We've been going there for years and our dining is always fantastic. The servers are friendly and accommodating. We have all of our special occasions there and a few spur of the moment ones too. “This was our first visit to Local Expedition, so the lady behind the counter introduced us to their offerings and how to order. WOW was it worth the quick learning curve. Fantastic food and very reasonable prices. Really good vegetables. We tried the smoked chicken (chopped and super soft/tender), rice, carmelized carrots, broccoli, zucchini squash, carmelized brussel sprouts, potstickers and some kind of really unique corn on the cobb. Loved it all, but especially the carrots, chicken, brussel sprouts, and the cilantro sauce that came with the meal. We now who to try next for catering. Great find!“

“Well we heard if wr wanted the best egg rolls this side of town we should try Egg Roll Boys..so we did. We arrived right after they had literally opened up which was good for me and my friend so we could peruse the menu because honestly everything looked good. The location is set in a strip mall like location so parking is not a problem. Upon walking in the setting is inviting and had background music playing at a decent level which gives it a good vibe for a lunch or catch up date. We made our way to the full service bar where we were given great selections to choose from. Each entree comes with a side of fried rice and fries which sounds like a lot but it isn't and blended in quite well with our meal. They have an option to upgrade to a large eggroll if you like but the portion sizes for the regular are very hearty so tread lightly. On average each entree differs from around 13$ -20$ and they offered free refills. The meals are filling and as they do not compromise on ingredients, season or taste. FYI, they use fresh seafood and no imitation meat,so the prices to me reflect the quality of the food and are well worth it! I can say with certainty that I have every intention on becoming a repeat offender at the Eggroll Boys“

There was over a dozen staff and while we sat and looked at the menu, I notice everyone, seriously, everyone was cleaning something.The floors were be scrubbed, not mopped, but like a bucket of soapy water thrown on the floor and they were scrubbing it with deck brushes. Someone was wiping the wall down while others were cleaning there area.I have never seen that many employees at a Waffle House. All were sort of poking fun at each other about how much cleaner their area was vs the other.Oh, yeah, the food was great as well. That's a given but the cleanliness and the attitude of the staff was fantastic. I don't know how Waffle House is ran, if it's franchised or corporate, but whoever the owner or manager of this store, Waffle House needs to send them to all their stores for some coaching! He did come back to check if we were happy with the steaks and we unanimously. One of our guests was the birthday. He got a very nice dish of sweets enough for sharing though he demolished the plate. I gave him the benefit of the doubt because the restaurant was busy, we came at a busy time. The staff were pleasant, respectful, and welcoming. The food was very good. I really liked the server. We went on a Saturday around 5ish so it was not too crowded and got seated with no reservations.Our waitresses was very nice and repeated our order which was an added bonus.I had a Ceasar salad which was not drenched in dressing. It had the perfect amount.Then our mains came out. I had the Prime Rib. It was perfect. Some places you get a 14oz prime that is 10oz of fat, not thos place. Perfect amount of marbling. Only complaint was the horseradish didn't really have any bite to it, but that is ok.The Village Tavern is definitely added to our rotation of places to go.My wife had a burger that she said was good. Some places she gets a burger from and they are no better than Wendy's but this, she said was really good.The only reason I dropped lower in atmosphere was because we were seated next to the kitchen. I would say if you are going to have a discussion, move to an location not next to where people are sitting. Didn't bother me but some might have an issue.Parking: Just be aware that there are signs that says the restaurant is not responsible for lost items.
