“I have been wanting to try the egg bake (spring veggie) but it has been sold out, but I saw it here so I went for it! Not very impressed. First, it took a very long time for them to warm it up (not sure if the toaster is malfunctioning). Then once I went to take it out of the bag, it was still frozen in the center! I went back and asked them to reheat it. Once it was reheated, it was just ok. There were very few veggie specks in it and it was not worth the price. Glad I tried it, will not get it again.“
“Need to cool off with all the walking from going to different shops in Pearlridge Mall? Then Jamba is the place to go. From smoothies, juices and acai bowls, they have something for almost everyone. My fav is the Tropical dragon. Wanted to try something new, so I ordered the Large Razzmatazz and had them split the order in 2 cups so I could share with my hubby. Comes out to 2 small orders, but cheaper in price - budget tip ;)It was okay, but next time I'll stick to my favs!“
“Best açai bowl!!! Had it at least 3 x on our trip. Great customer service, great options and great ambience. Instagram post worthy dishes. I’m not a big waffle person but added it to my last açai bowl order and wow these were also good! Our party of 4 all enjoyed our food choices. Keep up the big smiles and great work :)“
“A very cute cafe with a nice mix of different flavored drinks! Super cozy and I can see myself definitely being able to get some work done. The service was nice and answered all the questions I had for them. The drink itself tasted nice but I got a normal drink. I'll definitely try a different drink next time.“
“Veranda Afternoon Tea!! My friends and I were here for afternoon tea on Sunday and we loved it. They provided variety of the tea menus and we got the royal set for all of us. Everything was so good especially the local tea that you can only get here in Hawaii and nowhere else! And Ryan was taking care of us the whole time, very attentive and knowledgeable about food and drink here. Thumbs up!“
“Order = 1 iced Lavender Latte 12 oz + 1 hot Lavender latte 16 oz.So tasty we lacked the time for a photo.Feeling satisfied and energized. Music selection was on point for the vibes.Staff were kind and pleasant to interact with.Loved that are open at 630am.“
“Super positive energy in this shop. We were immediately greeted by the friendly staff and given suggestions based on our preferences. I got amazing açaí bowl with peanut butter added and an iced spicy chai with oat milk. All no added artificial sugars. Full of local gifts including coffee, keychains, jewelry. A great little spot and I will definitely be back!!“
“Been looking for a location that makes a good Açaí bowl and was told about this location. You get to pick your type of bowl and customize how you want it prepared. They made it super fast.It was really good. Will definitely be coming back to get another.Only bad part is finding a place to park. You’ll have to drive into the parking deck around back ($2 for 30 mins) and go down to lower level to find the small location. It’s on the street side when you’re looking for it.“
“Wow! Just wow. Flavor burst! Holy taste buds! Yum! I loved every single bite of this açaí bowl. Absolutely delicious and not like your ordinary açaí bowl. When I arrived at the window to order, I had asked what they were known for or which açaí bowl was the most popular and he suggested the layers of paradise with the Lilikoi cream. I couldn't decide between the Lilikoi or mango cream so he said he could make it half and half and oh my goodness. I got the best of both worlds. Customer service A+! Quality and flavor A++. This may be my new favorite açaí bowl spot. And next time for sure, I need a bowl to myself, no sharing, lol.“
“Small cafe with limited seating, inside the HiClimb location, but if you're in the area, this is the best place for a diverse and tasty menu. Vegan options included. Limited food and baked goods but highly recommend trying them because they are SO good. Whether or not I'm going climbing, I'd still rather stop here than anywhere else. If you're into D&D, they also have game nights. Don't sleep on this place! Very welcoming to the geek community.“
“This small little place have some really good sandwiches and salad. I never got a chance to try their soup but I heard it's good. They also have açaí bowl and it's not bad. Just be careful around there looks a little sketchy and parking is kind of weird if I remember.“
