“First time trying this awesome restaurant and I’ll be back. Ordered the Jerk Mushroom Platter with jasmine rice & curry kale collards. The burst of flavors were amazing. And if you like a little spice w/o it being overpowering; try the jerk mushrooms. If something is good cold; you know it’s great!! Plus, they give you a lot of food for your money.The owner was very kind and super accommodating. It was like being in a friend’s kitchen.Can’t wait to try other options on the menu.Vegetarian options: You’ll have the best veggie plate ever.Dietary restrictions: Trying to get your veggies in but not lose the satisfaction of a good plate; try the jerk mushrooms. The mushrooms were better than meat.”

“This was our second time having dinner at the Panola road location in a week. The service was great both times. We were seated by a man who introduced himself as Grey, the GM. Wow!! he was so friendly and he took our order with ease. He knew the menu and made great suggestions. The music was a bit loud and he turned it down for us. I told him that I was going to give him a great review. I'm a week late but I had to let the web know about the wonderful experience that we had dining and being served by Grey. Thank you.”

“Very clean, seems new location. Service is good, food is good and even a hint of spice but not unedible. I'm non tolerant of spice typically, not this. The prices are on the higher side. I ordered fried rice and it was $15”

“I don’t often leave reviews, but 6 months later and we still talk about going back for the music, food, and most of all THE STAFF! They were so personable, even when we were still eating a few minutes from closing. They never rushed us, kept the good music going and chatted with us.100/10 recommend!”

“Service was excellent. Got the soul food bowl w/salmon. Costing $18. The dish was good. Wish it wouldve been less rice & more of the other ingredients but thats just a personal preference. Salmon was a lil bit salty but it was cooked perfectly. The temp was perfect. And even tho it was onthe saltier side it balanced out with the meal as a whole and it was still delicious and again thats just my personal taste buds. It was Very flavorful. It came w/a dressing/sauce but didnt need it cause it was flavorful esp salmon. Im ready for a nap!!!!! Def will be back.”

“We were dropped off by an Uber, and figure out the now open at 10am, but it was only 9.38A very kind lady stepped out and offered to go in and wait a bit for the kitchen and the crew to arrive. She was super nice and so was an older gentleman (looked like part of the kitchen).I would come back any time. Updating the opening time to 10am.”

“My first 2 visits were good the food was good. The third visit was underwhelming. I ordered the stew chicken. The chicken was burnt and overcooked. It was like eating gravy covered shredded wood chips. I hope they get it together.”

“They brought out the food truck today and fed me and my coworkers. Everything was good! I tasted the shrimp po boy, fries, red beans and rice, and gumbo. The owner was professional and down to earth. We will be using them again.”
