“When in town I always stop here. Just a good old hole-in-the-wall type of place. Bartenders are always nice and outstanding. Beer is cheap and the locals are always friendly. You have to stop at this place if you want to get a drink. Just know it’s CASH ONLY but they do have an ATM onboard so don’t worry too much. They do get a little annoyed when you try to pay card but they literally have signs everywhere that says so.“
“Wow! Best surprise of Savannah. We stumbled on this place in the afternoon and loved everything about it. It was hard to not eat everything. Best pie crust I've ever had and I've had some good ones. Paige was so knowledgeable and helpful. We ended up coming back the next day for cocktails. Sarah and Santina were just as lovely. Our favorites were the Pimm's cup and The Man Who Sold the World. We cannot wait to come back to Savannah and visit this Gem.“
“We love these little side street types of pubs. The atmosphere was perfect, just like a pub in England. Food was great. (I'm a stickler for a good Reuben, and if I may, get the potato salad) Service was spot on for us. Will definitely visit when we are in Savannah again.“
“Katie was a really good guide. She was fun and kept us moving at a comfortable pace where we could enjoy our drinks and focus on the stories she shared. I loved that she knew enough about the town to even discuss sites that weren't part of the tour. Very fun night, our group wound up only being 7 rather than 11 because someone in the other group had a expired ID and decided to not come along. Who signs up for a bar crawl with an expired ID anyhow? Anyway, the group size of 7 was really nice, it made it easier to stick together and talk to everyone. Thanks again Katie!“
“Super small beer bar with walls and ceilings COVERED with HUNDREDS of sketches of Abe Lincoln made by folks who've visited. Really a treat for the eyes...so many wildly weird takes on Honest Abe... you'll soooo want to doodle one of your own and tape it to a wall or the ceiling! Such fun feasting your eyes on these "portraits"!“
“I’m so pleased I got to experience a Friday here! I mean free fried chicken?! Whattt and let me tell you, it was the best friend chicken EVER. It was so good and spicy. I wasn’t even hungry but kept going back! We went out back once the band started and I had such a great time just sitting drinking and listening.“
“This is a TINY place but its character is twice its size. Food is amazing - I had the fish and chips - and the staff is super friendly. Loved the ambiance and decorations. The place was full when we got there but I’m glad we stayed and waited.“
“My wife and I stopped in for a Guinness and some Irish whiskey. We both loved the atmosphere along with the friendly staff. Make sure you have ID with you. Savannah is very strict regarding under age drinking and you will be asked no matter your age. Cheers!“
“Even if it's cold outside, you must get a frozen drink to slurp! Great mixed concoctions, but strong! Fun experience and way to tour the town and sightsee. Reasonably priced for the amount, recommend samples to figure out what you like first!“
“My first experience at Britannia pub was a wonderful one. The staff Was wonderful,, Friendly, Courteous, And polite. I love the atmosphere and the decor. The staff makes you feel welcome, And at home. I will be going back in the future,, And I will tell everyone I know about this wonderful establishment.“
“A classic American dive bar. Full of locals which is always a good sign and a good selection of beers and a fantastic selection of bourbons. The service here was excellent and kudos to Baylee, who ran the full bar by herself the entire time and stayed on top of everything including serving large groups of drunken tourists walking through the door at random times. What definitely surprised me, is the quality of food at this dive bar. Randomly, it's a complete Thai menu and based on how many takeout orders I watched, it's extremely well received by locals. I ended up ordering a Thai rice dish and it was outstanding. If you love a good dive bar and you're in the neighbourhood, this is a welcome break from the rest of the touristy bars in the neighbourhood.“
“10/10 experience on Bastille Day!We had dinner reservations at 6. We arrived early and started with a drink at their bar. Fantastic selection, especially if you're a whiskey drinker! We were promptly seated at our reservation time at a cozy table in the wine cellar. The ambiance was fantastic! We came prepared, we had checked out their special Bastille menu before coming. Our server, Emily, let us know about their other daily specials, too. Let me say, Emily was GREAT! One major thing that made a big difference to me: they offer complimentary shawls for if you are cold. It may have been 100° outside, but it definitely wasn't downstairs. Huge perks there!Back to the food. We tried so much. My friends had been there previously but we went for everything new, except the Escargot, because they insisted I had to try it. THEY WERE RIGHT! I never thought I'd eat snails, boy was I wrong. It was served piping hot, literally bubbling, with garlic and butter and just heaven. My appetizer was their Bastille dessert special, Banana Beignets. Just wow. Vanilla ice cream, chocolate sauce, bananas, and just scrumptiousness. We also had their Oysters Rockefeller (all the yes!), Lobster Crepes (1.5 lbs of Maine lobster! ?), and the Ribeye (the potatoes that came with it, no words to describe their amazingness)--all from their Bastille menu. We had the jumbo crab cakes, French onion soup, and chocolate mousse from their daily menu. And a delicious snapper from their dinner specials. When I say this was one of my favorite dining experiences, I mean it. I've worked 1 block away for YEARS and I've never made it in. I'm counting down the days until we go back!Again, shout out to Emily for being a terrific host for the night! Thank you!“
“Our group came here for early dinner which coincided with their happy hour… we’re glad we picked this place, the food & drinks were awesome! We had $5 appetizers- pretzel bites, cheese croquettes & onion rings. For the entree i got the meatloaf & it was a good size for price. Service is 10/10! Our server was Eden & her recommendations were on point! We’ll definitely come back next time we visit Savannah.“
“Omigosh, this was the most surprising part of our visit to Savanah. The food was absolutely fantastic. We had a salad, tacos, pimento cheese dip, and drinks. Everything was so incredible!!! We honestly had no idea how really tasty the food would be. The service was really good with helpful, kind, knowledgeable servers. When in Savanah, it is a most!!“
“We were a party of 4 adults and dined on a Saturday evening. It was busy but no wait. Our server Hannh was awesome, the selection is great and atmosphere was appropriate for island seafood / variety dining. We all had different meals and everything was delicious and hot. We were skeptical based on a few bad reviews we read, but we didn't experience any of those problems. We recommend Molly's and will go back if we're ever back in this area.“
“The burger, fries and salad were the highlights. Some of the staff were pretty grouchy, but otherwise it was a great. We were sent here by a couple we met at a local brewery who thankfully steered us away from the touristy spots. I'm glad we went.“