“The acai bowl was pretty bomb! One of the best I've ever had if I'm being honest. Got the bowl with all bananas and cocoa nibbs and almond butter. There is no parking nearby that you don't have to pay for. I had to walk a pretty distance to get here but it was almost worth it.The bowls are pretty pricey but they're a decent size. I was able to share with a friend after eating a steak plate. The service there was mediocre. Don't expect good service there. The workers were all pretty young and blasting music I could barely hear them speak.“
“Passed this place by for months because I didn’t care for the “pro-Jesus” Bible thumping verse on the window outside but decided to overlook that this morning to see if it was as cute inside as it was outside and boy what an experience! Except for the Christian smut this place is a feast for the eyes and cute as HELL! Very cutesy but tastefully Sanrio/Harajuku oriented literally from top to bottom. My wallet was opening up all by itself. But on top of that the young man that took my order, after patiently waiting for me to finish taking pictures and videos was thoughtful, sweet, thorough and friendly. My mocha was spot on and although my orange cranberry scone was more biscuity than sconey there were a ton of other items on my list to try next time around including vegan options. What made this place stand out, though, was KINDNESS! There was an older, barefoot, unkempt man in a hospital gown that came into the store and ordered a coffee to go. He had trouble speaking and trouble walking but the young man took his order, served him and then came out to the door and opened it for him so he could walk out easily. When the same man came in later for a second cup of coffee the young man’s friend, who was also a customer, took note and got up and opened the door for him. THAT’s aloha! Put me to shame - I was kind of scared of that man. But those young people showed compassion and aloha. I love it and I’ll be back!“
“Best acai bowl I've had on island! The location can be very deceiving but the quality of the Acai is amazing. It's not too sweet, you can taste the freshness, it's loaded with fruits and granola. I'm definitely going back! This place a good mine!“
“I highly recommend this cafe! The service was outstanding, featuring a unique menu that surpassed expectations. The lattes were exceptionally tasty, and the homemade granola and açaí bowl were truly delightful. It's no surprise they earned the title of the best cafe in 2023 – an experience worth savoring!“
“Nice multi purpose cafe. Food, coffee, paddle boards, surf boards, and souvenirs.Looking for gluten free crepes? YES and thank you! My oh my was it yummy! Fast service, and helpful staff. We also rented a paddle board for a couple of hours which was in great condition.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free crepes!“
“Definitely try their signature drinks! The Nero Aroma is blackberry coco mocha, which was delicious - who knew you could mix blackberry and coffee? We also tried the raspberry white coco mocha, but found the flavor was a lot more muted. So if you want something more low-key, the Aroma Amore might be a better option! The Coco Choco is coconut chocolate mocha was also delicious iced“
“Among the Asahi Bowl cafes located in Waikiki, it is the most delicious and the ingredients are good ^^ I always stop by every time I travel. The waffles are chewy, crunchy, and delicious. The Korean owner explained things well and the staff also spoke Korean well. It was easy to order. You can take it out and eat it on the beach. There is a large table in front, so it's nice to sit and have brunch. The coffee is delicious too, so be sure to try it~~“
“Chris and the JorJ team always provide the freshest and most delicious treats to my day. From their award winning acai bowls to the always delectable fruit smoothies, I love seeing Chris and his team. Mahalo for being such an awesome business and owner in my hometown of Kaimuki!“
“An awesome dynamic duo, this is the spot to check out when in Kaneohe. Where else can you jam out and sing your heart out with live karaoke while waiting for your tongue tingling, taste bud exploding bowls? All joking "Acai-d" ? there's no karaoke, but you are welcome to sing! Check out their acai bowls. It's awesome! Check them out!“
“This is our favorite go-to place for freshly made Acai bowls! Have been enjoying them for years and I'm so glad they're so close to home for us. This is the first time I ordered a tray from them and I will continue to do so every year. Friendly, fast, and customizable! Oh..and an absolute perfect blend of flavors. Thank you for your service Ku'ulei & the rest of the Ohana!“
