mimosa. $75.00 per person drinks extra. The three of us enjoyed our time. I made reservations nine days prior with asking for outdoor seating. When we arrived weather was good but they were not seating outside. Disappointed not to have outside seating. Nice buffet but the cake was previously frozen and apple pie not homemade. The lemon petite tart was not made with fresh lemon. Probably frozen previously too. The ice cream bar had only vanilla and cool whip topping. The strawberry and chocolate syrups were flavored. For the price charged a couple of real signature desserts would have been great. The macaroni was great. The salmon, chicken and beef were good. The ham was not a a good choice and was not at a carving station as described when I asked about the buffet. Fruit was good. Since this is the first since Covid 19 I’ll give for credit for a nice presentation.

“My wife and I go to a wine tasting couple times a year here. It is a little pricey but it is a fun thing to do and the wine is good and the food is excellent. They serve appetizers with each two pores of wine. Recommend getting a full glass of wine and a separate appetizer when you get there.

Vegetarian options: They can accommodate some vegetarian options. But many of their appetizers do have meat.

Parking: Parking is in a large shared strip mall parking area.

Kid-friendliness: This event is not for kids. Many couples are there spending an evening away from their kids!

Wheelchair accessibility: The space is on the ground floor. The door is a single door, but I don't know if there's any wheelchair accessible seating. Most of this is at a bar height.“

She was so delightful and very helpful. This location is a little way aways from me but the service from the workers and manager was exceptional I won’t mind making the drive again!
