“The chicken piccata is absolutely amazing!! I switch out the asparagus with spinach! “This was our first visit to Local Expedition, so the lady behind the counter introduced us to their offerings and how to order. WOW was it worth the quick learning curve. Fantastic food and very reasonable prices. Really good vegetables. We tried the smoked chicken (chopped and super soft/tender), rice, carmelized carrots, broccoli, zucchini squash, carmelized brussel sprouts, potstickers and some kind of really unique corn on the cobb. Loved it all, but especially the carrots, chicken, brussel sprouts, and the cilantro sauce that came with the meal. We now who to try next for catering. Great find!“

Food was amazing, most of the items are very reasonably priced for the prep quality. The Birria sandwich was killer. Wagyu flatiron was cut with the grain, but was otherwise tender and delicious, as they allowed rare cooking. The space was spacious and quiet, and we felt like we had conversational privacy even when the room was full. Service was very attentive and their division of labor made the service between food, drinks, and bussing feel balanced. I definitely will return. Also, the wine list was wonderful. The Brie and bacon omelette was excellent and I liked the redskins that came with it rather than traditional hash-browns. My friend got a breakfast burrito that was huge and full of flavor. Leave room for the butter cake - it's huge and delicious. The service was very good and I love the ambiance of the place. Must go back for dinner sometime to sample more of the menu.“

“Went went on a Saturday for lunch and it was packed, even the patio with outdoor seating was so loud you couldn't hear each other at the table. Once it calmed down, it was much more enjoyable, so just keep in mind if you go at busy times the noise carries. Our server was kind, but rushed us from the moment we sat down. Two people in our party had to go orders they requested to be put in later. She put them in the second our food hit the table so their togos came out before we were even halfway done eating. So, the kitchen is at least efficient. I had the chicken nachos, they're stacked high on a large plate. They were delicious, but definitely couldn't finish them all. Checks were dropped after our food hit the table, so we couldn't ask for a togo box.“

The wine came right away. The appetizer took a while, but it was a hot and delicious dish. We ordered steaks and didn't get them for an hour or more. The steaks were tasty. He did come back to check if we were happy with the steaks and we unanimously. One of our guests was the birthday. He got a very nice dish of sweets enough for sharing though he demolished the plate. I had to find the server and ask for a dessert menu. I've rarely, if ever, had to locate a server for anything else due to long gaps of time between services. I gave him the benefit of the doubt because the restaurant was busy, we came at a busy time. The staff were pleasant, respectful, and welcoming. The food was very good. I really liked the server. He must have been busy with a lot of tables. Perhaps help from a food runner would have helped.“

“I was visiting the hotel and ate at the bar several times. The food was great! The wings were crisp and juicy with great flavor. I also tried the chicken sandwich. This is next level with pimento cheese and apricot jam were fantastic! I definitely recommend it. If you want something light, go for the charcuterie! I did and I don’t regret it, but I wish I had ordered an extra to go home with. Last but certainly not the least are the bartenders and the drinks. Zach and Leslie are wonderful hosts with great personalities. Not only that, they can make 5 star drinks!!! My favorite 2 of the weekend were a bourbon sidecar and a vieux carre. These were both recommended by them and they were amazing not too sweet with a kick. Love it!!! Highly recommended and I will be back!“

I live on the south side so I won't be going often but it was worth the trip. I love they do free table reservations and free entry. Free parking as well! The dance floor is small. They have a really nice back drop for photos. The bathrooms are decorated really nice and were clean. Drinks were good and affordable. The overall decor is dope.