“Perfect frozen treat!!! No dairy, no sugar… “ice cream” made of just bananas! So delicious! I had a “locals only” bowl (mango chunks, pineapple chunks, macadamia nut butter, banana slices, honey drizzled, all on top of pure frozen banana) and it was a perfect lunch size for me! Health-conscious customers can now live the beach life!“
“Found this place on a whim while in-processing. For real for real the best açaí bowl I’ve had on island. And I love that I could eat lunch here in between briefings at the soldier support center or get caffeine to help me stay awake during some of those briefings. There’s plenty of parking, but you have to go park at soldier support center. Then you walk through or around it. Mama J’s is literally a trailer and it can be easy to miss.Parking: Soldier support center parking lot.Wheelchair accessibility: Yes.“
“Following super Yelper Nadine, I was in the Ala Moana area and decide to stop in on Aunty Gigi's Cafe. They are located on the corner of Keeaumoku and Young Streets, on the Ewa/Makai corner. You enter the parking from Young street. Nadine had glowing reviews of her purchases and I have to concur with her thoughts about Aunty Gigi's. They have been open for about a month and are in sort of a soft opening. Their smoothies and Acai bowl offerings/pricing are prominently displayed on the wall. The savory offerings, musubis and bentos are not yet listed but some are available. On this day the spam/egg musubi and the Kimbop were available as well as the meat Jun bento. This is a small operation so I had a chance to try the savory orders made as ordered. It was fun talking to Aunty Gigi as she prepared my order. She is very friendly and easy to converse with. Her "cafe" is compact, very clean as she totally gutted out the space brought in new equipment and fixtures. I took home the Kimbop, meat Jun and acai bowl, and also brought home one of the musubi to try, compliments of Aunty. The savory offerings are on the counter. When I went the first hour they were open Aunty was in the process of making the savory offerings. The smoothies and acai bowls are of course made to order.Delicious offerings close to Ala Moana shopping center.“
“I didn't have enough time between meetings, so I ordered takeout. They sell both poke and acai bowls, which are must-eats when you go to Hawaii. It is relatively inexpensive compared to the interior of a hotel. The quantity is also very large. The food comes out very quickly.“
“A great spot to grab a quick bite. I got their açaí bowl which was very delicious. I always love when there is an option to add bee pollen to my bowls. The açaí was sweet yet soft, and the fruit atop it was fresh. The service is fast, and it's a nice space. There is an inside and a slight outdoor space, but Nalu is so close to the beach that I recommend to just take the bowl with you and lay in the sand and enjoy the beautiful weather.“
“We frequent Kamas weekly but have never stopped at this shop, assuming it was soft serve with cereal toppings. Needing a cold treat, we decided to check things out and were pleasantly surprised at what Milky Cereal Bar actually is! We opted for the premade recipes and watched as the knowledgeable and sweet counter help pulled them together by COMBINING the soft serve and ingredients (mine was fresh strawberries and blueberries with captain crunch) into a whole new soft serve in a very impressive "blender" of sorts. Then this new and fruity soft serve was topped with fruity pebbles and lilikoi syrup. So incredibly yummy! And reasonable, given what prices are these days. Now that we understand what Milky's offers, we will be back to try some of our own creations.“
“Came here for a quick bite and to find some iced matcha latte. The staff that helped me was friendly. For $17.23, I got a 16 oz iced matcha latte with almond milk and a bacon & spinach breakfast burrito. The matcha was underwhelming. No matcha flavor at all, just milk. The burrito was actually good for pre-made. On the smaller side for the price. I think this place is big on coffee according to the customers and reviews..Just don't get the matcha. Nice relaxing atmosphere to chill and hang out.Vegetarian options: Veggie breakfast burrito, acai bowlParking: Street parking, no lot.“
“We shared an acai bowl. It had honey drizzled on top with a strawberry and 2 bananas sliced, granola bits. Very tasty! The lady at the counter was nice and our bowl was made within 3 minutes of ordering. Wasn't too busy inside (2 other people). The acai bowl was on the pricier side: $16 and portions were small.I used to come to this location before they changed owners during my college years over a decade ago, really nostalgic!“
