“I'm here waiting on my food and had to give this review real quick before I forget! Mayah is AWESOME! I mentioned that it was my birthday and she made me feel really special. It reminded me of how customer service used to be everywhere, and I'm happy that Mayah at the cash register is bringing it back. Even while I was waiting for her to take my order, several people who dined in were coming up and thanking her for her great service. I'm happy that I came in and ordered instead of ordering Uber Eats, and if the customer service is this good, I'll definitely be up here more often.“
“This was a nice surprise. Most of our party were new to Honduran food, so it was fun to experiment. Everything we tried was delicious and the portions were huge and reasonably priced. Try the popusas and the steak. Our waitress was friendly. The restaurant is very casual.“

“I wish I could rate this place higher!! Haven Restaurant and Bar is such a gem. I dined here for the first time last night with friends and everything was simply phenomenal. I had the Grilled Beef Tenderloin which was absolute perfection. The beef was cooked exceptionally well with the perfect amount of salt. The whipped potatoes were nice and buttery smooth and the spinach was the best spinach I've ever had. It was packed with flavor and the bearnaise sauce accompanied everything so well. We also tried the new Grilled Artichokes which were delicious. The ricotta really put it over the top and again, was seasoned perfectly. The staff was also top notch! Our waiter was fantastic beacuse he was so kind and professional and knew the menu back and front. The brunch manager was still there and he was also amazing and so nice. I live an hour away but will absolutely make the drive to come back again very soon.“
“Me and a colleague visited for lunch on a Thursday. The service and atmosphere was amazing! The food was good but not as good as I was expecting. The sweat potato fries were really good but shrimp tacos were just okay. It was missing something. My colleague did enjoy her grouper and coleslaw. I would recommend this restaurant!“
“I am so glad I found this gem!! I just moved to Atlanta from Boston (where there’s Haitian food everywhere) so I was little bummed out that there aren’t really Haitian spots out here. But my girlfriend found this place on IG and sent it my way. I ordered online and got the griot plate which comes with the diri kole (rice and beans) and the banan peze (fried plantains) with a side of salad and pikliz. Also ordered a side of the j*** chicken pasta which came with some delicious bread, my order also came with a lemonade and it was one of the best lemonade I ever had. EVERYTHING was delicious the griot was cooked very well still nice and tender people tend to overcook griot but this here was perfect! Portion is great! It’s a 10/10 for me and will not mind making that 30+ minute drive in Atlanta traffic to get it.My only suggestion would be to give the sauce on the side as opposed to putting it on the rice and having Dressing for the salad.Thank you Ted for a great meal, you definitely have a frequent customer now.“
“When we arrive we didn’t have reservations. It was definitely crowded. They told us 30 mins but it was actually 15/10. So we set down the service was fast. We order two appetizers the salmon bites and lemon pepper wings. Everything was bussin bussin. For our entrees we order the lamb chops & short ribs those were so delicious. I would come back when I’m in town.“
“Here is an unoriginal take; Secreto is the perfect name of this place because it is the best kept secret in Brookhaven. I have literally never had a bad meal here and the "Community Hour" menu is such an incredible value that it is borderline criminal. The chef is super creative and the specials are always on point, the only "problem" is that the regular menu is ALSO always on point so it can be hard to decide what to get! Big shoutout to our favorite server there, Brittany. She always takes tremendous care of us.“
“A hidden gem for sure!! The food is the ABSOLUTE BEST SOUL FOOD I’ve had in ATLANTA! We enjoyed the salmon, lamb chops, greens, Mac & cheese, yams, and honey corn bread. The greens were PERFECT not requiring any condiments at all! The salmon and lamb cooked to perfection and the yams and Mac & cheese didn’t disappoint. Honestly it was all soooo good!! This is great for day or night date or with family/ friends. Our server, E, was attentive, friendly, and best of all informative on the food and drinks!! The music and atmosphere were a nice adult ambiance to enjoy laughs or even still chat with those you are enjoying your meal. A definite return and a definite must visit if you haven’t been yet!