“I’m not a shaved ice connoisseur, but based on how quickly my kids demolished the “Hawaiian Rainbow”, this place is worth it. I wouldn’t hesitate to go back. Friday night was fun, enjoying our dessert while watching the crowds stroll by on Kalākaua.Kid-friendliness: If it’s not obvious why kids love watching their shaved ice treat take shape in front of their eyes with colorful syrups and toppings piled on top of each other, then you need to go re-connect with your inner Willy Wonka.“
“Best Açaí bowl on the island! Plenty of toppings, amazing açaí mix and their granola is just fabulous. I bought 3 packs before I moved back to the mainland. I have tried many açaí bowls on Oahu and Kauai in the past 6 months. This is the best açaí bowl that is truly healthy and tasty. I have also tried their lox bagels. I don’t really like carrots but this was delicious.“
“I really love the acai bowls. I always grab one after I hike around diamondhead. The mana with honey and bee pollen is a favorite. The line usually goes pretty quickly, so don't be deterred. Prices are pretty on par with acai bowls in Waikiki between 12 -15$The service could use a brush up, its a bit hit or miss. Had great service the first couple times, and then today, it was non existent and not busy either. Parking lot is small, but I manage to get a spot if I drive.“
“Delicious food. Great prices. Definitely will be back!I've been wanting to try Pupukea Grindz for so long now, but since they have limited hours, I always find myself checking them out when they're already closed (funny, not funny). Lucky for me, it's summer time and I'm off (for a while lol) so I took the kids on a spontaneous run for some grindz. Yesterday, we ordered the Ahi Katsu plate with tossed salad, and 2 Korean Garlic Chicken plates with mac. The food was spot on - fresh and flavorful. I absolutely enjoyed my ahi katsu and having the option of FRESH GREENS! The dressing tasted like a basic Oriental, that of which I switched out once I got home, but overall, that plate was 5 stars. Both kids got the Korean chicken. They really should've shared one plate; each had a nice hefty portion. Chicken was so frickn crunchy and perfectly seasoned with their sauce. Mac was somewhat grainy from the potatoes, but still another 5 star dish. Sorry, my pic just doesn't do the KGC justice. Why 4 stars then? They seemed to be out of a good chunk of their menu. And most importantly, I'm a simple person and the first impression goes far. I don't want to sound picky, but it's a pet peeve of mines when I walk into a place AND ITS EMPTY, and the workers can't even say hello. I just don't get it. Maybe they were super busy with phone orders (although we got eye contact) and didn't realize the unwelcoming tone when we got the "I'll be with you in a minute" from the kitchen prep area, but that's my piece with hopes that it makes a difference for the better of the business. Upon grabbing my food after the 20 minute wait, the guy seemed to have cheered up a slight bit, just to add. Can't change the first impression tho. Anyways!! Go check em, go check em, go!“
“A cafe located in the resort I stayed at while visiting O’ahu Hawaii!?Hawaiian Aroma was the perfect place to grab coffee, breakfast, and treats on busy vacation days!Atmosphere: The shop is located near the lobby and provides a convenient one stop shop for guests who want to grab something delicious and quick on the go! I love the space as it has a beach theme with a variety of menu items to choose from as well as a whole wall of merch (hats, mugs, coffee beans, sunscreen, and more!Service: Every time that I went in, the girls that were working there always tried to ensure that the orders came out quickly despite how busy they’d get.Menu items: I got their Original Acai Bowl, Acai Waffle, and Dolce and Banana iced coffee with almond milk! Their acai bowl was my favorite item on their menu—it was so fresh and delicious! They also serve smoothies, sandwiches, and baked goods making the space a great place for breakfast, brunch, and lunch! I also snagged Sun Bun banana chapstick during one of my visits! ☕️ ?“
“I am an açaí bowl addict. My wife is close behind. The Lanikai Juice açaí bowls are wonderful. I have been getting them there for several years and the consistency is amazing. What is even more impressive is the service. I go to the Kahala store but have found the service to be excellent when I have gone to the Lanikai Juice's other shops. The staff is mostly young. They are hardworking, conscientious and, very importantly to me, kind. Obviously, over the years the staff has turned over. But the quality of the employees and the product remains high regardless. This can't be an accident. Kudos to the owner.“
“While stopping to catch the last sunset of our trip we noticed a couple people walking by with shave ice and saw that Banan was located right off the sand and it was the perfect opportunity to grab another shave ice before leaving. Little did we know that this little beach shack was also driven by making a better environment and reducing carbon footprint all while reviving Hawaii's banana industry! Their frozen yogurt was all banana based and absolutely delicious, at first bite the subtle hint of banana had you think what was that? The more you indulge the more you find yourself addicted! No added sugar so it's a win win, sweet treat and less guilt! Order up the pineapple yacht for that instagram worthy belly filling treat!!“
“I was running errands last night and decided that I had wanted a sweet treat. I stopped at Jamba Juice for my usual, chocolate moo'd. I let the girl at the register know of my almond allergy. She went straight back to tell the person making my Smoothie about my allergy and ensured that there was no cross contamination. The store was clean and quiet as it was at the end of the evening. I will be back!“
“I think fresh juice just makes me feel and look great! And sometimes I get the 50 percent off bottled juices that are about to expire and feel even better with a deal-Love all the juices here - and try to have one daily or if O am around the area!“
“I was in the area and stopped by to get a smoothie. It was scorching hot out. I couldn't decide what to get. I used to always get the white gummy bear off their secret menu. I'm happy it's on the regular menu now. I guess for the summer they rolled out their tropical smoothies : lavaflow, watermelon breeze and pina colada. Those looked really good, but I eventually went with the mega mango. I love my mango drinks. It was actually really good. It's hard to guess with the smoothies at Jamba. Sometimes, the drinks are really sweet and sometimes the drinks are really tart depending on which one you get. This one was somewhere in the middle.“
“Good juice, smoothie, and service. The business hours have been changed since October 1. Today, I arrived there at 4:49PM, the store looks closed for the day, and the female employee was cleaning up. Luckily, she took my order and locked the door almost right after I left. LOL“
“After the gym I was hungry and decided to eat healthy food here)) I ordered a roast beef sandwich and a moana bowl (acai bowl). They serve salad with the sandwich, the lettuce was fresh and the sauce was sweet and sour. The acai bowl was sooo delicious?! I liked it all very much! The service is fast, the girls are very nice. I'll definitely be back!“
“Lanikai Juice is a very popular juice and smoothie shop in Hawaii. We use fresh, locally sourced ingredients, are rich in vitamins and minerals, and also have vegan-friendly and gluten-free options. We also have menus perfect for energy replenishment, weight loss support, and workout recovery, so it's also recommended for health-conscious people. Located near Kahala Mall and Whole Foods Market, it's the perfect place to stop by before or after shopping. If you are looking for a delicious and healthy menu, be sure to visit Lanikai Juice Kahala!“
“Refreshing sugar cane juice in Aiea, Oahu, Hawaii...Sugah Daddeh's Kane Juice used to be by the Starbucks by Anna Miller's. I saw the shop, but didn't have time. I told myself that I would return... especially because so many of my friends wrote reviews (Donna, Irene, Angel, Deborah, Gabriel, Rissa, Janice, Reuben, Tanyce, and Kyra).Today, I saw the new location at "Downtown Pearlridge". If you go to the mall, it's above Longs Drugs Store (that's where I usually park because it's covered). Go up the escalator, and the kiosk is by Guava Smoked, Hot Topic, and Aloha Salads. Looking at the menu, the Mason Jar is the best deal because you can get $2 off when you bring the jar back for a refill! I decided to get the Mean Buggah with blueberries, strawberries, pineapple, and calamansi juice. It was really cool to watch the gal chop up the fruits (to fit the boba straw) right there!Mmm! The juice was NOT too sweet, but just right - and it felt healthy - especially after reading about the benefits of sugar cane juice!I'm looking forward to returning and trying the other flavors! Note: açai bowls, Gelato, and sorbet are also available!“
